They did not tell me to write this specifically however the staff watched as I typed. I was given a phone to place a review on their page as part of my discharge. EVERY client is asked to do this as it exponentially increases their chances of good reviews and gives them digital visibility (very clever). It’s definitely the nicest rehab in KY but when I needed help the most…) BEWARE unless you pay 30k or have commercial insurance you cannot be seen. No riff raff allowed. If you want to get sober go to the Healing Place. They allow mental health meds and MAT now if you need it. There are varying program lengths and housing options depending on your situation. They will love you back to life and you can gain humility! (Core principle of a 12 step program they teach.) The healing place is free and I know many people lost their coverage this year due to the political climate. I would not recommend RAC. KY has some great treatment centers and 99.9% of the time treatment AND sober living is necessary but treatment doesn’t keep you sober. Nor will a 30k massage and great kitchen staff - which they are - if you are gonna drop that much money I would go to Cumberland Heights or the Bluffs. QUALITY healthcare services should be accessible to everyone. Not just the rich and you shouldn’t have to go into debt. This is life and unfortunately death. But hey, what do I know? The pharmacy has been most helpful. Community Services has been very responsive. When you walk down the hallway at Rex VA. Your brothers and sisters always are kind.
