The medicine doctor Jill is very understanding takes her time with you and makes sure that you're heard and understood thank you Jill! I've been struggling a good amount n the counselor I saw was pretty rude n overrunning I made it clear I didn't want her as a counselor n she made sure to change the therapist until my next apt. They're all - except that one chick- very nice and excepting here

My experience with all the staff here has always been positive! I have been coming here for 3 years, and I have always loved my therapists, I love my case manager, and the doctors and nurse practitioners are pretty good too. They are always so kind, understanding, great listeners, and offer great advice. The only downside is they seem to change staff frequently so I’ve had to change therapists like 3 times. But I have loved every single one! I don’t know why this place has so many negative reviews. I’ve always had a very positive experience. The staff here works very hard to provide services to those in the community who are less fortunate and I really appreciate that. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Johnson City, TN | Frontier Health - Willow Ridge is a residential rehab in Johnson City, Tennessee, that’s part of the Frontier Health network. They serve adult women ages 18 and older who have drug and alcohol addiction and those who have co-occurring mental health conditions. What’s cool about this rehab is that it’s relatively small with just 19 beds. This | Treatments Programs Payment Options | (This account is my husband’s)
When I say Willow Ridge saved my life, it’s an understatement. Everyone that works there is devoted to every individual’s needs, comfort, and improvement. I got my life back because of willow and I’m thankful every single day. I will ALWAYS recommend Willow to others looking for help and know they are in great care.
Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape.
Now today, I am over a year clean and I owe so much of that to willow. I truly gained my life and my family back. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction.
What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions.
Today, I am sober and living a life beyond my wildest dreams, and I owe it all to the amazing team at Willow Ridge. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't hesitate to reach out to them. It was the best decision I ever made!!

The Crisis Stabilization Unit literally saved my life. I walked in broken and defeated and left feeling hopeful for the first time in years. I don't know where they found all the wonderful people who work there but I'm glad I met every single one of them.
If you're struggling with an addiction or find yourself in a mental health crisis and fear is keeping you from taking the big step through the doors of a facility like that, please know that you will be met with nothing but love, kindness, patience and genuine concern that you get better.
My higher power and reason to stay sober is that I wouldn't want any of their efforts to have been a waste and, even though they'd never know if I drank again, the thought of disappointing any of the people who helped me get sober is reason enough to never back-slide.

I was there 6/11/2025 through 6/14/2025. I'd been there twice before when I was younger for self harm but this time around for alcohol abuse. The food has gone way down hill, but I suppose it could be worse. Trying to sleep there was a nightmare for me because I'm used to sleeping with a fan/tv and the place goes from complete silence to rando losing their mind and slamming doors at all hours of the night. With that said, I'm writing this to give props to Savannah (peer counselor) and Dami (can't remember her specific title). This place has its flaws, but doesn’t every place? I have been here as a child and as a teenager. I also did run from this place due to my own problems. I really did like it here tho , they were honestly a good facility and had great staff members. Jacob Harvey does his best to support the kids and make them feel protected the best he could. I remember being in a bad relationship and him helping me through it. My therapist was Ms. Morgan and she was amazing. She was always walking me through everything i was struggling with and making me feel better. My favorite staff were: Brittany Crabtree, Savannah Browning, K. Roark, Mr. Harvey, Ms Lowe, and Ms. Hawkins. I liked the other staff to but these stood out. I do recommend this facility if you are in crisis or need help.

I went here when I was younger, the staff were nice (that I remember). The main thing I remember was being a little girl (about 7 years old) and being put in a dorm with older girls. The youngest in the dorm I was in being 14. The staff were nice and had lots of activities for people to do. The therapist I had there was kind, but the one thing that did scare me was when someone would go out of control and staff had to hold them down. There often was a lot of yelling before the chaos would die down, but for those wondering they do take care of them safely. I do wish there were more activities to do outside, since that when I remember would be that little outing outside the front and I think there was another space to be outside? (It’s been so long I barely remember). But I must say this place helped me bunches and I’m glad I went here. It can be scary at first but they will take great care of you.

Kingsport, TN | Frontier Health is a provider of mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities and children and youth services. They have 65 locations in 12 counties across Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. One of these is called Link House and is located in Kingsport, Tennessee. Link House is a safe place for minors under 18 whenever they n | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was in link house between 2022-2024 I hated it at first but then turned to ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! The staff was absolutely amazing I loved everything about it even though I was there for such a long time I learned that responsibilities play a very important role in how your stay at link house goes. I wasn’t the best kid I did my fair shares of consequences and BRFs which was 100% deserved on my part lol. Staff aren’t against you this place isn’t scary as people think it is it’s a different place and coming into a new place with new people can be uncomfortable which is understandable but I’ve never had staff turn me down when I’m feeling sad they’ve always helped me and talked me through everything!!! And a very huge shoutout to Mrs. Michelle, Mrs. Madison, Mrs. Tonya, Miss Christy cleek, Miss Megan, Mrs. Kourtney, shoot all the freaking staff that was there while I was including the house managers Mrs. Christy Mullins until she left and we got Mrs. Nicole!!!! All the staff were amazing there’s just way too many to name lol! Girls seem to make link house seem like such a bad place and those people are typically the ones that gave everyone a very hard time. Staff aren’t against us at all only trying to help us and a lot of the staff can understand us because they’ve had similar experiences. We may not have as much freedom as people that aren’t dealing with situations like ares but staff still made an effort to make us feel normal and for some very great examples we got to go the the pool roller skating and hiking and to countless parks during the summer, given we couldn’t speak to people outside of the group home it never made
Me feel any different. But during school season we still got to go on goals trips which maybe was just to some fast food place to eat dinner it still made me feel normal getting to go out and on our way back getting to drive around for a bit listening to music in the van made me feel like I was normal. I’d like to add while I was there I graduated high school early and had to stay home all the time until Mrs. Beverley finally was able to allow me to get a job (at 17) I worked at jimmy johns and one of the staff was so kind to talk to the manager there and was able to help me get a job there since she worked at a different location and knew the manager at my location!!! Which was short lived since I had finally got foster placement it hurt me more leaving there then anything lol I’d go back if I could!!!!! I’ll definitely be trying to apply for a job down there once I’m able to I’d definitely love to work in a place like that especially with children that need help and support!!!!! The only bad thing I have to say about this place is probably just after school searches which just took forever and you don’t have to worry about anything unless you're trying hide something lmao. Another bad thing is when other girls snuck stuff in like vapes or other sorts of contraband and no one would confess which would lead to getting rooms searched until it was found lol. Also I miss the staffs cooking each had something different that everyone loved!!! Looking back on how I acted and how I was treated I definitely improved myself and learned from my lessons. Link house taught me a lot that I never thought I needed to know which made it mean so much more to me!!!!! Also they had a thing called “store” where girls can earn points throughout the week for keeping rooms cleaned and keeping 100s for their days (which is just acting good) and on Wednesdays when we had treatment team if we had 100s all week we’d get points for that as well we could also earn points for doing extra chores or helping other girls and sometimes even and fun little activities we got to do. But during store we got to spend our points on things that was bought or requested to get like yarn and art supplies candy and snacks makeup all kinds of things!!!! I’d say out of every group home I’ve heard of or been to link house is definitely the best out of them all!!!! I can’t wait to try and work there one day!!!!!
