Besides the scenic location and the beautiful, clean house, the staff are incredible. They're awesome. They are life savers. Chris Mills (therapist) sets the tone - he ensures that the atmosphere of recovery is maintained. Without that we would all just be 'doing time' there. He is the de facto spiritual leader and I thank God that I have had the oppurtunity to learn from his demonstration. Ashleigh (therapist) has extensive experience of staying clean no matter what and transforming her life into something beautiful. She radiates that. I wish we all would see Rich (administrator) more as he is a spiritual master. Incredibley accessible spiritual wisdom he has. He can make difficult concepts about recovery easily digestible. Chris J (head supervisor) can make even the most desperate addict smile and want to take recovery serious. You cant help but know he understands the worst of the worst and doesnt judge. He just wants us all to recover. The recovery coaches are personable, friendly and funny but also hold us accountable and guide us in our recovery through their own experience. Thank you Ethan, Roger, Dylan, Daryl, Ryan, Noah, Tony, Led, Hunter and Bryant. The medical staff are just as wonderful. Theyre part of the family you become when there. The nickname is right about this place - "The Miracle on the Hill." tam “DoYouTamarinds” arinds 1 month ago I graduated from this program and went on to the Stepworks sober living and I now have 1 year clean. The therapists are probably the best part about the place, but all of the staff genuinely want to help you. It's in a very secluded place so it's nearly impossible to leave to use. Unlike most other places it's a big mansion with half the people upstairs and half downstairs. I stayed upstairs and the A/C was almost too good in the summer. It probably stayed 62 degrees up there. Would definitely recommend this if you are serious about getting sober. Lpd 2 months ago Literally the best rehab center I’ve ever attended. Had intensive group therapy multiple times a day, and it help me with all my issues. They had a full blown gym, and I made actual brothers there. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE. The staff are AMAZING! Always friendly and listens and very patient and understanding! I recommend highly. The staff and doctor treat me like a human being not just some addict or number. They listen to me, don’t judge, and really care. And If I miss an appointment without calling, they call to check on me and make sure I’m okay. That speaks for itself. It was a great experience overall. The staff were amazing. I have only one issue and the administration listened to my concern and plans were put into place to address my issue. The only negative thing was the bed. It was so uncomfortable. So the first thing told to my autistic son was this is not a punishment. He had been having trouble making friends at school but he was comfortable he walked in and joined the other kids it was like in the first hour of being there he felt understood and I could see that his voice was going to be heard. Don't get me wrong my son has behavioral issues but I was told it wasn't is autism. The director helped me see what I had forgot bc of being told over and over my son was the problem. Please know that I read some reviews before getting there and was so nervous. But within the first twenty mins of being there I didn't feel so alone anymore. There is still ppl that cares and Turning Point is such a blessing. I thank you all for being such a help and helping me find my voice again so I can be my sons voice. I have been stuck in the never ending cycle of treatment for six years now. I have been to countless places that baby you and coddle you to death and focus on teaching people how to simply think better but never focus on the application of new behavior. Luckily, Liberty Ranch is much more focused on teaching people how to actually act better. If you want to turn your life around for good come to The Liberty Ranch and they will be your best bet to making a life long change. I am a year sober and have found some serenity and joy in life I believe that is in big part due to The Ranch and the people that run it. It is different than your average "cookie cutter" treatment. They deal with the real underlying issues and character defects that keep us in relapse mode. The property is beautiful and there are dogs there for that extra love and support! Highly recommend this place if you are serious about your sobriety.
