This is the first and last detox/recovery center I will have ever attended and i will admit that i was a bit uncomfortable and timid because i had no idea what to expect. I was greeted immediately after exiting my car and brought on a brief tour and then brought to my room where i stayed a bit out of a fear of the unknown. i will fast forward to keep this brief but after getting to know the staff as well as the other patients i actually didn't want to leave. In fact i did leave after detox and came back less than 24 hours later to stay in the residential section and because I missed the environment as a whole, especially the commrodory which is so strong that i would imagine it may only be rivaled by the army/military etc. I have gained a priceless amount of knowledge and wisdom and when my final night approached...all i could think about was coming back just to feel like i am surrounded by people whom actually understand me.

Freedom Detox is an amazing, comfortable place, with kind staff, good food, and qualified medical care professionals who are willing to discuss treatment options. As your time in detox wraps up, there are talented after care coordinators like Jennifer who will help you find options for further treatment. In the meanwhile, there are puzzles, arts, crafts, games, footballs, soccer balls, badminton, and other fun activities. Overall, Freedom Detox is a place where recovery is taken seriously in a highly comfortable environment. Highly recommend.

The Blanchard Institute has saved my family! Myself and another family member have been through the programs and are about to “graduate.” I cannot recommend TBI highly enough! Their unique strategic family programming takes all the shame & blame off of those in the program and focuses on the family as a system and how to recreate function out of dysfunction. I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed. Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run. As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again. A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.". How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt. XO

Great place! Coming into this I was a little skeptical about being treated well. The staff and therapist took their time with me, to tend to my needs as a new patient. I had some bumps along the way until I met Evie Dillard. She was so helpful to me by giving me extra resources to get ready to exit treatment. I’m talking about food, shelter and even information about great jobs. I started working, got a place to rest my and made great friend for life. Thank you so much, Evie.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st. I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me. I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS. There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need. The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them. You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind! Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers. I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts. Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail ( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog) And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony! But I'm betting she would do it for free No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it. Buddy Stovall

I know from personal experience as an ex-employee that this is a life saving program!! I highly recommend any man wanting a real breakthrough in their life to get the help they offer5 ⭐️ all day everyday!

4 stars over all... Boone deserves 5... Enjoyed the faith oriented part.... Some staff could be re evaluated....
