Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.
It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

Spero Health has been a vital part of my recovery journey ! I sit back and observe others say they do not believe in MAT (medication assisted therapy) that it's just another substance to get off of and that's really far from the truth ! If I had never found Spero and the medication that I am on I would have done come across a pressed pill since my DOC was opiates I know by now or within the last t years I would have purchased a perk on the street and the odds of me overdosing on fytenol was great and finding Subutex saved my life it saves mother's, father's, someone's son someone's daughter someone that's loved in this world ! Being properly evaluated and treated them stabilized during trauma therapy and when u are ready the tapering off the medication helps get off of the medication and not suffer any withdrawals from the medication ! If u work the program or if you are in ur recovery and doing your recovery the correct way u will have a longer happier thriving and productive life ! Ty to all the former employees and current employees for getting up everyday and loving with you too and doing it with your heart instead of it for just a paycheck!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this clinic beings as I was coming from a clinic in Bowling Green, KY that I did not have a very good experience with as far as the staff/competence goes. However, I absolutely love how the staff at this clinic treats me and wants me to succeed. They make sure I have my meds and are very flexible with your schedule/lifestyle. Been going here for about 2 months now and really enjoy it so far. Highly recommend!

The Bridge to Recovery opened my eyes to what needs to be put in place to live a happy, meaningful and positive life. The group interaction, is one that I’ve never experienced before in therapy, I felt “a part of” instead of “a part from”. Upon arriving, I never have felt so welcomed and a peace of knowing this is exactly where I need to be and where I want to be. I have been in the VA system for close to 20 years now. Started here in Clarksville in the Memorial Drive clinic, then moved out west for 6+ years and have since returned. The difference in quality of care here in Clarksville is just amazing. I though Las Vegas was good, well Clarksville just plain and simple has them beat. Great care, great people and almost no waiting. Top it off with Nashville and Ft Campbell medical facilities less than 1 hour away each and veterans are extremely well provided for. Well done!

My doctor is named Dr P Cook. This lady is God sent. She listens to me, she educate me about my records, my body and my mind. I really love this woman that I bring my daughters to my appointments so she can school them in their bodies. I really don’t know what I would do with out her. I have been in the VA system for 20 years at different locations. The clinic in Clarksville is by far the best. The staff are polite and professional. Sure, it might be busy and my appointment may not start exactly on time. However, every provider that I have encountered has never rushed me or not taken their due diligence to answer any questions that I have.

I'm honestly surprised at the reviews my stay at rivendell was nothing like what some of these say. I loved the food always made sure we had enough. Loved most of if not all of the staff shout-out Mr Bennett the nights where a little rough but the flashlights didn't bother me as much as you'd think and they were just checking on us. My bed was comfortable and I had all the hygiene supplies I needed deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, and a shower every morning. Snacks twice a day and hygiene breaks as needed and two 5 minute phone calls. Rivendell thought me skills that are helping me in the real world and I will forever be grateful.

They are all great! I cannot express just how nice it is to have this group of people in my corner. They are an important piece of my recovery, allowing me to lead a normal, fulfilling life. Nothing but professionalism. I've never had a problem that they couldn't explain or point me in the right direction. The VA client in Bowling Green deserves our upmost support. You have to remember they are totally dependent on the powers that be in Washington. That has to be a tough row to hoe these days. As far as to the negative reviews about the wait time. Be honest and vulnerable with your psychologist to get diagnosed accurately. They only know what they’re told.
Work with the staff while being open and receptive to treatment. It’s that simple.
I finally got accurately diagnosed, got on personalized medication, talked daily with a therapist so we could talk about strategies to overcome my personal challenges, and I put in the work for myself; this place isn’t a quick solution or a “cure all” by any means, it’s the first step forward you just have to use the opportunity, be consistent with putting effort, love, care, time, and dedication into yourself.
BOTTOM LINE: Work With The Staff and Put In The Work to make a better life for yourself.

This place is pretty awesome as far as rehabilitation facilities go.
MAT Program handled through free grants. Somewhat supervised by staff.
The administration is what you'd expect from the field. They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment.
They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything.
I'd recommend it to anyone except individuals literally rendered unable to care for themselves by addiction. Don't know where I'd be without them.

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work.
It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month.
The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.
