WOW! Happily surprised by the care I have received from the Hopkinsville clinic. DR sat with me for almost an hour. Everyone genuinely cared about me. You hear horror stories about the VA, absolutely not the case here. Everything is annotated online and you can see that they are working in the background for you. I had a great healthcare team when I was active, and this clinic is right there if not a step above.

I had a positive experience at the VA Clinic in Clarksville, TN. I visited for flu, RSV, and pneumonia vaccinations. Their policy ensures that no patient waits for more than 20 minutes without being attended to. A staff member actively monitors waiting times to optimize patient flow. I have consistently found that my appointments are handled efficiently, with wait times rarely exceeding 15 minutes, and today was no exception. I was able to complete my visit in under 20 minutes. The clinic demonstrates a strong commitment to serving the veterans in this community.

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. This VA location has consistently ignored my input as a patient since I have moved here. Every appointment feels like a check in the box and waste of time. I do not feel heard by my medical team and when I raise concern about a treatment plan or medication I am told "just try it out." Furthermore, after expressing my displeasure to my medical team I was told "I just don't think me or anyone in the VA will make you happy." I just want someone to take me seriously and listen to me when I show up.

Just don't... if your child is in need of true therapy dp npt take them here, or to any Centerstone for that matter. School based therapists just play games and give them more excuses to behave the way they do. Teens are not easy, and if your'e taking them to therapy it is for a reason, not for someone to want to be their "friend" and make it easier for them to tell lies, behave badly and have a plethera of new excuses to say nothing more than I don't know.
The Office Manager speaks over you and makes her own excuses as to why your female child MUST see a male provider, or her you can wait a month or more and MAYBE we will have a female provdier available. Mental health doesn't wait, and your child should not have to wait, maybe refer out to another location or even another facility.

None of the other programs that I have attended can be compared to the program offered by Place of Hope, I think this place is the best option for anyone suffering from any addition, the staff treats with love to be healed and come back to be happy. Thanks to this program I'm now closer to God, I noticed the damage that was causing not only to me but also the people I love. They saved my life and I don't have enough words to say thank you!

I had never sought out therapy prior to being referred here by my PCP. I was placed with a very kind, compassionate and caring therapist who I still see 3 years later here.
I have done their PHP program - which was fantastic and very eye opening for myself. Every therapist and social worker there were so supportive and took time to talk to you if you needed to talk, they never made you feel small or unwanted in each group class.
I’ve also started EDMR and my therapist has been very gentle with that also. Hands down would return here again if by chance I ever had to quit. I recommend this facility to everyone.
You have to be willing to make that change for yourself. These wonderful people cannot do it for you. You have to want it. It’s not handed to you. It’s very hard work. I’m just happy I have Cross Pointe behind me to move forward.

Dr. Rhoton is the real deal and accepts Medicaid Traditional. Fast and friendly service. Front desk is awesome and is good about telling how long the wait is which is generally close to on time. Nurse is also nice. I really miss dealing with this office. I always got more than awesome service. I had to switch to another provider but will always be willing to come back if insurance changes in the future if they are accepting new patients

I ain’t gonna lie I did not like going to counseling my first go round. I wasn’t ready for the help. The 2nd time i loved going. & between both times my counselor did act differently because they could see that I was trying vs before when I was not. & I understand completely why I got different vibes. I didn’t want help. then when I did they all helped me. I see some reviews saying staff was rude ect. Personally not once was anyone just rude to me. Now did some make it clear they seen threw my bull, yup. As she should have! absolutely recommend going there if you genuinely want help! If you do not want help and ur there for other reasons they wil be able to tell. I even ended up homeless for 5 months, basically like my little sister died, I missed counseling sooo much & they still worked with me & tried to help even tho they could have kicked me out for not going only cuz they knew I was actually trying. I have mad love for all these people after round 2. Before tho I did not at all. basically ur vibe depends on the vibe you will get. but it wouldn’t be helpful for them to just act like they didn’t notice ur not trying.

You have to be an ACTIVE participant in your friend/family’s care, otherwise, you will get lost in the shuffle. Meaning that you have to make the phone calls, ask to talk to the Dr, nurse and social worker.
Building is old and dirty and they are likely short staffed like everyone else.

Life-changing doesn’t even begin to describe it.
I came to Solutions Retreat in Nashville broken, hopeless, and convinced I was a lost cause after three big-name rehabs and countless IOPs failed me.
From the moment I walked in the door, it felt different — no giant campus, no lecture halls with 20 guys, just a small house with 6 clients max and the most intense, one-on-one work I’ve ever experienced.
They don’t do the typical “30-day insurance-driven days and kick you out” model. I did deep experiential therapy, Trauma Processing, Anxiety Processing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Depression Processing, and daily immersion in the actual 12 steps — not just reading about them. Their Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques finally quieted the noise in my head. The owner and main counselor actually live on-site and eat every meal with you. You can’t hide here. They see through the BS in about 10 minutes and lovingly call you on it.
The food is ridiculous (home-cooked Southern meals every day), the house sits on a beautiful piece of land across from a 1,300-acre state park with deer and wild turkey in the grass in front of their facility. Yet they are only 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. They took us to events all over the city.
I’ve been sober over 3 years now. I talk to my counselor from there at least once a month — for free — to this day. My family says they got their son/brother back.
If you’re sick of rehabs that feel like summer camp or a psych ward, and you’re actually ready to do whatever it takes, this place will save your life. It’s not easy, it’s luxurious but not in the fancy-spa way. Most importantly, it works when nothing else has.

There are so many special things about Solutions Retreat that I could expound on. But the highlights are the things that saved my life. At Solutions Retreat I had the opportunity to settle into a comfortable residential setting and allow the world outside to keep moving and could allow myself to slow down. To process the consequences, and to find the desire to change. Once I began to feel more like myself, I learned more about myself and addiction through study of the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book. I began to absorb the information through deep and honest communication with other people like me, some of those people even having years and years of sobriety. Also during my stay, I got to build the foundation for my recovery community. We attended local meetings daily and got accustomed to making it to a meeting daily in early sobriety. I have been to other treatment centers before. Solutions is a step ahead because it is a company that only exists to serve the community and help the next addict and alcoholic. State run facilities have always made me feel like just a number and that my only value was my insurance money. God Bless Solutions Retreat!
