I had the best experience at turning point center! The techs, nurses, therapists and case managers REALLY care! I have to give a special shout out to the techs that really took time to pour into each client individually. The food is great and if you come there with just the clothes on your back they will make sure you have everything you need and more. NA/AA meetings are brought into the facility multiple times a week and you are given the option to go to an outside meeting every week day after lunch. It’s a smaller facility so I felt like I was taken care of and beyond! The staff truly cares! Thanks for an AMAZING experience!

So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don’t want to truly get clean it’ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that’s not true. I didn’t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. It was a safe healing place and if you’re needing help this is the place to go ❤️🩹

Sunrise PHP and IOP were both really big helps in my recovery it taught me a lot and they helped me get through a lot with the questions I had they were always there to help me and answer my questions no matter how stupid I felt they were they're a great place and I would recommend them to anybody the staff is awesome and I really miss them and I'm going to have to stop in whenever I get a chance and say hi

I would recommend Wellstone in a heartbeat. The management doesn't seem to be the best, if I'm being honest, but the social workers, nurses, and techs genuinely care and are there to help their patients anyway they can. I always felt heard, respected, and validated (and as a member of the trans community, we are not always afforded these courtesies, even in healthcare). Their team that handles crises were incredible at de-escalating tense situations. The food was surprisingly good most of the time. Much love to the other patients who helped me while I was there. Much love and respect to my doctor and the staff who helped me: Voss, Tina, Abby, Mary-Margaret, Julie, Seth, Felix, Sam, Lexi, Grace, Caitlyn, James, KP, Will, Dahkota (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and all the folks whose names I didn't catch but who I'm so very grateful for. I see Tiffany at the Jeffersonville location. I felt like I was stuck, a bunch of old feelings and my past finally flowing out of me after 30 years. I was desperate to find a therapist that actually listened and could see me and my pain and help me grow. I was going on two years having a meltdown I finally got a call from their office and met her and after 4 sessions.. really after the second I finally had hope. Saw myself actually having a future. In my recovery journey I haven’t found a better facility than this. From massages, haircuts, a full gym, round the clock staff, and great food. I felt my needs were more than met and exceeded. Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

I enjoyed the virtual IOP treatment more than I thought I would. It worked well with my work schedule and I got to be comfortable at home as well as being comfortable in the group. I was able to connect and exchange information with my peers and expand my recover/Sobriety network!

LAC was great. I participated in the evening groups through zoom, which I originally had reservations about. Even though the meetings were online, they were still very engaging, informative, and personal. The therapist and case manager were incredible. They were both very authentic and supportive, and they were easily available when we needed them. I am very appreciative and grateful for this program.

I believe that this place offers a great service to the Louisville Community. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. And I think it's great that they were able to open their new and bigger facility recently. That just means they are able to help more people.

I had been at another treatment facility for years. I felt like I was just another invoice. Policies constantly changing, no support or compassion. I felt the difference the first time I called Crossroads and Josh answered. I felt heard and welcomed. I’m so happy I made the change to Crossroads Treatment facility. From the time I walk through the door and saw Alexis’ smiling bright face, to Josh’s open and caring personality. CJ and Renee are amazing and never look or talk down to me. Craig always speaks and has a smile. I never have felt less than or felt like I was being judged for being an addict. I appreciate the care and support I receive from Crossroads staff. I've been listed, among the homeless, since 2006. The Healing Place, from when it was on Broadway, always made space for us, the homeless. I will have 20yrs, among the homeless, 2026, & I, continue, to be blessed by the discipline, & "No B.S.!" practices.
Some, among the homeless, seem to struggle with what The Healing Place helps - anyone, in need, get away from, yet, it's up to an individual to sign-up.
On the other hand, I'm struggling to keep what, little income I'm allowed to have, as housing wants a percentage - no matter how small, & I can't afford any housing agreement.
The Healing Place give us space to figure things out...in a safe space. Thank you. 🙏🏿☺️
