WOW! Happily surprised by the care I have received from the Hopkinsville clinic. DR sat with me for almost an hour. Everyone genuinely cared about me. You hear horror stories about the VA, absolutely not the case here. Everything is annotated online and you can see that they are working in the background for you. I had a great healthcare team when I was active, and this clinic is right there if not a step above.
Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.
It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works
Spero Health has been a vital part of my recovery journey ! I sit back and observe others say they do not believe in MAT (medication assisted therapy) that it's just another substance to get off of and that's really far from the truth ! If I had never found Spero and the medication that I am on I would have done come across a pressed pill since my DOC was opiates I know by now or within the last t years I would have purchased a perk on the street and the odds of me overdosing on fytenol was great and finding Subutex saved my life it saves mother's, father's, someone's son someone's daughter someone that's loved in this world ! Being properly evaluated and treated them stabilized during trauma therapy and when u are ready the tapering off the medication helps get off of the medication and not suffer any withdrawals from the medication ! If u work the program or if you are in ur recovery and doing your recovery the correct way u will have a longer happier thriving and productive life ! Ty to all the former employees and current employees for getting up everyday and loving with you too and doing it with your heart instead of it for just a paycheck!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this clinic beings as I was coming from a clinic in Bowling Green, KY that I did not have a very good experience with as far as the staff/competence goes. However, I absolutely love how the staff at this clinic treats me and wants me to succeed. They make sure I have my meds and are very flexible with your schedule/lifestyle. Been going here for about 2 months now and really enjoy it so far. Highly recommend!

I had a positive experience at the VA Clinic in Clarksville, TN. I visited for flu, RSV, and pneumonia vaccinations. Their policy ensures that no patient waits for more than 20 minutes without being attended to. A staff member actively monitors waiting times to optimize patient flow. I have consistently found that my appointments are handled efficiently, with wait times rarely exceeding 15 minutes, and today was no exception. I was able to complete my visit in under 20 minutes. The clinic demonstrates a strong commitment to serving the veterans in this community.
Our 13yr old spent a little over a week here recently. He said the staff treated him with respect and were "really cool". I also had a positive experience when speaking with the staff here regarding him. The facility was very well put together. The most important thing for me? They helped the 13yr old quite a bit. They seem to understand and care about what they are doing.

The staff, who is very shorthanded, was caring & understanding and tried to accommodate my needs to the best of their abilities with their limited resources. With the exception of Angel, on the Adult Unit, who was on a power trip and kept bullying & triggering several patients. The group therapy was insightful and I learned how to identify signs of when an episode was coming on and several coping skills to help me regain control of myself & emotions.
They love to feed you, with three hefty meals a day plus two snacks and the food is really good too!
I just wished they would allow you to go outside and walk around in one of the fenced in areas to get some fresh air and help clear your mind. Even in small groups or a couple people at a time would definitely help!

The level of care that my mom received here was top tier. They updated me daily on her progress without me having to call. They actually treated her like a human being and made sure she was safe and well taken care of. I whole heartedly recommend this hospital. They are just absolutely fabulous and I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they done for my mom.

This place is pretty awesome as far as rehabilitation facilities go.
MAT Program handled through free grants. Somewhat supervised by staff.
The administration is what you'd expect from the field. They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment.
They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything.
I'd recommend it to anyone except individuals literally rendered unable to care for themselves by addiction. Don't know where I'd be without them.

Buffalo Valley, Clarksville, TN has not only absolutely changed my life for the better....but has also saved my life. The employees and staff are like family to me and have more than just helped me through the recovery process.... they've given me hope and the tools I needed to survive my addiction AND thrive in a newly clean and sober lifestyle!

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work.
It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month.
The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.
8 used to go there a couple of years ago and had miss baker.. oh man she awesome person...i love her. I recently had to go back to get some understanding in my life and I requested miss baker. ..she just made my situation seen so much lighter years ago. So for that reason I have requested her again. ..thank God for miss baker.....she's a 10 for sure.

