I went into the Liberty Ranch for Women completely broken. My kids were being raised by their grandparents, no drivers license (but living out of my car), unemployable, and mad at the world. Staff, graduates, and residents were my light of hope and loved me through it all. They related to me on levels that nobody has ever cared to do before. It wasn't easy to hear that my problems were of my own making, but beyond just telling me where I went wrong they gave me the tools necessary to set things right. I stayed and I listened and the results speak for themselves. I am a single working mother that provides a fun and loving environment for my kids, I sponsor women in recovery that are as broken as I once was, and I have a support group that I can lean on through it all.

I am beyond grateful for the Liberty Ranch and all the staff members that loved me when I didn't even know how to love myself. Thanks to the effort of the staff I found sobriety and happiness in it. I'm blessed for having come here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

This place is extreme however, the circumstances that led me to the ranch.. they were quite extreme, and I would say that this place saved me. At the very least it taught me how to live correctly.

Went to have my blood drawn so I didn't have to drive the hour to Lexington. I was unable to get out so long they canceled the order. The folks at the clinic were amazing, got the order re-input, and helped me while I had a panic attack. My PTSD is very severe, and they did what was best so I could get it done.

I transferred my care from VA Somerset to VA Berea because of convenience. I'm so glad I did! I met with Dr. Bennett for initial patient visit. She took her time going over my medical chart, explained answers I had in great detail. I've always gotten good care at VA Somerset as well as VA Bowling Green, but this care at VA Berea is at the next level!!!👍👍👍

This is an awesome place to go. The staff are AMAZING! Always friendly and listens and very patient and understanding! I recommend highly. The staff and doctor treat me like a human being not just some addict or number. They listen to me, don’t judge, and really care. And If I miss an appointment without calling, they call to check on me and make sure I’m okay. That speaks for itself. I’ve NEVER been to another place that does that, and that says enough. Crossroads has been great! I moved here about 4 years ago and had to transfer and they have been by far the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been going to Crossroads since May 2024. This is NOT just some clinic, they are Family. They truly care about you and how your doing, physically, mentally... this place know's you on a first name basis, my counselor's name is Sam and theirs not enough space to compliment this woman so highly, I told her on such a high pedestal! We relate from her past addictions and she gets me in a way that's soo beautiful and I'm so truly grateful/BLESSED I found this place..... Rhonda in the front, to our amazing lab tech an badA$$ nurses (Jason, Heather, Donna, etc.) Crossroads is the place you need to call if you truly want help with a team that's not going to fail you if your ready to put in work!

I went to the ER on 11/26 with a fluttering in my chest. I have extensive heart history so I do not take chances. As soon as I got there the nurses and doctors were very kind. I'm from NY and the difference couldn't have been more clear. All normal tests I've had were run and they ran a CT scan which was beyond comforting for me. They made me feel comfortable, answered my questions and concerns especially since I'm from out of state traveling alone. The nurse was nice enough to help me get back to my RV after I was discharged by arranging a ride.

LCRH is one of the best hospitals I’ve dealt with. The doctors and nurses are so nice and helpful. I’ve been to the pain clinic, the CT department, surgery, and the ER.
The pain clinic helped change my life as I can lift my arm now. The CT department was quick and patient. The surgery department was super wonderful with all the nurses, doctors, students, etc. I was in and out and felt cared for. The ER was also fast for how busy they were and I felt comfortable and listened to.
The billing department is a mess, but I’ve managed to get that fixed lol.

Literally the best rehab center I’ve ever attended. Had intensive group therapy multiple times a day, and it help me with all my issues. They had a full blown gym, and I made actual brothers there. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE.

I would highly recommend Roaring Brook. The staff here met me where I was at but didn't leave me there. Through the group therapy they shown me the importance of community, through peer support we was able to target flaws in my time management and through the counseling I've been able to recognize and deal with past hurts and learn and understand my emotions. I love this rehab center. From the moment I got here, the staff were super accommodating and helpful with my needs all the way from detox to programming and therapeutic needs. They were friendly and the services were plentiful. The food was great and I love the therapeutic rehabilitative environment they provided. Teaching you the skills you need to give yourself basic skills to enter society again like cooking for yourself, doing basic chores, the classes were easy to comprehend.

I love STEPWORKS in Nicholasville, KY. My therapist was Alaina and she was such an amazing, caring, listener when I needed her. She is highly compassionate and intelligent in her field. She knew everything I needed her for and never let me down. Jen, the Facility Administrator, is such a sweetie. She listened and gave me great advice. The staff is truly emphatic. They have various addiction backgrounds and knew all the right things to say. They gave me advice I will keep with me forever. Duke, the amazing Duke. I will miss that little guy with all my heart. "Puppy!" is such an outgoing ESA dog. He loves everyone he meets and for being 9ish years old is still the king of his castle. He is so loving and a great fit to keep love in the air there. Having Duke there to lend his 4 legged care and compassion makes StepWorks such a loving place. Some might say they wanted to leave or they didn't like being there. Those people didn't finish the program or take it seriously. I wanted to leave numerous times, but after a while it wasn't because of the program, but issues I was having mentally. After talking with the staff and doing the much needed changes to myself mentally, I realized it was me and not them. You have to take the program seriously to benefit from it. You have to follow the rules, be involved with the classes, do your chores appropriately... All to gain what is needed to live the sober life. Don't use the program as a way to have shelter, food, utilities, to meet a lover. You will not gain what you need to keep from being a statistic. Do as your supposed to, and you will leave there a new person and a changed sober person. I did and I'm not looking back. Thank you StepWorks for all you did for me. I'm glad I didn't leave, I'm glad I followed the program and rules, and I know I'll be successful in life when I wouldn't have made it without your help. Love you all!!! Rehab Chick for life!! Amazing facility. The staff are awesome people. I was a mess when I got there and was way less than my best self. The staff gave me grace and space to process without judgement and with respect. They treat you like a person not a child or an inmate. If you need help this is the place to get it. I don't think I would've made it anywhere else.

Upon arrivngl at Lexington Addiction Center(LAC) I was greeted with friendly staff that was awaiting my arrival. At first I was nervous because I was 500 miles away from home and didn't know anyone, but as I started to settle in things got easier. I shared a house with about 10 others that was in recovery just like me. The house was clean and well furnished. I had the opportunity to attend AA meetings 5 times a day which in part helped with my sobriety. My case manager kerstin was very helpful in assisting me with issues that I was going through at home as well as housing and giving me overall information that I needed to secure housing. I can't say enough how LAC has helped me. I appreciate all the staff for assisting me through this journey. If you are thinking about going to LAC please do so with an open mind and ready to get on the road to recovery, this place is really great!

I would encourage anyone who is considering addiction care to come to LAC. Their classes and instructors are amazing, especially Trey! I’m so thankful for my four weeks here and will take the lessons and life lessons with me throughout my life.
