I was sent to the Hope Center in 2019 and completed phase 1. The hope center helped me find my way and the love of my life. We are still clean today

OLS changed my life in my journey of recovery. I have stayed successfully sober through attending this program since attending. Ryan/Kirista was my Peer supports, absolute WONDERFUL human beings who I have learned so much from, and even after leaving, I still feel supported. I will always recommend OLS to others in my community!

I am in the IOP program and and have less than two weeks left. I also live in one of their transitional homes. I am so grateful for the structure they provide in my journey after completing a residential program.. Their morning meditations (led by our peer support😁 ) started each day with inspiration and our IOP classes (ran by our therapist, Ms. Jenni 💕) unpacks meaning, significance, and practical applications that I needed in order to cultivate new behaviors that has strengthened me to have the confidence to stay sober. I am so grateful for God putting these people in my life! IOP has made me love myself and become more self aware (strengths and weaknesses)which helps me make better choices for a happier life for me and my family. Evy

Outstanding medical care for veterans.

Idk much about the main Center there other than my dad has been several many times. But I have been to the Geriatric/Nursing Home, Extended Care part of the campus. I have to agree with some other reviews that it was a little difficult trying to place someone there for care but sometimes thats to be expected. What I can say is that the staff at that facility are absolutely WONDERFUL!! My poor papaw has dementia and alot of health issues. We are so BLESSED to be able to have him there at that facility on the Leestown Rd Campus. They are so patient with him and literally treat him as if he was their papaw. I definitely believe that our Military should be given the BEST OF BEST care. Not just medically but all around. And maybe civilians are fortunate that they dont understand what soldier does and experiences. & the family that expereiences life alongside and supports their soldier. Its a different life. Hard life. But a blessed life! And I truly feel the ladies that care for my papaw understand that. Idk if they have any military history or not. But either way the compassion is beautiful. Like they emphasize. I couldn't ask for a better place or better care for him. I'd recommend this facility over and over. Thanks for being so great up there!!

Update: I'd like to take a minute and address some of the people posting negative reviews and belittling The V.A. as a whole. I understand putting a negative comment about negative interaction you may have had, but it only seems fair that if you are going to talk as negatively as some as you have done, you should be more specific with the department you have had a bad interaction with. I've been going to the Lexington, Ky V.A. for over twenty years and have had a few minor problems but they were quickly addressed and I was contacted by the V.A. and was able to let my problem be known. It's not fair or appropriate to hold the whole Institution In a negative light for the actions of a few. I also know multiple veterans that would give this V.A. a five star rating. Ages ranging from the Vietnam Era to modern day veterans. No Institution is perfect no matter government ran or the private sector. The staff work very hard to give the Veterans the highest standard of care they possibly can. I know some of you will find this comment not to line up with your view but im only going on my interaction and as I said many other veterans interaction with the Lexington, Ky V.A. Do better as you write your reviews by being specific about your interactions and not just say " they suck or they're stupid, like I've seen in the reviews. Another thing don't try and speak for all veterans because the negative reviews your leave about the V.A., you are the minority believe it or not. Just speak on your care and not everybody else's. Im not calling anyone a liar or challenging your review, but I am asking you to do better with your reviews as I referenced before. Thanks to all my veteran brethren and sisters. I love you all. Thanks V.A. for all that you do and have done for the Veterans. My mental health and primary care teams do right by me. They always treat me with the upmost respect. Just did a sleep study and the individuals on duty were polite and very helpful.

Without Spero heath I would not be able to share these pictures of memories I’ll always have. Truth is I would be just another statistic dead due to overdose! They have taught me how to live again, love myself, and become a productive member of society. With the medication along with the groups and counseling and support from their human resource team. I’ve been able to get back on my feet and any bumps in the road they are always their the help me figure it out.With the groups and counseling have helped me reprogram my brain into a healthier mindset to deal with everyday life situations with out turning to drugs. It doesn’t happen overnight it has taken me years to get where I am, but it works, and that’s why I’ve always came back. I know what I can be using this life changing program. I know where I would b if I didn’t come back and keep trying. I know I would not have been able to help my daughter get ready for prom, be here to take pictures with my kids on Mother’s Day and for that I’m so grateful to the team that I’ve worked with at Spero heath all these years. They have made me who I am today! I have no words but thankful they never gave up on me, no amount of money could buy what they gave back to me. Thank u ! Lexington group, Sean, Abby, Hailey. 2nd Chance Clinic is, by far, the best experience I have ever had during my tumultuous recovery journey. The doctors, nurses, and staff are truly caring, compassionate, and make patient care their top priority. The Medication Assisted Treatment (MRT) program at 2nd Chance is hassle-free, convenient and completely intuitive for new patients to navigate. My only complaint here is that I wish I could rate 10 stars versus 5. For those in treatment who are contemplating a change, or for those seeking out a treatment program for the first time. I highly recommend 2nd Chance Clinics. Godspeed on your recovery journey.

I've been coming here a little over a year now. I was first referred here after leaving a clinic I had gone to for 7 years. I couldn't find another doctor in my town qualified to treat me. Dr. Howard agreed to take me as a patient. I'm so glad he did! He is without a doubt the best doctor I've seen in this journey I've been on for over 10 years. He is very smart and can always explain any medical problem I'm having to me better than the actual doctor I'm seeing. For instance, I've had to see a hematologist. I always talk to Dr. Howard and let him know when I see a specialist or need a procedure of any kind done. He is great about answering questions I have and can explain why the doctors say what they do or why they want a procedure done. He listens, he's professional, smart and good at what he does. I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe leaving my previous clinic of 7 years and ending up here was supposed to happen. My counselor, Jodi, is also great! She is kind and caring. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave, every single staff member here treats you good. You won't find a better place and I've been to a few. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Howard! Thanks to everyone that works here for making the last year a smooth transition for me.

I started coming here a month ago and I absolutely love it. The front desk ladies are amazing and easy to talk to. My therapist is awesome ( I don’t want to put his name here without permission, I will edit if he says yes). I am 37 y/o and I have never been to therapy until now. I would not want to be anywhere else for my first ever therapy experience , especially with my situation.

Bluegrass Counseling Services, where should I start. What a well run counseling center with some of the best most friendly, dedicated, compassionate counselors I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Stephanie went above and beyond to help me with a class I had to make-up on short notice at another facility. This issue was soully caused by me, but Stephanie helped expedite the paperwork process on her own time to meet my needs. Emily was my counselor for my classes. She is great at was she does and this not only comes from personal experience but from the compassion she has for helping others! She is a very personable person that made me want to go to class. Bob thank you for adjusting your schedule to help me with my paperwork! I would highly recommend Bluegrass Counseling Services to anyone looking for a well run facility with a great group of people. Best hospital I have ever stayed. Food was magnificent and so was staff.

This was my sixth hospitalization in the past year, so obviously my health is bad and I'm becoming experienced with being in hospitals. I was treated very well here by doctors and nurses and techs. Being admitted and discharged was probably the smoothest experiences I've had. And they didn't make my wife mad, that goes a long ways 😂

Recently had surgery there. Was on the 6th floor after surgery. . Had the best patient care i have ever had at any hospital. Would recommend fully! Every aspect of my stay was top-notch! Thank you!

At the beginning of this process, I searched and searched for places where I thought I had an opportunity to improve, for me no place was going to be able to change my mentality and help me. I entered this place with a lot of mistrust, and I am surprised at how much this place has changed my life!! It's fantastic, and I love it!

My husband has been detained and I don't fully understand why. I don't understand how any of this works however I want to give Officer McClain the best review for being so kind to me when I drove to the detention center today.
