Out of all the treatment facilities in Coeburn and Norton this is the ONLY office that took my insurance. The Norton Office is amazing. I'd heard horror stories about the facility and staff while incarcerated. I was shocked when arrived there to finish my sentence out. The food is actually good and the staff...I cried when I left. The men and women there had made me feel like a human being. They helped me through the re-entry process and were professional yet human. This is the type of treatment center you want when you are truly ready to change. I've seen a lot of ppl just quit and leave because of, well , you name it. The staff and interns at all of the ARC (Addiction Recovery Care) facilities are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They really do care and it shows. If you are struggling with addiction and have been to other rehabs where God was only mentioned in step 3, then I urge you to give it a chance. God really lives in that house and through the people there. Patience, open-mindedness and acceptance are just two of their MANY loving traits. I was in Elizabeth's room across the hall from Mary's room and beside Hannah's room which is adjacent to Sarah's room. I can’t say enough good things about this place so I’m just gonna say I’m so greatful for everything they have done for my daughter. I had a wonderful experience here which may seem odd to say because of the type of place it is but I mean it. I was at the lowest point in my life and had to be transferred here from Holsten Valley ER (voluntarily) and was super scared to go but felt incredibly welcomed by patients and staff. The staff there will always talk to you and listen to what you have to say and even if you have to ramble they will listen. I had one night where I was absolutely having a miserable panic attack and they did everything they could to calm me down. The food was AMAZING for some reason and I cannot complement the chefs and Lasagna enough. They even went out of their way to find me stuff to eat because of a restricted diet due to my teeth. Sure it was just soups and uncrustables but they didn't have to do that. They even made a vegetarian meal for another patient there. The only "complaint' is that they wake you up to check your vitals but you don't have to leave your room at least in the middle of the night. You get used to it though. You have completely free control over what you do other than vital checks and a morning meeting around 9 that everyone must attend. She helped me massively with getting a job I was comfortable with. She assisted me with clothing and rides too places I needed too be at. I struggle with social environments among other things, while working with her she was patient and considerate of my boundaries. I had a wonderful experience here which may seem odd to say because of the type of place it is but I mean it. I was at the lowest point in my life and had to be transferred here from Holsten Valley ER (voluntarily) and was super scared to go but felt incredibly welcomed by patients and staff. The staff there will always talk to you and listen to what you have to say and even if you have to ramble they will listen. I had one night where I was absolutely having a miserable panic attack and they did everything they could to calm me down. The food was AMAZING for some reason and I cannot complement the chefs and Lasagna enough. They even went out of their way to find me stuff to eat because of a restricted diet due to my teeth. Sure it was just soups and uncrustables but they didn't have to do that. They even made a vegetarian meal for another patient there. The only "complaint' is that they wake you up to check your vitals but you don't have to leave your room at least in the middle of the night. You get used to it though. You have completely free control over what you do other than vital checks and a morning meeting around 9 that everyone must attend.
