This is a great rehab! They have a chef that prepares every meal. They have 3 client care team members. They have 4 or 5 in-house therapists They have 2 case managers and the directors are often on-site and encourage you to knock on their doors if you have a problem and feel like it's not being addressed fairly. They have a pond you can fish in and they will provide you with fishing supplies, they have 3 xboxs with Xbox live, they have a kitchen open 24 7 and restocked multiple times within 24 hours with a fridge they keep loaded of name brand snacks. PS If you get it approved before coming to the facility they can make a note to let you make a 10 minute phone call every day too! But you got to get it approved before arriving! All the Employees and Managers are very nice and Friendly People who work at Rivervalley Behavioral Health. Hospital is amazing! They took great care of me and brought me back to being healthy. They made my wishes come true! I recommend this hospital to those who are struggling in life!
Update: there were volunteers that were hired that were abusive towards me, I would get aggressive back. I think that there should be measures to protect future patients as well as when I stay there next time. I just want to bring this up so that future visits can be as good as the previous ones.

I didnt like my therapist at first, she talked to me more as a mental issue then a person, but I ended up transfering to a different therapist because my old one got a promotion and shes the nicest person ever, we actually bond over common intrest rather then just talking about my mental heath and what's going on in my life and I find her very fun and easy to talk to.

The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. I personally appreciate the VA program at the healing place immensely, and have been fortunate enough to have received their assistance in the past. One day at a time…

I learned how to set boundaries and say no without feeling weird. They helped me prep to go back to school too. Food was decent and the space felt safe. Im no stranger to recovery centers. This is by far the most caring and amazing place in the state of Kentucky, I’ve watched these professionals bring the dead back to life. True miracle workers!!!!

I was a patient here a couple years ago and without Stepworks helping me help myself, the staff and therapists working with me I wouldn't be the women I am today. I have rekindle relationships with my family and children. I have regained my confidence. The compassion and sympathy they showed me has allowed me to bestow that onto others and most importantly patients that are currently patients at the Stepworks of Woodland facility. I now am a member of the team that helped me save my life from a life of addiction.
