Ms. Rhonda is the epitome of integrity. Ms. Rhonda is what I would call a "fluke" in todays recovery industry. She takes personal pride in helping people pull the pieces of their lives back together and enables individuals to have a foundation upon which to launch one's successful life. Concord, NC | Southeastern Recovery Center, located in Concord, North Carolina, is a family-owned and operated facility dedicated to treating addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Their comprehensive care in | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I will forever be grateful to Southeastern and the incredible people who helped my son during one of the most difficult times of his life.
As a mother who watched her son struggle with addiction for many years, there are truly no words to describe what it means to see him healthy, sober, and living his life again. Southeastern became an important part of that journey. They gave him the structure, support, guidance, and tools he needed to begin rebuilding his life and believing in himself again.
This Sunday, my son celebrates ONE YEAR SOBER, and that is something I once prayed so desperately to see. Today, those prayers have become reality. ❤️
Recovery takes tremendous work, and I give my son all the credit in the world for choosing every day to keep moving forward. But I will also never forget the people who stood beside him when he needed help finding his way.
To the staff at Southeastern: thank you for what you do, thank you for caring, and thank you for being part of giving families like ours hope again.
You didn’t just help my son—you helped give our family our son back.
From the bottom of this mother’s heart, thank you. 🙏❤️

Charlotte, NC | Harmony Recovery Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a mental health and substance use disorder treatment facility. The center opened with a desire to create a therapeutic environment for individuals to heal from addiction. They believe in | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If you're reading this right now and addiction has taken over your life — stop and read this for a second.
I used to think I didn’t need help. I thought I could do it on my own. I thought nobody understood what I was going through.
But the truth is… I needed help more than I ever realized.
Coming to Harmony Recovery Center was one of the hardest choices I’ve ever made — but it’s also one of the best.
The staff here aren’t just employees — they’re in recovery too. They’ve lived the chaos. They’ve felt the pain. They’ve fought the same fight most of us are fighting.
They’ve been in our shoes — and because of that, they don’t judge us… they *get* us.
They sit with you in the dark moments. They guide you when you feel lost. They push you when you want to give up. And they remind you every single day that recovery is possible.
They’ve been a huge part of my journey, and I don’t know where I’d be without them.
So if you’re out there struggling, using, or believing you’re too far gone — listen:
You’re not.
You CAN get clean. You CAN rebuild your life. You DESERVE a future you don’t want to escape from.
And if you don’t know where to start — start here.
Make the call. Walk through the doors. Let someone help you save your life.
It’s helping save mine. 💙

Where do I start, first let me say finding mental health help for my husband was an extreme challenge being that he doesn't have true substance abuse issues. However, when I was placed in contact with Harmony Recovery Center OMG! Ms. Evelyn Contacted me, and she had done all the leg work on her side and let me know in detail all that was needed from me to get my husband admitted. Needless to say, the transition was smoother than butter! In a matter of hours not days he was in! They stayed in contact with us through our travels. The staff was super welcoming and supportive! Honestly Ms. Evelyn has made this whole experience for me one of comfort and ease! It's never easy to leave the ones you love in the hands or care of strangers whether they are professionals or not, but Evelyn took all that away with her kindness, willingness to go above and beyond, her compassion, her empathy. All-in-all.... she is AWESOMELY AMAZING! Thank you, Ms. Evelyn, and the entire Harmony Recovery Center Staff

I am truly grateful to be housed at Harmony Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, I have felt supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. A huge part of that positive experience is thanks to Evelyn Dillard, who is an outstanding housing director.
Evelyn goes above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone here is safe, comfortable, and heard. She treats residents with compassion and professionalism, always taking the time to listen and respond to our needs. Her dedication to helping people rebuild their lives is clear in everything she does, and her leadership makes Harmony feel less like a facility and more like a community.
Thanks to Evelyn, this experience has been not only healing, but truly life-changing. I’m grateful for her kindness, guidance, and unwavering support. Harmony Recovery Center is a great place to be, and Evelyn Dillard is a big reason why.

During my time in the PHP program with CCR I have further grown in my faith, and in my overall recovery. The groups have been much more interactive and geared towards getting me ready to face the new world as a sober man, no longer wandering through life without purpose. The housing is much more relaxed, enjoyable and free, while still maintaining a daily structure of classes and groups. Which means I still get to come back in the morning and day time to see the friendly faces of Michelle, Sandy Cheeks, DJ, Patrick, Monique, Colby, Todd, Matt all the nurses (Bethany personal favorite even though I never took any medication we formed a special bond over my vitals lol) and of course the one and only. Tadalie Natalie. Big shout out to Josh for doing a great job in making the classes fun and helpful. Jay and Kendra for making the houses in order and supportive. And always Miss Mary for the spunk and just telling it how it is. I’m excited to start IOP even though I originally didn’t even want to do 30 days or be here at all. This whole experience has saved and changed my life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Much love, Joe

