I have decided that St Joseph’s ER’s sole purpose is to get you to avoid coming to the ER. I went there at the end of Oct with my first ever severe asthma flare up so I did not understand my symptoms. Yes, I received the proper tests. And one breathing treatment but my breathing was still not good at all. Discharged with instructions to see PCP. Didn’t sound right so I called my pulmonary Dr (I have her for sleep apnea). Got in the next day to be told I am in a severe asthma flare up and really should be admitted to the hospital. Less than a month later, I was back with same symptoms (came on suddenly and had not been able to get into my pulmonary or pcp yet). I was give tests, refused breathing treatment because I was not wheezing and my O2 stats were fine (which this was the same case in October). Told me it was my hyperthyroidism that was causing it. Stop steroids and avoid my inhaler as it is aggravating my symptoms of the hyperthyroidism. And go to my pcp. My pcp told me the ER Dr has no idea what he is talking about. It is definitely my asthma and to KEEP taking my asthma meds. I really do not think I will ever return to St Joseph’s. I want to be treated with respect not treated like I am wasting their time and space with my fake breathing issues.

I have never been in therapy and I have been here for about a month now. I get excited for my next visit. Heather is such a sweet and caring woman and she can really put a smile on your face. The receptionist's I don't want to misspell her name. She is always working very hard but she will make sure you feel right at home and comfortable. Oh she gorgeous to so don't be to nervous. Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.
It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

I came here at the age of 14 when they were on strike and had to leave due to a lack of professionalism and consistency but I have to say I am very impressed with how much better they’ve gotten under new management, I don’t necessarily agree with the policies of services and the grounds they have for termination but they are fair and understandable nonetheless.

This is a great place to go if you need to go to take classes for a DUI and Substance abuse. It does cost a little bit of money but it is well worth it. The counselor was very nice to deal with. Sometimes we would leave early, but I really did enjoy going there it was a friendly atmosphere. You do get to learn a lot of things. She helped me a lot to get my driver's license back and I'll never forget that. I'll always recommend this place to anyone.
