For those who are hurting, in darkness, lost- there is Hope. I recently completed their Long Term Treatment Program for alcoholism, drug addiction, and mental health disease. I realize today, God spared my "life", for Revive Ministries to help rebuild it! My wife, children, and family relationships are restored too! Through a belief in God, willingness, honesty about myself, and an open-mind to try something new, I am sober today! I am grateful for: the founders, the medical team, clinicians and counseling, those behind the scene at 800, case managers, shift supervisors, group peer support, kitchen/cook staff, facilities and dorms crew, Biblical principles, the program material, structured activities, and recovery tools, access to resources, God's Pantry, Manna Meals, Fatherhood Initiative, SH R.C.C. and outside recovery meetings, Common Ground Resource Center, New Dawn Counseling Services, and above all, Jesus for the Cross, and God's love, mercy, and grace.

I am in the IOP program and and have less than two weeks left. I also live in one of their transitional homes. I am so grateful for the structure they provide in my journey after completing a residential program.. Their morning meditations (led by our peer support😁 ) started each day with inspiration and our IOP classes (ran by our therapist, Ms. Jenni 💕) unpacks meaning, significance, and practical applications that I needed in order to cultivate new behaviors that has strengthened me to have the confidence to stay sober. I am so grateful for God putting these people in my life! Just a heads up.This is NOT AA or N/A. Or anything like it. Stephanie and Emily are a dynamic duo for the Bluegrass. I gained more clarity in this small unique class then I ever had in N/A or AA. Ms. Emily being the instructor is divinely sweet. She’s lived through a lot and has a lot to share. I’ll never forget this class. Thank you ladies very much.

Bluegrass Counseling Services, where should I start. What a well run counseling center with some of the best most friendly, dedicated, compassionate counselors I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Stephanie went above and beyond to help me with a class I had to make-up on short notice at another facility. This issue was soully caused by me, but Stephanie helped expedite the paperwork process on her own time to meet my needs. Emily was my counselor for my classes. She is great at was she does and this not only comes from personal experience but from the compassion she has for helping others! She is a very personable person that made me want to go to class. Bob thank you for adjusting your schedule to help me with my paperwork! I would highly recommend Bluegrass Counseling Services to anyone looking for a well run facility with a great group of people. In early August of this year (225), I was one of the rare patients to have bilateral total knee replacement at Ephraim McDowell. With so many low ratings and negative reviews, I was concerned about having it there. However, it is where the surgeon works and it is close to home. The bottom line is that this was by far the most outstanding hospital experience I have ever had for myself or by others such as family and friends that I have seen! They were great in every way: - Communication: a couple weeks prior to the procedure, they had me and my wife attend a class where they reviewed every aspect of what to expect before, during and after surgery. They provided a binder with all of that and more. At the hospital, they continually kept me and my family informed of throughout the experience. - Professionalism: I was brought back as scheduled, delt with respectfully and politely yet with the personalness I have come to expect and enjoy in Danville. - Responsiveness: After I was admitted following surgery, any and every time I pressed the call button, a nurse or tech would either immediately respond over the intercom and/or come into the room within literally a few minutes. They took care of my needs with kindness and compassion. They were truly a pleasure to deal with! - Cleanliness/hygiene: This is my area of expertise. I am recently retired, but my profession included assessing hospitals for regulatory compliance as well as performing to industry standards as it relates to cleaning and hand hygiene for infection prevention. Ephraim McDowell would have certainly received my highest score! It is as clean as any hospital I have ever seen, including restrooms, non-public areas, the operating suites and patient rooms. I watched a few of the Environmental Services techs as they cleaned. The products and procedures they used were excellent! - Results: The surgery was a total success and now that a few months have passed, I am mostly recovered and enjoying the benefits of my new knees! The surgeon, Dr. Jeremy Tarter, was awesome, couldn't have been better! The PT I received from Ephraim McDowell Home Health and at the McDowell Center was excellent and effective. I know my experience was better than so many others that left negative reviews, so they must have improved since those were posted. I am totally grateful for how outstanding everyone at Ephraim McDowell was in making sure my surgery went well and my experience was positive!

I was taken here when I had my heart attack the ER was packed. The Doctors and Nurses in the ER did a great job. The team that put my stents together in made me feel like I was going to be ok and opened back up my 100% blocked artery. I had to stay 2 days in ICU the nurses were so nice and supportive really made me feel safe. Now the reason I didn’t give 5 stars the food was awful everything was cold that was supposed to be hot was was ment to be cold was Luke warm

Nick is awesome! He has went above and beyond to help me! I went to see him for some classes and ended up coming back for counseling! He helped me through a really bad time in my life and I am a much much better person now and have the life I always knew I could. I highly recommend going to see him if you are struggling or just need a friendly person to talk with.
