I have been in the hospital several times from a kid-adult. Never enjoyed the experience. Well I have now been in here since Saturday and still have a few days to go. Im not going to talk about all the negative things thats happened. What I am going to say is Ms. Linda who works on the 2nd floor of the old side, is a Godsend. She is the best nurse i have ever had. Thats at any hospital, UK, whitesburge etc. She takes the cake. She talks to you and treats you with so much love and respect. She can be ran wild and still be patient with you. She is down to earth and understanding. I never felt judge or like I was bothering her. I adore her. ARH take notes. If you had more nurse like this, maybe just maybe people would want to actually come here for treatment. Linda you'll probably never read this, but thank you so much for just being yourself and keep up the good work❤️ She is the only reason I put five stars, because she deserves the credit.

My experience was enlightening to say the least. The staff was helpful. Food was great for a hospital. Clean & Resourceful.

I’m in Harlan visiting family from Arizona. While here I contracted a stomach virus on Christmas and at the same time I was dealing with back spasms since the previous 4 days. I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t anything more than a virus. I know this is a small town so I can’t compare the wait times to ERs in Phoenix, but it’s hard to not be impressed by the fact that as soon as I checked in that I was called back. The nurses and other staff were so sweet. The doctor I saw was very thorough and kind and ordered medicine that quickly made me feel better. I walked out of here feeling relief from my nausea and abdominal pain, and my back spasms have not been an issue since! In Phoenix you often see the doctor once and then only see the nurses but the doctor was involved throughout my visit. In addition, I was impressed by the lady who checked me in and got my information. I wish I had gotten her name. She gave me so much information that you don’t see given in Phoenix hospitals and she was so sweet during my time there. In the amount of time I waited to be called from the time I was discharged I would have still had a few hours at least waiting to be seen if I was back home. Thank you ARH for helping me feel better!

I’ve been hospitalized here twice due to suicide attempts and the staff is super kind. There isn’t much to do but the place is really what you make of it. The therapists, doctors, and nurses that come in are super knowledgeable and understanding. The main issues with this facility is cleanliness and how the worst of the worst also gets hospitalized there due to accepting people who have a criminal record or etc. . Led way for lots of creepy men who were always trying to be around me. Besides that they helped keep me safe when I did not feel like being alive.

This place will forever have a special spot in my heart. The employees saved my life every single day for 30 days. The therapists are also something to not overlook, they go WAY above and beyond to educate what's really going on with our minds and body. I've been through 4 recovery centers, two in Kentucky one in California and then this one. This is the only one I can truly say that they take this lifestyle seriously and the presence of a higher power flows through every body in the house. I wouldn't recommend any other place. Thank you for everything staff! I won't forget a single one of you.

I have been to this treatment centers at least 3 times and the e town facility twice. I’ve been to treatment as a controlled environment for this program over 40 times. But for 7 months through an implant in my ear I have had to listen to 2 or 3 people in my ear for 24/7 mostly about my ex boyfriend who the program hired to mess with me as well. Every treatment center and sober living I have been in for 7 years has participated all my so called friends, family, even bf were brought into it. I’m harassed about every trauma or horrible experience they could create or find out about. This was a good place but I hit 4 treatment centers in 4 weeks because they went too far stressing me with the voices in my ear canal as well as the clients and staff they recruited to play games while my thoughts broadcasted to the people around me. For the government to issue whatever for hips to be violated and them to enter a rehab for research grounds or court order is all that could do it. It’s been 17 years of nastiness especially the last 7 years but they hired my bf to leave me and play games with me so the voices in my ear could non stop torture me with him and how he took a job to leave me. The truth is they have had me isolated and single for 17 years and they had to get me lit and him away from me to be able to do this stressed out miserable research on me. So they brought him into the group payed to monitor me to get him away and make me feel miserable and isolated and they make sure I know it was about money from my boyfriend or ex I guess since I get a vague wish washy text ever 2 to 3 days to string me along so they can keep torturing me about him.how much money did it take. Why after I find someone after 17 years did you destroy it? Thanks for your part Stepworks London this was the second fight in 4 centers I had been to in 4 weeks. Crown was playing and Lackey and SouthShore RW in the past 6 weeks this program was even brought into the AA meetings I attended and my Clinicians were up to it too

