Isaiah house saved me! I was at the Shelley Center during the most difficult times of my life as I had breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on both sides. I hated myself. My appearance seemed awful in my eyes. Shelley Center staff helped me work on fear and they went above and beyond to make sure I loved myself again. They went as far as to buy me my prosthetics so I could start loving myself again and feeling like a normal human being. They're not just an organization, they're a family. I couldn't have made it through the toughest time in my life without their love and support!

I came to Isaiah House main campus in July of 2024 hurt, broken and totally at the end of the road. I have used alcohol and drugs the past 45 years of my life trying to stop on my own lots of times but couldn't do it. When I walked through the doors I was amazed by the staff how they welcomed me. Now 8 months later after they literally loved me back to life I am proud to say that I am sober which my family thought would be impossible and very proud to be a staff member and will graduate in June of the long term program. I found God there which I had never had in my life and the tools they gave me and God's blessings I am alive now and the happiest that I have ever been in my life. If you are struggling as I was I would recommend you call Isaiah House and let us change your life like they have mine.

I am in the IOP program and and have less than two weeks left. I also live in one of their transitional homes. I am so grateful for the structure they provide in my journey after completing a residential program.. Their morning meditations (led by our peer support😁 ) started each day with inspiration and our IOP classes (ran by our therapist, Ms. Jenni 💕) unpacks meaning, significance, and practical applications that I needed in order to cultivate new behaviors that has strengthened me to have the confidence to stay sober. Without Spero heath I would not be able to share these pictures of memories I’ll always have. Truth is I would be just another statistic dead due to overdose! They have taught me how to live again, love myself, and become a productive member of society. With the medication along with the groups and counseling and support from their human resource team. I’ve been able to get back on my feet and any bumps in the road they are always their the help me figure it out.With the groups and counseling have helped me reprogram my brain into a healthier mindset to deal with everyday life situations with out turning to drugs. It doesn’t happen overnight it has taken me years to get where I am, but it works, and that’s why I’ve always came back. I know what I can be using this life changing program. I know where I would b if I didn’t come back and keep trying. I know I would not have been able to help my daughter get ready for prom, be here to take pictures with my kids on Mother’s Day and for that I’m so grateful to the team that I’ve worked with at Spero heath all these years. They have made me who I am today! I have no words but thankful they never gave up on me, no amount of money could buy what they gave back to me. Thank u ! Lexington group, Sean, Abby, Hailey. Just a heads up.This is NOT AA or N/A. Or anything like it. Stephanie and Emily are a dynamic duo for the Bluegrass. I gained more clarity in this small unique class then I ever had in N/A or AA. I went here a couple of years ago now and thought I had left a review. The mens house was a beautiful house in what seemed like a very nice neighborhood. Had plenty of space and nice chill area in the back yard. The groups were good and was able to have some fun with them. The house manager Denny I believe his name was, was absolutely incredible. He lived the sober life to the fullest and was a phenomenal example of the steps needed to stay sober. Would highly recommend for PHP services.

I have never been more grateful for a program, such as this. I came into y’all‘s program October 2024 and I graduated March 2025 I signed up to continue aftercare and go to serenity. I done what was needed to continue my care and I moved into the apartment October of this year. You guys had gave me the tools that I have needed to be able to succeed in my recovery. Because of you guys, I have custody of my son and I am mending relationships with My Other three kids . I was so stressed about Christmas as my son was picked by Angel Tree and I only got one present and I didn’t have the money to be able to provide for My Other three. And last minute you guys came through with more than what I needed. I am so grateful for you guys if you are struggling and you want custody of your children this is the place to go. They have awesome staff members and therapists, and I believe in my heart if I would’ve went anywhere else things wouldn’t have turned out the way they have for me today and today I’m stable. I am in my own home with my son. I have a job and I’m learning to live like a normal human being.

Brightview offers a alternative to opioid dependency! They have amazing staff an don't pass judgement. They don't criticize you if you fall down an will stand beside you to help you get back up. They offer help with resources an have counselors to guide you. Their doctors really listen to you an medicate you as you need. There is no longer a long wait to get your medication. You can be in an out quickly now. They was very understanding when my insurance got messed up through my job an I had no way to pay for my medication. They still gave me my medication for several days until I fixed my insurance. Brightview isn't just a clinic it's a support team!

If you want a place to start your recovery journey, this is it. There is no room for the nonsense you will find at other 30 day inpatient facilities. All the staff will help you succeed in any way they can, setting you up for longer term treatment in there sober living program. I have been to other treatments in the past but Ethan health is by far the best. They check all boxes you are looking for in a recovery journey. I owe them for where my life is heading today.

I have some issues with primary care since I was onboarded to a new primary care doctor in 2021. However, the rest of the hospital has been beyond exceptional. During covid in 2022, I spent two weeks recovering in the Lex VA hospital and really got to see exceptional care. Last year I spent a total of a month (two weeks each time) in the Lex VA hospital and was reminded why I stay in the Lex VA region. From nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physical rehabilitation, nutritionist and everyone that took care of me on a daily basis showed beyond exceptional care. Ive been through a few VA care systems. Some were... dangerous for patient care and you felt that going in. Ive never felt uncared for or like I was in a truly dangerous situation out of my control at the Lex VA.