My experience at Carolina Center for Recovery was one of the most important and positive experiences I’ve had in the past few years. I arrived scared and uncertain about what to expect, but the entire team helped make the process feel safe, comfortable, and manageable.
The facility was exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. My private room was welcoming, with a comfortable memory foam mattress, plenty of closet space, and a private, updated, and immaculate bathroom. Those details may seem small, but when you’re going through something as difficult as detox, having a comfortable and peaceful environment makes a real difference.
The medical staff was incredible. They were caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout my stay. I always felt like I was being taken care of and that my concerns were being heard. The physicians were equally impressive. They took the time to meet with me privately, listen to me, answer my questions, and help me understand what I was going through.
I also want to give a special thank you to my case manager, Audrey. She was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and detail-oriented. She helped me navigate the process and took much of the fear and uncertainty out of an experience that was completely new to me.
I also want to recognize DJ, who was part of the technical support team. DJ was incredibly helpful, responsive, and supportive throughout my stay. Having someone who was willing to help with the practical and technical details made my experience that much easier and more comfortable.
I made the decision to seek help and begin this journey on my own, with the support of some very dear friends who encouraged me through the fear of the unknown. Carolina Center for Recovery provided the professional care and support I needed to take that first step.
I’m leaving with a newfound appreciation for sobriety, a greater sense of control over my life, and hope for what comes next. Choosing recovery has been one of the most important decisions of my life.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at Carolina Center for Recovery who treated me with dignity, compassion, and respect when I needed it most. I would highly recommend this center to anyone who is ready to take that first step toward recovery.

I've been with RTA for over 10 years and have seen a lot of changes, good and bad, over that time. A bit of my story first, I had several back surgeries and was on Percocet, fentanyl patches, and demerol all prescribed for several years. When time came to cease medications, my surgeon did not taper me down and instead told me to deal with it. RTA was there for me when nothing else was. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect by all staff. I have had several major health problems during my time and these people never failed to make sure that I was receiving the best care I possibly could. Yes, sometimes there are long waits, but there's shortages of nurses in every health care setting across the nation. People don't realize what these nurses go through dealing with several hundred patients a day, some not too happy most of the time, and even people screaming at them to do their job faster. As a retired health care professional myself, I empathize with these nurses and until you've done their job you have no right to criticize. Once these nurses have underwent their extensive training you can get in and out in minutes. The counselors I know there at present are some of the best and most caring people I've had the pleasure to get to know and they have helped me tremendously. Also, I would like to point out one extremely special person, Renita Wallace. She started as my counselor years ago and is now the Program Director. I have never met a person as genuine, kind, and caring as she is. She saved my life as I was going through my health issues in the last 5 years. She even helped my son (with my permission) through these last years. I honestly don't know where I would be without this wonderful lady. She's the best thing that has ever happened to RTA and I hope RTA realizes what they have in her. One last thing, thank you, Holly for also putting up with me over the years even when I couldn't tolerate myself! Thank you to all staff, you've been most wonderful to me!

I cannot speak highly enough of the care I’ve received from Dr. Kavita Kothari and therapist Michelle Parrom at Atrium Behavioral Health in Concord. They have been an incredible support system through my journey with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Both are extremely dedicated, compassionate, and truly invested in my well-being. Their support goes beyond our sessions—they consistently provide helpful recommendations, resources, and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted promptly, especially during times when I struggle to focus on work and manage daily life.

I am able to call and speak with someone directly or leave a message and my calls are always returned promptly. This is due to the wonderful ladies in the Salisbury office, Stacy and Kacie! These two stay on top of things and if ever I miss an appointment without calling first, they call to check on me to make sure things are okay. They both make need very comfortable and I can tell that they truly care about me and my family. I can’t give them enough praise!!!
My therapist, Tal’ Meshia, has been a god send! I, honestly and truly, don’t know what I would do without her! She has been a blessing and has taught me so much about myself and has helped me heal in so many ways. Not just myself but my mother and seven year old daughter look forward to seeing her every week, as well!!
I can’t sing enough praise about Genesis! I can honestly say that I have had zero complaints in over a year with them and I look forward to each visit! Thank you ladies for showing me and my family that you really do care about us! It means so very much!!!

*Sobriety *Spirituality *A Place to Live *A Job
If a formerly incarcerated person has these four necessities it greatly reduces their chance of recidivism. Teaching life skills based classes in the jails, and providing a list of resources to help them become productive members of society when they leave jail, is the mission of Crossroads Reentry Ministries. Incredible results are achieved from a dedicated leader and group of mostly volunteers. If you need help call them. If you want to help others call them. (Matthew 25:34-41)

I recently spent 2 nights in the cardiac area of the Novant hospital I would like to give a shout out to the amazing Nurses / CNA's that I encountered Amy Ellison, Karla Davis, Hollie Sarif and Terria Robbins .
