This place will always be a second home to me. It's not easy and the weak that dont want sobriety will leave or get kicked out. But if you put your all into this place and concentrate on healing yourself, it's the best decision you could ever make for yourself. I was healed of a 15 year drug addiction i never thought would be possible.... And so many other things. My true friends are a part of thus place and most of us still support each other. We go back as often as possible. And ill always be thankful for this place. I love y'all

I've never lived there. Never been through the program. But I've worked WITH this program for years. I know it's a beautiful thing to witness as an outsider. To see the change in faces from week to week is amazing. I get to witness the residents grow and change. I can tell you that every service and supper we have with this group is an absolute blessing.

This time of year is traumatizing to many of us that live alone. As for me, I think of those that I love that are no longer with me. All I have is time to think, and lots of it. This year I got so depressed and had such overwhelming anxiety, that I turned to look for help. I've never felt such strong depression and anxiety ever before. I thank God for these caring counselors here at Pennyrile Mental Health. They all have been such a blessing for me. Thank-you. Any questions you may have, please Google them for yourself.

Serving the community of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Spero Health provides outpatient addiction treatment and recovery services. They specialize in treating opioid, methamphetamine and alcohol addictions. They use an individualized approach to treatment with medication assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling. Their mission is to instill hope, save live
Spero Health has been a vital part of my recovery journey ! I sit back and observe others say they do not believe in MAT (medication assisted therapy) that it's just another substance to get off of and that's really far from the truth ! If I had never found Spero and the medication that I am on I would have done come across a pressed pill since my DOC was opiates I know by now or within the last t years I would have purchased a perk on the street and the odds of me overdosing on fytenol was great and finding Subutex saved my life it saves mother's, father's, someone's son someone's daughter someone that's loved in this world ! Being properly evaluated and treated them stabilized during trauma therapy and when u are ready the tapering off the medication helps get off of the medication and not suffer any withdrawals from the medication ! If u work the program or if you are in ur recovery and doing your recovery the correct way u will have a longer happier thriving and productive life ! Ty to all the former employees and current employees for getting up everyday and loving with you too and doing it with your heart instead of it for just a paycheck!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this clinic beings as I was coming from a clinic in Bowling Green, KY that I did not have a very good experience with as far as the staff/competence goes. However, I absolutely love how the staff at this clinic treats me and wants me to succeed. They make sure I have my meds and are very flexible with your schedule/lifestyle. Been going here for about 2 months now and really enjoy it so far. Highly recommend!

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work. It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month. The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.

Onsite was truly a transformative experience for me—not just personally, but as a leader in the behavioral healthcare field. There is no other program like this. The depth of the work, the intentionality of the environment, and the power of the workshops are unmatched. It’s a place where real healing and growth happen—where magic truly unfolds. I consistently recommend Onsite to others, knowing the impact it can have. The experience has deepened my perspective and strengthened my ability to show up more fully for those I serve. I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025. It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program. The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative. Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen. I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery . The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise. The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience. Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage. It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me . The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7. All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety. They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together. Samaritan also has full Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady. Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan. I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs. And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library. Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit. My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff. If your curious how it happened - My story went like this…. I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery. .

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I love coming back for visits every chance I get. Thank you all and the founders for providing a place that can actually change our lives. If you have a love one that is struggling with substance abuse I would highly suggest DP. Best of all the staff have been in recovery themselves so they know first hand what you’re going through. Update 8/22/25 Still sober over 2 1/2 years. I owe my sobriety to god, meetings, sponsors and the 12 step program of AA. Discovery Place was definitely influential in my recovery. I came here very skeptical. It wasn’t my idea, and I was expecting to just endure my time here. What happened instead was actually life-changing. I expected a cold, clinical, psychiatric rehab setting. But Discovery Place is a homey, comfortable, community based retreat. Every single staff member has walked through the doors looking for help, and been through the program themselves. And it shows in their compassion and understanding. What surprised me the most was the sense of community. Every Friday, former guests come out for Family Night and that’s when I started to realize it’s more than just a program, it’s an ongoing fellowship of recovery. This is a place to truly retreat, learn about and the 12 steps, learn about yourself, and foster a spiritual experience. My outlook on life has completely changed. Looking back now, with the way I had been thinking and living, I can’t imagine finding real sobriety let alone happiness without a place like this, and I’m deeply grateful for that.

I received very friendly, caring service today at the walk-in clinic. Tina was so kind with me this morning, and Diane set me up with a follow-up appointment this afternoon and was very welcoming. Elizabeth and Zach made me feel like I was in great hands. Amber in the lab was gentle with the blood draw. I've known of Nashville Cares for many years, and I appreciate their kindness and efficiency today when I needed them.
