The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them! From the counsel you get to the ladies in the dosing room they’re all grade A ladies. They always greet you with a smile and a “how are you”. They never make you feel like a number. We all became close as we were being cared for and introduced to recovery and safety from drugs and alcohol and the outside conditions we were experiencing. They have a fantastic receptionist named Lee Anne who is super friendly and who goes out of her way to help clients. I also want to make a shout-out to their friendly phlebotomist "Sunshine" who is always smiling, their friendly transportation drivers, their wonderful kitchen crew, and their peer support staff! My only complaints are being given a 50mg prescription pill when my prescription was actually for 12.5mg daily, a dangerous mistake by one of their nurses (some of whom are traveling nurses from locations such as Indiana), and receiving a potentially false diagnosis from blood work that had to be repeated and still ended with conflicting medical interpretations. The nurse practitioner Tammy, for example, said no, but one of the nurses, Emma, said yes. Do I have it, or don't I?! This facility would get a perfect score if some of its medical team were competent and ethical. Otherwise, an excellent place!!! Ronald C. They did not tell me to write this specifically however the staff watched as I typed. I was given a phone to place a review on their page as part of my discharge. EVERY client is asked to do this as it exponentially increases their chances of good reviews and gives them digital visibility (very clever). It’s definitely the nicest rehab in KY but when I needed help the most…) BEWARE unless you pay 30k or have commercial insurance you cannot be seen. No riff raff allowed. If you want to get sober go to the Healing Place. They allow mental health meds and MAT now if you need it. There are varying program lengths and housing options depending on your situation. They will love you back to life and you can gain humility! (Core principle of a 12 step program they teach.) The healing place is free and I know many people lost their coverage this year due to the political climate. I would not recommend RAC. KY has some great treatment centers and 99.9% of the time treatment AND sober living is necessary but treatment doesn’t keep you sober. Nor will a 30k massage and great kitchen staff - which they are - if you are gonna drop that much money I would go to Cumberland Heights or the Bluffs. QUALITY healthcare services should be accessible to everyone. Not just the rich and you shouldn’t have to go into debt. This is life and unfortunately death. But hey, what do I know?