Very good place to come get help for all your mental illness problems, PSYCHIATRIST,LICENSED THERAPIST, THEY ALL DO CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS,BUT ITS UP TO YOU IF YOU WANT THE HELP OR NOT,I PERSONALLY WANT TO BE BETTER.I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY THERAPIST NOR PSYCHIATRIST FOR ANYONE IM MORE STABLE NOW THAN ANY OTHER TIME IN MY WHOLE LIFE.THANKS PENNYROYAL

Oak plaines saved my child’s life. Literally. She had so much testing done that primary doctors don’t do. It helped to determine what meds suite her best and showed other deficiencies which contributed to poor behavior. She is a new kid. She’s smiling, laughing, enjoying life. I was a resident at Oak Plains Academy from September 2018 to April 2019. It wasn't perfect when I was there. I mean some staff members did lose a bag of my possessions and never got returned to me, but I had the ability to learn a bunch of stuff I'd never been able to learn from the kind hearts from staff members. And all in all it did shape me into being a better person.
I have been going here for about a month and a half now and my therapist is an absolute dream. She’s so kind and caring and I always look forward to our weekly meetings. I cannot say enough good things about her. I have already seen so much progress in myself even though I’ve only been going for a short amount of time.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!! I want to start by saying that when the time comes as caregivers that you feel like you have no other options and what you’re doing isn’t working that making the decision to put your loved one in crisis in a short term facility is not easy. We struggled for weeks on end before finally making the call to Unity to get the process started. My FIL is only 63 years old and has suffered from Parkinson’s disease since 2016 and the past 2/3 years he’s began to develop dementia. He has faced SO many life altering changes just this year and was starting to do better but then rapidly declined. From June to August 19 (the day he was admitted) every day seemed to be worse than the last, no medication combo was working and his medical team was no help. We placed him at Unity on 8/19 and he completed a 20 day stay there. I was so scared of him coming home and being angry at us for our decision but we genuinely didn’t know what else to do and we were worried about his quality of life and safety. His medical team, social worker and discharge coordinator held a weekly phone meeting with us to address progress, med changes, concerns and his day to day life. We were allowed to visit him 3 days of the week and we were allowed to call him 3 other days of the week. The first couple of times we spoke to him on the phone and when my husband went to visit we hadn’t seen much progress he was still very confused and angry while still suffering with some very scary hallucinations. On day 16 we got the call that he would be discharged at the end of the week. I will be honest with you both my husband and I were very nervous and skeptical but we shouldn’t of been as my FIL came out of Unity his old self! He’s now able to hold a conversation, he’s calm and not in a constant state of anxiety/panic and most importantly he’s safe now. We were so scared of how angry he would be that we sent him somewhere and that he wouldn’t understand why but he has only been home 45 minutes and he was telling us how thankful he was, how he learned so much there, how useful this place was to him and that he learned a lot of new coping skills to manage conflict or change in the future. THANK YOU to the staff at Unity…from the admissions coordinator, to the front desk staff, the nurses, social workers, doctors, nurses and discharge staff THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you for giving my FIL his life back!!!! We are so beyond happy to have him home and very thankful this resource is here in our community!!

This place helped me get back on track I love genesis for everything they did for me most of the staff is top tier really care about you and your recovery most places genuinely don't care but they do there thanks genesis.
I’m 4 days away from graduating my IOP classes and I had to let anyone who’s interested in this business know, that Erin was my instructor for my IOP classes and she is amazing! Super helpful and informative . She connects with you on a level of like having a really good friend that makes you feel comfortable to be able to speak about your issues, problems or things that you’re going through during this time . she made me feel like I was at my own personal mini rehab where I could be myself and feel comfortable to speak when usually I’m not ! I just wanted to say and share that she has helped me through my sobriety and recovery and has kept me encouraging on track! I never thought I would say that I’m going to be sad to graduate this class for the simple fact that I won’t be returning. Thank you for the wonderful experience .

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years".
The care and concern the team showed for me and my sister made a marked impact on our experience.

Did an individual intensive here that was at the same time as a Living Centered workshop, so I did some activities with that group as well as being able to focus on some deep healing work.
I had an incredible time, it was much more powerful than I expected. I did see the benefit of doing one of the group workshops, and hope to attend one in the future! The people at Onsite are truly remarkable, I will be forever grateful to the experiences they provide. I truly believe the work they’re doing has the power to change the world.

Great speakers and info! Learning the different perspectives and how the RPs, Directors, IT, and HR, and even finance works together was great. Lovingoood was the high point! Relatable, applicable, informative, and helpful! The time allowed to be together outside of meeting was invaluable, too. Great balance! Location was fantastic!
