This place is extreme however, the circumstances that led me to the ranch.. they were quite extreme, and I would say that this place saved me. At the very least it taught me how to live correctly.

The property is gorgeous, they have a lake with fish in it, a basketball court and acres of land, the house it’s self is pretty luxurious and they serve good quality home made food. I have been stuck in the never ending cycle of treatment for six years now. I have been to countless places that baby you and coddle you to death and focus on teaching people how to simply think better but never focus on the application of new behavior. Luckily, Liberty Ranch is much more focused on teaching people how to actually act better. If you want to turn your life around for good come to The Liberty Ranch and they will be your best bet to making a life long change. I am a year sober and have found some serenity and joy in life I believe that is in big part due to The Ranch and the people that run it. I would recommend it to anyone needing help for substance abuse and alcoholism.

Liberty Ranch has been the corner stone for my push to long term recovery. It is different than your average "cookie cutter" treatment. They deal with the real underlying issues and character defects that keep us in relapse mode. I originally came here for 30 days and now going on 7 months in this program. I came here from California and have witnessed the benefits of the program working in my life. The property is beautiful and there are dogs there for that extra love and support! Highly recommend this place if you are serious about your sobriety. I am excited to get back to my family and friends. Excited for a start to a whole new life!

This is the best treatment center I have ever been to and I have been to many. Besides the scenic location and the beautiful, clean house, the staff are incredible. They're awesome. They are life savers. Chris Mills (therapist) sets the tone - he ensures that the atmosphere of recovery is maintained. Without that we would all just be 'doing time' there. He is the de facto spiritual leader and I thank God that I have had the oppurtunity to learn from his demonstration. Ashleigh (therapist) has extensive experience of staying clean no matter what and transforming her life into something beautiful. She radiates that. I wish we all would see Rich (administrator) more as he is a spiritual master. Incredibley accessible spiritual wisdom he has. He can make difficult concepts about recovery easily digestible. Chris J (head supervisor) can make even the most desperate addict smile and want to take recovery serious. You cant help but know he understands the worst of the worst and doesnt judge. He just wants us all to recover. The recovery coaches are personable, friendly and funny but also hold us accountable and guide us in our recovery through their own experience. Thank you Ethan, Roger, Dylan, Daryl, Ryan, Noah, Tony, Led, Hunter and Bryant. The medical staff are just as wonderful. Theyre part of the family you become when there. Thank you Andy, Alex, Shane and Ashley. Thank you Biscuit and Suki for being good doggies. I wish I could go back - even sober - so I could learn and practice more in that environment. Any time spent there is a blessing. The nickname is right about this place - "The Miracle on the Hill."

I graduated from this program and went on to the Stepworks sober living and I now have 1 year clean. The therapists are probably the best part about the place, but all of the staff genuinely want to help you. It's in a very secluded place so it's nearly impossible to leave to use. Unlike most other places it's a big mansion with half the people upstairs and half downstairs. I stayed upstairs and the A/C was almost too good in the summer. It probably stayed 62 degrees up there. Would definitely recommend this if you are serious about getting sober.

Literally the best rehab center I’ve ever attended. Had intensive group therapy multiple times a day, and it help me with all my issues. They had a full blown gym, and I made actual brothers there. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE.

Compassionate staff, all of whom are recovering addicts. If you stick and stay for the 11 month program, the statistics against you lessen. I'll be graduating in September. I just hope all the Medicaid cuts won't affect the program

Isaiah house saved me! I was at the Shelley Center during the most difficult times of my life as I had breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on both sides. I hated myself. My appearance seemed awful in my eyes. Shelley Center staff helped me work on fear and they went above and beyond to make sure I loved myself again. They went as far as to buy me my prosthetics so I could start loving myself again and feeling like a normal human being. They're not just an organization, they're a family. I couldn't have made it through the toughest time in my life without their love and support!

They helped me save my life and I found Jesus again while I was there. Highly recommended and forever grateful.

