In my recovery journey I haven’t found a better facility than this. From massages, haircuts, a full gym, round the clock staff, and great food. I felt my needs were more than met and exceeded. If you want to be sober and don’t want to be surrounded by the typical Medicaid crowd, this is the place to start!

I came through this facility twice. Back in 2022 I did 28 days when that was still apart of the program and completed. I came back Jan 8th, 2023 with the intentions of leaving the next day to go to a sober living because of transportation issues the day before and had no where to go. The staff greeted me with open arms and convinced me that I was right where God intended for me to be, not to mention I had a warrant. Within a week, the case department got my warrant revoked and got me back on the docket with a new court date. So I decided to do the short term again. After a couple of weeks, my brothers in the program had me really take a look at what God was doing for me and how far id come in such a short time and convinced me to sign up for long term. Life finally started to look up for me at this point. I trudged thru, learned to life skills on how to stay sober, and made some life long friends. Now... I get to give back to the program who gave some much to me. Im at their Chaplin Facility working House Management as Lead 2nd Shift Client Support. But God...

Stepworks on Woodland Drive, their amazing staff, who you know from the moment you walk in and they look into your eyes, they care and already love you. The administrator Kassie, well you'd never know she was the head honcho because she is one of us and never looks down on you, she is the life of the whole place. Rockin' Robin the therapist will leave you with your jaw on the ground and laughing.
I owe these people, this place and their program my life. I do recommend this place to fellow addicts who are unfortunately still in the madness daily!

I was nervous at first but realized how many wonderful clients there was. everyone was so kind even though our circumstances were what they were. We all became close as we were being cared for and introduced to recovery and safety from drugs and alcohol and the outside conditions we were experiencing. The staff was so attentive and helpful and were always on time with our treatment and medical needs. Each specialist and therapist and nurse became a comfort and a friend of mine . I recommend this facility as the best short term residential treatment program.

Wish I had never left the lighthouse. This place was helping me become a better me. After leaving this program I ended up at a program called '' On Eagles Wings'' were that's all they do there is get high. Wish I had called my sponsor first.

I'm grateful to have been part of this spring door program. If you're looking for a place to heal and recover and be sober then I would suggest the lighthouse to anyone who wants to change in a positive direction. It has changed my life for the best. I'm greatful to have graduated from the lighthouse and have God I'm my life today. My goals are to help others in their recovery and build a firm relationship with God.