I was recently at Lydia's house phase 1. I balked at the thought of going to a faith-based rehabilitation facility as many struggling with addiction will. The staff and interns at all of the ARC (Addiction Recovery Care) facilities are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They really do care and it shows. If you are struggling with addiction and have been to other rehabs where God was only mentioned in step 3, then I urge you to give it a chance. God really lives in that house and through the people there. Patience, open-mindedness and acceptance are just two of their MANY loving traits. I was in Elizabeth's room across the hall from Mary's room and beside Hannah's room which is adjacent to Sarah's room. These are not the names of clients, rather the names given to each room in the house so given because they are women of the Bible who had miraculous births. if you are ready to birth a miraculous new life then give Lydia's house a call I promise you you will be glad you did God bless and have a wonderful day.

I had taken my daughter to numerous rehab centers and she always relapsed. After spending 30 days here she moved on to phase 2 at Beth’s blessings. I can’t say enough good things about this place so I’m just gonna say I’m so greatful for everything they have done for my daughter. My daughter is back to her old self and has found the lord and been saved. Addiction is hell and if you want to change your life and you have to want to, then I recommend this place.

This review is a little late in the making. This treatment facility, it's programs and it's staff were great. This is the type of treatment center you want when you are truly ready to change. I've seen a lot of ppl just quit and leave because of, well , you name it. If a person isn't truly ready for change then any excuse to leave is good enough no matter what treatment center it is. If you or a loved one or someone you know has a problem with addiction and is ready, I mean truly ready for positive change then I believe Westcare will help you do it.

This place changed my life I'm now clean an sober , I have regained my family , a job , and the knowledge , and tools that I needed to suceed being sober. My counselor Mr Ratliff understands the mindset of an addict . We all have a choice to either get clean or not . And the people that run off or give bad reviews in my opinion dont want to change , if nothing changes then nothing changes . I spent my whole life giving in to drugs the easy way it takes work to stay clean .

I personally loved this place. I was there in 2013 right out of prison, pregnant and hopeless. The staff was wonderful and took care of us. In way it sucked (at first) but believe it or not it actually ended up being a great place for me. Were there some bumps on the road yes. Were there times I wanted to run home yes (I actually tried and didn't make it far) but at the same time nothing that you could go through there was any worse that being home in fact I think I maybe wouldn't be here today if not for good Ole dessie. I met some of the best people in my life here. I had some really good experiences. I finished high-school I am 29 and am married with 3 kids and a homeowner. I can honestly say none of those things would be true if not for them. I actually am a 2 timer I went for 6 months when I was 15 and it wasn't long enough. Got home and didn't make it 3 months had to come right back. Well anyway I guess my point is you don't make it there by accident or by bad luck and there are a thousand worse places they could send you I promise you.

So i started going to Spero in Nov 2023 after moving to this state. Out of all the treatment facilities in Coeburn and Norton this is the ONLY office that took my insurance. The Norton Office is amazing. The whole team is very polite and respectful and they listen to you and what's going on. Highly recommend this office if you are looking for an addiction treatment program.

I’ve searched for a good therapist and psychiatrist team for a long time and I’ve absolutely found it here! They seem to really care and are very genuine and patient. They are not there to push medication and get you out the door, they take the time to understand your symptoms and background to find ways that will help the most. I’d recommend them to everyone.

This is an awesome place to go. The staff are AMAZING! Always friendly and listens and very patient and understanding! I recommend highly. The staff and doctor treat me like a human being not just some addict or number. They listen to me, don’t judge, and really care. And If I miss an appointment without calling, they call to check on me and make sure I’m okay. That speaks for itself. I’ve NEVER been to another place that does that, and that says enough. I highly recommend Spero Health of Barbourville to anyone suffering from addiction to opiates if they're serious about getting help. I've learned those who don't want sobriety or think they know better tend to refer to Suboxone as "poison" or anything else to degrade the program that's saved my life and many more lives all around me. It offends me to see some of these reviews accuse us of selling our Suboxone while in the same breath talk about how the flooding of places with Suboxone has dropped the price dramatically so that is a contradiction in itself as there's no money to be made but if you're not ready for Spero Health & choose to exist miserablly I understand why your judgement of us doing well being happy in the program could confuse you. I'm sorry you've not suffered in addiction long enough to realize that you deserve to be happy & healthy both mentally & physically. Spero Health can help you achieve that & much more.
