I loved my experience, you need to realize it is a treatment center and no matter how nice it's a hard thing to do but rac is an amazing treatment facility and the staff from the techs to the case managers to the therapists really do care. Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

I have read the reviews and here's mine. I have been at CBH/BHG for 7 years now and without them I would not be here. I honestly believe this. I started when CBH was a stand alone company and have stayed thru the merger. So, with anything there are things that I like and don't like. However, for me this is what works and the people I deal with once every 2 weeks are wonderful and caring. I've never (knock on wood) had any issues with my drug screens and the one time my kidneys weren't working properly and I lost my take homes for 2 months was strictly so they could monitor the way my body was melatbolising the methadone so I didn't go into withdrawal or anything like that. Every nurse, DR, and staff member have always given me and my husband (been going for 9 yrs) anything we've asked for with our records and have been super supportive. Just last week, we were told by not 1 but 3 different employees that 1 person went to bat for me about what they said was an unpaid balance on my account saying they knew we would either pay it or it was a mistake because I always pay whatever I am told. Due to this the director took the unpaid amount off my acct because of this amazing woman fighting for me. I understand that yes they are corporate owned but if u have made up ur mind to lay down the life that brought u here all u have to do is the work they ask u to do and that's it. I go in, dose, get my 2 week take homes and leave. Once a month, I speak to my counselor and once a month I do my drug screen (which is either urine or mouth swab). I was on drugs for 20 yrs and I knew when I started I would be taking this slowly so I didn't relapse, but that's on me not them. They ask me all the time, if I want to taper and I tell them the same thing. I will when I'm ready! This clinic has given me the help I needed to work a full-time job that I love and be the wife and mother that my husband and children deserve. So, if u chose to go here, give it a chance! If this one isn't for you, try another one that offers the same thing but services that might work better for u.Good Luck, God Bless and please if finally get to that "enoughs enough" point, get help but make sure you're ready to lay it all down when u walk thru the door.

Have been a patient at Crossroads since July 2019... When I first started there the lady that ran the place didn't know what she was doing and most of the time you had to wait. Then after going there about 6 months the wait times to get dosed was really ridiculous, 2, 3 + hours to dose. Well Now there is someone new running the place for a few years now. He cares about the facility and the patients. The waits times are way down, reasonable wait times, the staff there now is more friendly and the place has been completely remodeled. Looks more like A professional Healthcare facility. The people there treat you like everyone should be treated and not like your just a nobody because you are or were an addict. I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for Crossroads and the staff there. I'm very grateful for the help they've given me to turn my life around and have 5 years Sobriety today because they are here helping me to stay on the Path of Sobriety.

Honestly when I walked in this place I thought it was gonna be like the multiple other places I've been. And as I expected the 1st communication was with my 1st therapist who didn't work for me. The office manager Megan immediately got me switched over to another therapist who is better. Megan has gone above and beyond for myself and multiple other people that I have spoke with since starting there in April. I also would like to say that the lab technician Desiree is always a bright spot in my day when I come in. And finally the doctor Chris has been always willing to listen when needed and speak wisdom to me when neededOver all I would recommend this place to anyone who is completely ready to live a better life and have the support necessary to achieve this.

I was inpatient for 2 weeks and in those 2 weeks they helped me go from hopeless to actually feeling good about life. Most the staff on the unit I was on was very nice and caring. The food was decent & I was scared at first but I m glad I went. Only complaint I have is they were short staffed sometimes.

The Brook on LaGrange Road is the only psychiatric inpatient facility that I would recommend. The staff and facilities are safe and provided me with a place to avoid harming myself. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are not quite up to date regarding considerations for the LGBTQ community and trauma informed care. They do seem to be moving in the right direction though.

The people here do their best. I love them to death and couldn't have gotten this far without them. I'll always be grateful for their support and kindness.The group homes were stuffy during the pandemic but not awful.Their Pre-IL program is well managed but has lost a few amazing staff lately. While the effects on the program are mostly unknown to me I do know that these staff have moved on to bigger and better things and new people have stepped up.To any kid going in, keep your head on your shoulders. You don't have to like it for it to be safe. If you don't feel safe, make sure ALL the staff know.To anyone else, be compassionate. People can be rough around the edges but most the people I met here where pretty cool.

This could be the best place in town for people who need help adjusting themselves to live after incarceration. The staff are very genuine and loving with all the people no matter their condition, their priority is providing help. This center is faith-based which is very useful too.