What can I say.. Roaring Brook Recovery has been absolutely instrumental in my journey. This facility and the people in its employ are extraordinarily top notch. They offer help in every aspect that one could possibly need to aid them in their success and the staff are exceptional. They truly do care. The only goal they have and is to help you succeed and to become the best possible version of yourself. And everything that can be done to make that happen will be done with meticulous detail. I’m not sure what else to say. The staff here including the entire treatment team, has taken a personal interest in my development in a way that no other organization ever has. The services here are outstanding, and the curriculum is second to none. It’s rare that you find an organization that LIVES & BREATHES its mission statement, in every single thing that they do. After years of struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder, I now feel more free than ever, and best of all, I have the skills, knowledge, and positive habits to STAY free. A very special thank you to Allison for helping pair me with the best possible program for my SPECIFIC NEEDS; Hacky for making sure I was brought into Roaring Brook with dignity, care, encouragement, and for always being a positive force and a smiling face; Keith for being the best peer support anyone could ask for; Kara the case manager for taking a genuine interest in helping me jump hurdles that I couldn’t jump alone; Hillary for paying attention to my needs and helping tailor my program in a way that’s both best for me and sustainable, and for regularly using my input to affirm these choices; and my therapist Jarrod, who is a psychological wizard and is by for the best mental health and wellness practitioner I have ever encountered. This is my second time at Roaring Brook, and honestly, when I relapsed after two years of sobriety, I refused to go anywhere else. I’m from Michigan, so choosing to come all the way back to Kentucky says a lot about how much I trust this place and the people here. I knew that if I was going to get serious about my recovery again, Roaring Brook was where I wanted to be. Coming back a second time has only reinforced how grateful I am for this program. Relapse was incredibly difficult for me to accept after having two years of sobriety, but Roaring Brook gave me a place where I could be honest about where I was at, work through what happened, and actually focus on rebuilding my recovery instead of feeling judged for it. This time around, I was also able to participate in TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program), and it has made such a huge difference in my recovery. TRP has given me the opportunity to work through traumas that I hadn’t fully dealt with and understand how those experiences have affected me and my recovery. I’ve also learned actual coping skills that I can use when things get difficult instead of turning back to old behaviors. It has been a really important part of my healing and has helped me understand myself on a much deeper level. My experience with my therapist, Jarrod, has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve gotten so much out of treatment. He is genuinely one of the smartest and most thorough therapists I’ve ever worked with. He doesn’t just listen to respond — he really takes the time to understand what I’m saying, asks questions that make me think, and helps me connect the dots in ways I wouldn’t have been able to on my own. I’ve learned so much from working with him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the work he’s done with me. I’m also incredibly grateful for Alison, who manages the sober living I’m in. She is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about the people in the house and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the support, structure, and accountability we need. Having that continued support outside of treatment has made a huge difference for me. What stands out most about Roaring Brook is that I never feel like I’m just another person going through a program. There are people here who genuinely care about my recovery and want to see me succeed. Being willing to travel from Michigan back to Kentucky for treatment, especially after a relapse, was a huge decision, but I know I made the right one. I’ll always be grateful that Roaring Brook was there for me not only the first time I got sober, but also when I needed help finding my way back. Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and I’m thankful to have found a place where I can keep growing, healing, learning, and becoming a better version of myself. I truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

The nicest counselors and work staff I have ever been a part of. Very clean facilities, a great 30 day program that teaches everything u need to know and how to deal with over this time. They do a great job with so little amount of time.

The schwartz center was the second treatment center that I've been to, and despite some of the negative reviews here, I found it to be nothing but love. All of the staff really cares about you and your recovery, like all rehabs there are some. Rules and structure that not all clients will agree with. But it's just how it goes, they are very simple. Rules. They feed you well while there too. And the case manager is amazing, she helped me out big time with some court stuff that I was dealing with. It's also a smaller more intimate setting. Not one of these massive rehabs where you can't learn anything or get individualized treatment from a therapist. Definitely recommend the team at Schwartz if you're wanting to better your life
