My dad goes there, and i couldn't ask for better doctors for him. The facilities are nice and clean, and my Dad loves his doctors there. We travel an hour to get there and they are usually always right on time! He is 75 and they treat him with the utmost respect! I have started going to this treatment place about 2 months ago and I was a addict for 4 years I’m 19 and pregnant with my 2nd baby and this place has helped me get my soberity and find my life back I’m not to far out on my journey but I know they have helped me tremendously Im not yet on a stable dose but of course it takes time to get there also me being pregnant effects the dosing but other then that this place saved me ! LAC was great. I participated in the evening groups through zoom, which I originally had reservations about. Even though the meetings were online, they were still very engaging, informative, and personal. The therapist and case manager were incredible. They were both very authentic and supportive, and they were easily available when we needed them. I am very appreciative and grateful for this program.

I had been at another treatment facility for years. I felt like I was just another invoice. Policies constantly changing, no support or compassion. I felt the difference the first time I called Crossroads and Josh answered. I felt heard and welcomed. I’m so happy I made the change to Crossroads Treatment facility. From the time I walk through the door and saw Alexis’ smiling bright face, to Josh’s open and caring personality. CJ and Renee are amazing and never look or talk down to me. Disorganized, inconsistent, services between teams make it a confusing, mess of a place to deal with, when you have complex issues, or need specialty care.
Each team has is own policies on if, how, or when they do reminders. Some use texts like they all should, but some only send letters, and none of them update the va apps like the Chicago system did, so you don't get to even see where your appointment is, or what it might even be that day, unless you kept that piece of paper.
They have a ridiculous system where some clinics will not allow you to setup an appointment with the people at the desk of that clinic, and you have to call it in to an appointment line, which may need you to wait for days to do it. This is specific to this system and not VA wide. It's an awful additional burden on the patient for a terrible system.
The lack of services that are available in the hospital is terrible. Waiting in line after line after line to get approved for community care for specialists, when you just transferred from one system to another is ridiculous. I couldn't see a mental health professional for three months, unless I wanted to wait several months between appointments as well.
You can't get scheduled, you have to wait in line after line, and many of the specialists are incompetent that won't even read your file. It's an unsafe, over crowded facility.
