Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. One thing I wish could change is that I would love to see my Dr face to face instead of over the phone and computer. These people really care and if they can't do what you need they will find so.e place that can for you. This was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family.Because of this place I have my life back. I even got off of meth. I have been clean for a few years now and when I am struggling in any way I can have a one on one with the therapist or an extra group. I trust these people and it's anonymous too. But they even helped me get my apartment. I wouldn't have given you 50 cents for my life before but now I am doing well. Anyone struggling please give them a try. They are very understanding and caring. I also relapsed a couple of times but they helped me get back on track and I now know more about myself and have more self-esteem than I ever have. Karen Helmling 11 months ago Ok here we go, I have read the horrible content that has been posted. Judgemental and criticism is not what we learn here. We learn to work together to help each other get past our trauma and depression. Yes, the woman here can be a hot mess at times, and the building is small. So what! As long as we continue to work together at the groups and therapy, we all here are getting better. Personally I don't know a single woman that isn't a hot mess these days and that goes for the ones in therapy and being therapists. Granted you have your opinions and are entitled to your feelings being validated. Please the women here are good people and deserve to not be judge because they get sick and can't come in, or they have vacation time saved up and would like to take a break from helping others, and having some me time for themselves. Dialectical Behavior Therapy works, but it is NOT an overnight fix! Sometimes it takes repeating the therapy until you learn to incorporate it into your daily lives. I know this from experience. I've been through physical and mental therapy, and likewise with both, you get out what you put in. Whether it's psych, therapy, group sessions, a skills coach...as much as you can engage in, dig deep and show up.My road has been rough and the journey isn't over, and it feels good to have a team under one roof, along with a group of peers I see every week whom can actually empathize with me, because they're going it through it too.It's a place with real people. Have I had an occasional communication/scheduling blip? Yes, but it's extremely rare. And the environment is appropriate for what the setting is, which I appreciate.The support staff is friendly and helpful. Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!!

I went there almost a year ago and to this day the group therapist I had Marc had a great impact on my life. I wasn t really sure what to expect with this clinic beings as I was coming from a clinic in Bowling Green, KY that I did not have a very good experience with as far as the staff/competence goes. Its a year later since first review and I'm still at Spero. I still can tell you a 1000 good reasons why you should come here. These people really care and if they can't do what you need they will find so.e place that can for you. This was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family.Because of this place I have my life back. I even got off of meth. I have been clean for a few years now and when I am struggling in any way I can have a one on one with the therapist or an extra group. I trust these people and it's anonymous too. But they even helped me get my apartment. I wouldn't have given you 50 cents for my life before but now I am doing well. Anyone struggling please give them a try. They are very understanding and caring. I also relapsed a couple of times but they helped me get back on track and I now know more about myself and have more self-esteem than I ever have. Ok here we go, I have read the horrible content that has been posted. Judgemental and criticism is not what we learn here. We learn to work together to help each other get past our trauma and depression. Yes, the woman here can be a hot mess at times, and the building is small. So what! As long as we continue to work together at the groups and therapy, we all here are getting better. Personally I don't know a single woman that isn't a hot mess these days and that goes for the ones in therapy and being therapists. Granted you have your opinions and are entitled to your feelings being validated. Please the women here are good people and deserve to not be judge because they get sick and can't come in, or they have vacation time saved up and would like to take a break from helping others, and having some me time for themselves. Dialectical Behavior Therapy works, but it is NOT an overnight fix! Sometimes it takes repeating the therapy until you learn to incorporate it into your daily lives. I know this from experience. So everyone if you are looking for help from good people and others in a group setting, that will work to together with you. Come here, we are like family here. We don't judge.

My experiences in the Spear building have always been good. Linda T always greets me with a smile and kindness. Julie V. is a wonderful prescriber. She's very attentive to my whole body and life, not just my mental health. Dana the nurse is always kind and helpful. I've been a client there since 2012 and I don't want to get my care from anyone else.

Doing the hard work in therapy is the key. I've been through physical and mental therapy, and likewise with both, you get out what you put in. Whether it's psych, therapy, group sessions, a skills coach...as much as you can engage in, dig deep and show up.My road has been rough and the journey isn't over, and it feels good to have a team under one roof, along with a group of peers I see every week whom can actually empathize with me, because they're going it through it too.It's a place with real people. Have I had an occasional communication/scheduling blip? Yes, but it's extremely rare. And the environment is appropriate for what the setting is, which I appreciate.The support staff is friendly and helpful. The practioners that have helped me, including Wyeth, Julie, Lacy, and Alicia, along with the peer group, have been great.I highly recommend their services.

Rivervalley Behavioral Health is awesome and wonderful place to go to get help. They helped me when I was there. All the Employees and Managers are very nice and Friendly People who work at Rivervalley Behavioral Health. They have a wonderful Group Therapy that anyone can go to talk about your problems you are having. This is Group is called Circle Of Hope. This place was great. All the emoyees were so kind to me. I was in the adult unit and I actually really enjoyed my time here. My stay was two weeks exactly and everyone was so helpful. I didn t have a place to go and Edith did everything she could to find me a place and I am so grateful for her and all the staff. I don t know why the reviews for this place are so bad. I loved it here. I almost didn t wanna leave I felt so cared for and supported. My psychiatrist, Margarat listened and understood. Groups were really helpful. I LOVED pretty much all the techs. Holly, JoJo, and Angel were my favorites haha. Only giving a 4 star though because I do feel like I needed more one on one therapy which I did not get And the cleanliness of this place is not good. Cafeteria always smelled weird and was diguisting Took housekeeping three days to clean up volmit in the quiet room in the adult unit But as far as my actual treatment goes, I feel 10000% better than I did when I came in. I was there for mental health and I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel like this place helped me grow and will help me continue to grow and it help prepare me for my next journey. Today is my first day out and it almost feels weird not being there lol. I am forever grateful for this place so thank you to all the staff that helped me.

I went here like maybe a month ago it was after Halloween before Thanksgiving and don't remember when exactly it was but it was around that time frame the techs are so nice like actually they made my experience there so amazing I went there on behalf of suicidal ideation and a lot of the other people who were there with me were also in there for that reason I was in the adolescent girls unit and there was only one girl who was not there for suicidal thoughts he was actually there for homicidal thoughts but I mean she was fine she was only there for 3 Days of my entire day which was in a week long and I met a lot of really nice people there but you're not guaranteed to meet nice people like I did so I'm not going to count that as part of the review instead I'm going to say that the schedules were very clean and tidy trust me everyone wanted to have gym twice like straight up the boys came to the adolescent girls even though they weren't supposed to solely because it is amazing. They have really good lunch food and it's a real variety however the morning food with normally the same every day you got hash browns sausages and biscuits and sometimes it would be pancakes sometimes there will be waffles I loved my stay and in life or death matter, I would come back

I called the office of Dr Blanky at Ascension Medical Center and I was told he was working half a day and didn t have any appointments available. After the receptionist spoke with Dr Blanky, he agreed to see me.
