This teeatmemt center is so different to ones ive been to in the past. They treat you like the human being you are not a number. All the counselors are amazing. Maybe timing but mostly my counselors approach allowed me to learn about myself. This place made sure I was holding myself accountable. Herb showed me in life we will always have ppl to bring us down if allowed I didn't follow his advice to remove myself from those that used me fast enough but did have life changing experience not long after finishing the class. They focus on getting back and nurturing the healthy relationships through sobriety yet no nonsense to those not using our time appropiately. I can't say enough to reception that let me in to stay warm to director that made herself available. I saw a Dr.here and figured out right meds to take during that situational time in my life. I recommend them.

Lifechanging! Thanks to 2 particular counselors my life is fuller i learned how to love myself and people again from following advice and getting away from destructive habits. Had to leave the county its what it took. I found happiness again which was a goal set through task. This place accommodated me on cold mornings when i had to be dropped off 45 mins early letting me in believe if you treat it like therapy you will get results. We helped one another bringing my faith back in humanity. Kind courteous good staff clean and kept stocked in snacks. I will never forget this place these people and the famous counselor with no socks! Thank you Melissa for listening bringing light and truth even tho it was uncomfortable. We had misunderstandings always worked it out. Problem solving facing confrontation in mature manner! Taught me so much.

I can’t say enough about the incredible staff at Sunpath! We’ve been with them since 2022. My son was only 4 at the time of a sudden passing and we struggled for months to find a therapist. Gratefully, Jarrett was willing to take him on and has been an unbelievable asset to helping our family navigate through grief, life and “growing pains.” My daughter even switched over so she could work with Kim, who has been a true blessing for her (and us). Erika has also been a wealth of knowledge and is always extraordinarily helpful with navigating things. I absolutely love this place! The building is super clean and fancy!! Everyone there is extremely kind, and the counselors actually care about your well-being. My own psychologist, that I’ve seen for six years now, is absolutely horrible and truly doesn’t even know me. I even cry after our sessions… She’s that terrible. Now that I have Medicaid, I’ll be able to find another provider.
I’ve been coming to Sunpath for about four months now, and the talk therapy is crucial in dealing with my MDD, PTSD, and acute anxiety. The one on one sessions truly help.
I even enjoy the little ‘homework’ I’m sent home with, to continue working on my mental health and better coping skills.
AJ is my counselor, and I truly feel comfortable and at ease talking with him. There’s absolutely no judgement whatsoever! Believe it or not, these appointments give me something to look forward to.
I would highly recommend Sunpath to anyone who is looking for a counselor. I think they provide other services as well, but you’d have to call and ask. I’m not 100% sure.

had been 9 years sober and had a four month relapse that led me to detox and then to Achieve.
During my addict days (about 16 years) I went through several detox and transitional type programs and never found anything like this place. The type of care and attention they give to has tremendous results. All of the staff there are genuine and real and will do whatever they can to help you. No matter how small! A good example was my counselor (wess) He had an approach that was not cookie cutter straight from a how to guide but tailored to how he saw me as an individual. I was so impressed by it because not only was I learning about what I needed to start working on for myself but having been a counselor myself was learning something new in reaching people more effectively should I counsel again. And my social and emotional setbacks (due to my autism) was no easy feat. Wess you were awesome!!

I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed.
Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run.
As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again.
A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.".
How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt.

Great place! Coming into this I was a little skeptical about being treated well. The staff and therapist took their time with me, to tend to my needs as a new patient. I had some bumps along the way until I met Evie Dillard. She was so helpful to me by giving me extra resources to get ready to exit treatment. I’m talking about food, shelter and even information about great jobs. I started working, got a place to rest my and made great friend for life. Thank you so much, Evie.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st.
I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me.
I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS.
There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need.
The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them.
You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind!
Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers.
I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts.
Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail
( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog)
And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes
She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony!
But I'm betting she would do it for free

Dr. Hammond is working with me for my parenting classes. Since starting, I've become closer with my kids, calmer, more understanding, and my kids even mentioned specifically that I have changed so much. They even told me they enjoy talking to me more now. I no longer yell at my kids, or get overwhelmed, or overly frustrated. Communication is so much easier. And I even utilize what I learn in each class, in my everyday life aside from parenting. I absolutely love these classes and am thankful for this program.

This place has had its fair share of up-and-down in the last 10 years. But what I can say, is this, There is a counselor named Keith if you were a seasoned addict and you need genuine counselor, I want you to request Keith. This man has been in my life for 10 years, and as I came back-and-forth between clinics, he always became my counselor again. Never judgmental, Always always rational and you can’t help but to put a smile on your face when you’re around him his aura, It is purple. And I’m telling you right now he is a blessing to this place. The program director is also a counselor that has been there for a while and moved her way up. She is also fair and a sweetheart tells me to have a good morning every day. The financial person that does insurance she will work with you as long as you are doing for yourself and trying to make a better way for yourself they will help you. Today was my first class and i was nervous and didnt know what to expect but i was so surprised.
