I attended the open house for the grand reopening of the Caldwell House after recent renovations. A great place to help men who are struggling with addiction. It seems to be operated by good people who truly care. The house itself looks very nice. Each room houses two individuals and has its own bathroom.

Was there in 1990 my room mate almost burned the place down. JB and Vicki were robbing the place blind. Finally got some new people to run it and they were fantastic. Great place!

Safe place to recover from addiction from alcohol or drugs! They will help you find a job and give you a ride back and forth to work.

I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.

UPDATE- I get phone calls telling me their insurance asked them to get me to come back?? This place is literally the opposite of therapy its a TRAP... DO NOT GO HERE. A terrible, miserable place where no one ever cares and no one gets better at. Its not a place to get better, its a place to hold you down from facing reality and dealing with issues as you should and medicate you into oblivion.

They help me so much, and they are so nice. Daymark is the place if you need help with anything, also they have tons of resources if you need them! They are here to talk to you and support you with anything you need especially if you know anyone struggling with addiction they are here to help and I recommend it because if you don’t have Medicaid it does not matter it’s free!!

Mario was wonderful to work with on my SAP evaluation and SUPER helpful with getting my data submitted into the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. If you find yourself needing help with a DOT SAP evaluation this is your best bet for professional service. I HIGHLY recommend using Mario for your Return To Duty requirements.

Dr. Lane is the absolute best, Sheila is an all-star. I made some comments I truly regret. But this place saves lives. Including my own life. Im Sorry Day mark staff. I love you all of you!!!

It was great the staff were very cool and helpful...... I got everything I needed to help me with my drug and alcohol abuse..... Even my after care network program worked out for me..... I am so thankful 🙏 for Daymark..... This facility helped save my life..... 💯💪👌

I can’t say enough about the incredible staff at Sunpath! We’ve been with them since 2022. My son was only 4 at the time of a sudden passing and we struggled for months to find a therapist. Gratefully, Jarrett was willing to take him on and has been an unbelievable asset to helping our family navigate through grief, life and “growing pains.” My daughter even switched over so she could work with Kim, who has been a true blessing for her (and us). Erika has also been a wealth of knowledge and is always extraordinarily helpful with navigating things. From the day we walked through the doors, we’ve always been treated with kindness, empathy, compassion and genuine care and have always felt like family, not just clients. We’re truly grateful for finding Sunpath and absolutely love everyone who works there!

I absolutely love this place! The building is super clean and fancy!! Everyone there is extremely kind, and the counselors actually care about your well-being. My own psychologist, that I’ve seen for six years now, is absolutely horrible and truly doesn’t even know me. I even cry after our sessions… She’s that terrible. Now that I have Medicaid, I’ll be able to find another provider. I’ve been coming to Sunpath for about four months now, and the talk therapy is crucial in dealing with my MDD, PTSD, and acute anxiety. The one on one sessions truly help. I even enjoy the little ‘homework’ I’m sent home with, to continue working on my mental health and better coping skills. AJ is my counselor, and I truly feel comfortable and at ease talking with him. There’s absolutely no judgement whatsoever! Believe it or not, these appointments give me something to look forward to. I would highly recommend Sunpath to anyone who is looking for a counselor. I think they provide other services as well, but you’d have to call and ask. I’m not 100% sure.

Great place safe place

As a child I was placed here and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. These people are saving children's lives and saved mine as well. I staid for sometime in the 90's and now I am a productive part of society, with 4 children, a degree, worked for a major sport, and am a 2 time war veteran. If not for a new start here I am sure my resume would read much different. Ill never be able to repay Grandfather home for saving my life. All can I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart and I love you all!!! I have overcome the "impossible" because of you!!!!!! If there is anything I can ever do to help please reach out to me. It would be an honor!

As a child in the early 2000's I went here it was awful..no love nothing is personalized and there's no real passion from the workers. It was just a job to them.. I'm older now moved to California started a business and started a family I came down here to visit today & it brought up so many memories of how I was treated & what I really needed when I was there..which really made me just want to knock on their doors and ask for a job... because the kids who go here really need someone who's walked in their same steps and came out on the other side Victorious . They need love and personalized care real attention to get to the root of the problem . Not just looked at as a bunch of mentally ill kids.. because all I was really missing was someone to truly care & to give me some tough love.

I am from California, I spent 3 months at the facility. They definitely over charge you for treatment. Their facilities aren't the best....however there are some people here doing almighty work. One such person is Hakim. He is a counselor here. He is a good man with a good heart, he cares about people. I wish he would transfer to California and be my counselor there. He really helped to see many things in a different way. He's very passionate about his patients and the job he does. I would guess they don't pay him nearly enough for how valuable he is to this facility. I hope to see Hakim again one day. There is also Jay who is often the only nurse in the dispensery. A great guy and always has a kind word. I'll miss these guys very much....they probably have no idea how much what they do impacts people's lives....or maybe they do. Either way folks like them are rare in today world.

This is a response to the last review I see, the lady with a small star on her icon. Methadone is a safe medication, it stops withdrawals from illicit opiates and does not get the person in treatment "high", which allows the patient to get their lives back. Please educate yourself on methadone and methadone treatment centers.

Obviously the people saying "one addiction for another" has very limited understanding of this treatment and addiction. Yes, this treatment can take years. This verses cold turkey/abstaining is night and day with success rates. Or I like to call that the "just pray about it and hope" method. BTW it doesn't work. If it did, nobody would have an addiction. These people complaining are still failing drug test and trying to play the system. Eventually u have to admit defeat and surrender to ur recovery and stop trying to use illegal substances by counting days till ur testing is done or sneaking in urine or basically trying to manipulate ur recovery process. I promise u will get out of recovery what energy u put into it as well . Yes, there are a couple nursed that seem to not get we r patients and we pay thousands of dollars a year to be there and yet they treat us as if we r at the dmv. One is down right rude and doesn't even look at us. She will not speak to us u less ahe has to. We will not miss her when she goes we just really hope she leaves soon.
