For the last several years I saw Cassie Memering. In my 72 years I’ve had my share of medical problems and seen many doctors in many towns and different hospitals. I can honestly say none of them treats me with the personal, caring way that Cassie does. When I show up for a visit they are very prompt at getting me into see her. I think a lot of you men could have a problem going to a female for your urology needs, but let me tell you Cassie takes that fear all away. She is the most personable, caring, understanding, medical professional I have ever dealt with. We talk, she listens, she understands, and she advises me on all my issues. I read the last review and I am not surprised in the least! I had an experience with this facility and while the lady was pretty confident that I was going to enroll. I guess you thought I had no other choice. She made it clear that she had control over me and if I was one minute late that would mean that my probation would go on forever and that the facility would profit as much as possible based on any problems getting rides that I don't normally need. Clearly the more dependent you are before this happens the higher your rate of success. If you are independent and you have to find dependence on other people then you are likely to fail. SteppingStone makes absolutely no sense. They are a profit machine that is supported highly by city and that is why they are at the top of their list. If you are ever in a position where you have to use rehabilitative services I highly recommend that you skip over this option. Remember me if you're ever in there and they tell you how big of an addict you are when the truth is you just have a life and you made one mistake. This He’s taking care of his mental health after getting dealt a really bad hand in life. Life hasn’t been kind to him lately, and it shows in the weight he carries every day. Coming back to Brentwood Springs feels like returning to a place that actually gets it. The staff here is compassionate and professional. They create a safe, structured environment where my human can focus on healing. The inpatient and outpatient options give real flexibility, and the therapy groups, medication management, and recreational activities seem to help him start processing things he’s been holding onto for too long. He is involved in the Hope4Hero’s program which helps with Active, Veterans and first responders. This program has been so helpful for him. It’s not easy watching someone you love struggle, but seeing him get the support he needs here brings me some peace. The facility is clean and calm, which makes a big difference when emotions are running high. I appreciate how they treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—and include family/ support system education too. It reminds me that he’s not alone in this, even on the toughest days. If you or someone you care about is facing serious mental health challenges or co-occurring issues, Brentwood Springs is a place worth considering. There was a misunderstanding, I think with my previous doctor from Orleans leaving a 2 week gap in medicine, I've taken for 29 years! Without hesitation my new doctor at The Jasper office took over right away and filed that medicine! I have genuinely NEVER been cared for by a doctor like that way my whole life! While crying out for help and being ignored had become the norm at other facilities, the crisis intervention team and staff at LifeSpring in Jasper began rallying around our family. They built a wall of safety around my loved one who needed care, a showed him (and us!) that we are not alone. They faced many “no’s” when trying to help us find additional critical care, but that did not deter them, even after hours, and they were able to find additional resources to help our family. I truly believe that thanks to their caring, determination and tenacity in ignoring the roadblocks and finding other avenues to take that they saved a family member’s life. They also followed up, after hours even, to make sure that the family member’s life had the support and care they needed. I will always be grateful for this group being put in our pathway. I finally got accurately diagnosed, got on personalized medication, talked daily with a therapist so we could talk about strategies to overcome my personal challenges, and I put in the work for myself; this place isn’t a quick solution or a “cure all” by any means, it’s the first step forward you just have to use the opportunity, be consistent with putting effort, love, care, time, and dedication into yourself. BOTTOM LINE: Work With The Staff and Put In The Work to make a better life for yourself. I was placed with a very kind, compassionate and caring therapist who I still see 3 years later here. I have done their PHP program - which was fantastic and very eye opening for myself. Every therapist and social worker there were so supportive and took time to talk to you if you needed to talk, they never made you feel small or unwanted in each group class. I’ve also started EDMR and my therapist has been very gentle with that also. Hands down would return here again if by chance I ever had to quit. I recommend this facility to everyone. You have to be willing to make that change for yourself. These wonderful people cannot do it for you. You have to want it. It’s not handed to you. It’s very hard work.
