Zero stars for me! This is for a friend who I have seen suffer for 5 months with severe back pain. My friend is still in pain and they set up physical therapy and has to wait another 3 months!! Since when do we have to loose our quality of life My friend cant even wipe himself after the BR. I am so so so pissed at the health care system. It makes me cry to see this hospital (VA -Martin Luther King) treat patients this way. They should be advocates for their patients and try a lot harder to help with the patients quality of life!! I myself have been treated badly due to trying to seek help with severe pain. When i seek help for severe pain , I am trying to get help for it not to get pills !! So is my friend trying to get help with his pain NOW not 1 year from now! Really!….Seriously !!Sick sick sick of this!

This place will forever have a special spot in my heart. The employees saved my life every single day for 30 days. The therapists are also something to not overlook, they go WAY above and beyond to educate what's really going on with our minds and body. I've been through 4 recovery centers, two in Kentucky one in California and then this one. I have been to this treatment centers at least 3 times and the e town facility twice. I’ve been to treatment as a controlled environment for this program over 40 times. But for 7 months through an implant in my ear I have had to listen to 2 or 3 people in my ear for 24/7 mostly about my ex boyfriend who the program hired to mess with me as well. Every treatment center and sober living I have been in for 7 years has participated all my so called friends, family, even bf were brought into it. I’m harassed about every trauma or horrible experience they could create or find out about. This was a good place but I hit 4 treatment centers in 4 weeks because they went too far stressing me with the voices in my ear canal as well as the clients and staff they recruited to play games while my thoughts broadcasted to the people around me. For the government to issue whatever for hips to be violated and them to enter a rehab for research grounds or court order is all that could do it. It’s been 17 years of nastiness especially the last 7 years but they hired my bf to leave me and play games with me so the voices in my ear could non stop torture me with him and how he took a job to leave me. The truth is they have had me isolated and single for 17 years and they had to get me lit and him away from me to be able to do this stressed out miserable research on me. So they brought him into the group payed to monitor me to get him away and make me feel miserable and isolated and they make sure I know it was about money from my boyfriend or ex I guess since I get a vague wish washy text ever 2 to 3 days to string me along so they can keep torturing me about him.how much money did it take. Why after I find someone after 17 years did you destroy it? Thanks for your part Stepworks London this was the second fight in 4 centers I had been to in 4 weeks. Crown was playing and Lackey and SouthShore RW in the past 6 weeks this program was even brought into the AA meetings I attended and my Clinicians were up to it too

Not sure how much my advice or concerns would change the way things are done due to years of it being pretty much the same. The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them!

I have been going to this clinic for almost 2 years now back in June 2023 I believe after moving to Kentucky and switching my insurance to get into Suboxone due to me having a opioid addiction problem. I take 20 mg every day in the morning and it gets me through the day to where I am finally free from 2 decades of addiction.
So this morning I went in to be examined by the doctor there. She started asking the usual questions but when I mentioned certain things I at first thought I was misunderstanding her until I realized she treating me as if I was making things up. Like when she asked about surgeries of which I told her I had a whipple procedure back in Ianuary 2018 due to chronic pancreatitis. She asked me what a whipple was acting as if she never heard of it. When she checked my vitals and looks med at my stomach she stated, “I thought you said you had whipple surgery?” Of which I said yeah, of which she cut me off half sentence and said I have no scars of which I pointed to the long scar from the middle of my chest all the way down to my groin area. .
I then after all of that she then tells me that I have been having negative drug screens SINCE OCTOBER! Told me that, “you have not been taking your medicine”. Of which I told her that it is not possible I take every day? Every morning around 7:30 am and she just kept cutting me off and making assumptions and accusations of course I was upset getting mad. This is not the first thing this has happened to me at a treatment center. When I told her it is wrong and doesn’t make sense. Mentioning that Suboxone stays in the system for up.to 14 days, asked her if this has been going on since October (7 MONTHS) then why was I not asked about it from my counselor saying either I am lying or she is not doing her job, which was untrue.
I mentioned to her that false negatives can be caused from various issues as the urine test is not configured properly or correctly to where there is Suboxone but is not sensing it do to it not being set to the right whatever (mind you I made phone calls and read at stuff in the past due to the same junk”, studies have shown that it could be because I have high metabolism that does too much of a job or whatever. When I kept meaning all of these questions she continued to ignore me and go back to me lying. Then told me I cannot have take homes everyday and will have to come in everyday of which I cannot do because currently live in Cincinnati to help my ex wife with her father who has dementia, kidney disease/failure and Congestive Heart Failure/Disease and I do not have the time or the money for daily transportation. Then picked me out of her office and sternly told me to sit outside for my counselor to talk to me of which she was in a meeting I told her and I cannot get wait any longer because I need to get the next bus in the next few minutes before my pass expired on 7:48am. To where I left, sent messages to my counselor of which has not contacted me yet today after this incident. And I still missed the bus and had no way to get transportation to where I just got home on foot from Covington to Finneytown Oh.
I offered and then flat out told her to do a blood test and it should be in there. Unless you are releasing fraudulent medication (which I doubt because it fights and keeps the cravings far away). She refused my request for a blood test and that the tests do not lie or make mistakes like this, but that is not 100% factorial from what I have been read here and there the past few hours.
