While it's not anything fun to review, upon completion, I'm glad that I chose this place to report to. Allan is a good guy. He's not judgemental at all and this experience was not nearly as painful as I had originally imagined.

My daughter had a wonderful experience here and so did me and her dad. We were nervous but Jennifer Phillips made sure to make us all as comfortable as possible and the tools she gave us to help our daughter are amazing. I never fail to recommend her and this establishment to others who are seeking counseling.

This location has been the absolute best behavioral health I ve ever recieved. Every single staff member is kind, non-judgmental, helpful, caring, and honest. Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare saved my life and has also changed my life for the better. I would recommend this mental healthcare facility to anyone. Thank you to Wendy, Allison, Dion, Alicia, Leslie, and Hailey. I appreciate every single one of you for what you ve helped me overcome.

Ok here we go, I have read the horrible content that has been posted. Judgemental and criticism is not what we learn here. We learn to work together to help each other get past our trauma and depression. Yes, the woman here can be a hot mess at times, and the building is small. So what! As long as we continue to work together at the groups and therapy, we all here are getting better. Personally I don't know a single woman that isn't a hot mess these days and that goes for the ones in therapy and being therapists. Granted you have your opinions and are entitled to your feelings being validated. Please the women here are good people and deserve to not be judge because they get sick and can't come in, or they have vacation time saved up and would like to take a break from helping others, and having some me time for themselves. Dialectical Behavior Therapy works, but it is NOT an overnight fix! Sometimes it takes repeating the therapy until you learn to incorporate it into your daily lives. I know this from experience. So everyone if you are looking for help from good people and others in a group setting, that will work to together with you. Come here, we are like family here. We don't judge.

My experiences in the Spear building have always been good. Linda T always greets me with a smile and kindness. Julie V. is a wonderful prescriber. She's very attentive to my whole body and life, not just my mental health. Dana the nurse is always kind and helpful. I've been a client there since 2012 and I don't want to get my care from anyone else.

Doing the hard work in therapy is the key. I've been through physical and mental therapy, and likewise with both, you get out what you put in. Whether it's psych, therapy, group sessions, a skills coach...as much as you can engage in, dig deep and show up.My road has been rough and the journey isn't over, and it feels good to have a team under one roof, along with a group of peers I see every week whom can actually empathize with me, because they're going it through it too.It's a place with real people. Have I had an occasional communication/scheduling blip? Yes, but it's extremely rare. And the environment is appropriate for what the setting is, which I appreciate.The support staff is friendly and helpful. The practioners that have helped me, including Wyeth, Julie, Lacy, and Alicia, along with the peer group, have been great.I highly recommend their services.

Fun, Caring, and Educated staff. Hillcrest is thought of in all the wrong ways and it took getting involved with Hillcrest to see all the amazing things they do and are always thinking up to show these misunderstood children love, stability, and understanding.

I have transported youth to and from Hillcrest for many days n evenings during these last couple of months. The Staff has always been kind and respectful to me and the youth I was with.

I called the office of Dr Blanky at Ascension Medical Center and I was told he was working half a day and didn t have any appointments available. After the receptionist spoke with Dr Blanky, he agreed to see me. He has always been kind, supportive and knowledgeable.I ve been a patient of Dr Blank s for a number of years and I trust his professional opinion and I greatly appreciate him seeing me today.

I don t know when I went but maybe this is a sign I need to go I m confused

They have been excellent! They're very nice and treat my daughter who's a teen with alot of respect as this is her first pregnancy and she's nervous and has alot of fear. They have been very informative and have went above and beyond to make sure the baby is doing well! Dr.Schroeder is the Best!

Currently in the program. I feel that this place was a life changer for myself personally and the therapists and staff are amazing!! Thanks to you all...

I see Samantha as a therapist and she s fantastic. All of the staff is very friendly, and Jenny in DBT (also a individual therapist) is great! I ve overcome a lot of issues by attending sessions and group here.

I didnt like my therapist at first, she talked to me more as a mental issue then a person, but I ended up transfering to a different therapist because my old one got a promotion and shes the nicest person ever, we actually bond over common intrest rather then just talking about my mental heath and what's going on in my life and I find her very fun and easy to talk to.

This facility completely turned my life around in every aspect. I can't say enough about how caring and compassionate certain staff is here. I owe my life to them for saving mine.

Rivervalley Behavioral Health is awesome and wonderful place to go to get help. They helped me when I was there. All the Employees and Managers are very nice and Friendly People who work at Rivervalley Behavioral Health. They have a wonderful Group Therapy that anyone can go to talk about your problems you are having. This is Group is called Circle Of Hope. Everyone who works at this Group are very wonderful and caring People who cares alot about other People like me who needs their help very much. Thanks you for helping me and other People too.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is extremely kind and willing to work with everyone. They carry a lot of knowledge and typically have an answer to any question you may have. The clinicians truly want to see each of their clients succeed. There is no place in Evansville comparable to New Visions.

I have never been in therapy and I have been here for about a month now. I get excited for my next visit. Heather is such a sweet and caring woman and she can really put a smile on your face. The receptionist's I don't want to misspell her name. She is always working very hard but she will make sure you feel right at home and comfortable. Oh she gorgeous to so don't be to nervous. She gets me Everytime she speaks. I would give them more then 5 stars if I could.

I have been going to New Visions for a little over 2 years and Aly has helped me see life in a whole new light! Coming from a background of childhood abuse, sa, and domestic violence, she has helped me regain confidence in myself and has helped guide me through the everyday challenges I face! I can say with certainty, I don t know who or where i d be without Aly!!

River Valley has given me the tools and knowledge to get and stay clean for years. With effort, determination and a yearning for a better life, anyone can change with their help. We are not alone here. The staff helps you clear the mind of doubts and reservations.

I was there during the 1990s 1999 - 2000 and a lot has changed about that place since the 1970s and it still is changing throughout the years to come because when I was there there was kids capable of doing things for themselves today there are kids that can't do anything for themselves they can't do they can't even take care of themselves so what's up with sending those kids that can't really do things for themselves there that's why they have damar cuz damar is for developmental disability in Evansville psychiatric children's center is for crazy children in children who are dangerous I was once dangerous I remember bashing Randy Rickard's head through the wall nearly killing him but now that I'm not dangerous anymore I've changed over the years and now I'm chilling laid back because I decided to take a step back from this whole violent behavior and situation and all that I no longer have to be violent I can just get violent out of defense but not out of anger because because I used to get violent out of anger as a child I was like a child of rage nowadays I just fight to defend myself but I promise that I will never put my kid in that situation with dangerous children but I'm not putting my kid in any facility I'm going to raise em the right way but I do know good stuff there like Tony Todd Larry Nellis and all them good staff I even know Miss Valerie it's like nostalgia but and I'm glad that I'm not in prison right now for what I did to Randy Rickard Bashing his head through a wall nearly killing him because he called me the n-word and I did not like that that was totally wrong of him to do but it was also wrong of me to bash his head through a wall and nearly killing him that I will not do again but I promise that I'm not violent anymore I'm more chill and laid-back hopefully every child learns her lesson not to be as dangerous as I was and hopefully they learn how to use coping skills like I did there thanks to EPCC I've learned every coping skill in the book thank you for all your hard work to get me back on track before I went to IDTC and by the way Tony Todd was a good staff and he was a really good staff he understood me he was kind of a funny man he liked to entertain what I got to say is R.I.P Tony Todd I'll see you in heaven and I'll be there before you know it

I was there in the 1980's when Mr.Brazelton was there.i was helped alot and graduated from Castle High School in the class of 1993 1 out of over 500 students.Thank you EPCC.
