I have been on Suboxone for five years. My previous provider was no longer accepting my insurance, and I was already five days without my medication. I had called 30 something places with no luck of anyone taking my insurance. Including all of the places my insurance stated was accepted. Cumberland Heights did not accepted my insurance either. However, Todd went above and beyond to help me find a place that did take my insurance; even sending a referral to this place for a person he had only spoken to once. I was in and out of that place the same day. Todd, I can never express my gratitude and tell you how thankful I am that you went out of your way to help me! It doesn’t mean much to some but when you are taking medications to live a normal life; it means the world. Thank you again, Todd! ☺️

Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Samaritan Recovery Community is a nonprofit agency that provides treatment addiction recovery services for adults in Nashville, Tennessee. I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025. It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program. The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative. Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen. I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery . The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise. The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience. Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage. It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me . The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7. All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety. They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together. Samaritan also has full Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady. Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan. I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs. And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library. Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit. My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff. If your curious how it happened - My story went like this…. I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery. .

Serving the community of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Spero Health provides outpatient addiction treatment and recovery services. They specialize in treating opioid, methamphetamine and alcohol addictions. They use an individualized approach to treatment with medication assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling. Their mission is to instill hope, save live
Spero Health has been a vital part of my recovery journey ! I sit back and observe others say they do not believe in MAT (medication assisted therapy) that it's just another substance to get off of and that's really far from the truth ! If I had never found Spero and the medication that I am on I would have done come across a pressed pill since my DOC was opiates I know by now or within the last t years I would have purchased a perk on the street and the odds of me overdosing on fytenol was great and finding Subutex saved my life it saves mother's, father's, someone's son someone's daughter someone that's loved in this world ! Being properly evaluated and treated them stabilized during trauma therapy and when u are ready the tapering off the medication helps get off of the medication and not suffer any withdrawals from the medication ! If u work the program or if you are in ur recovery and doing your recovery the correct way u will have a longer happier thriving and productive life ! Ty to all the former employees and current employees for getting up everyday and loving with you too and doing it with your heart instead of it for just a paycheck!

Before coming to The Bridge, I was so broken. I carried so much pain and didn’t even realize how heavy it had become. From the moment I arrived, I was given a safe and loving place to finally let it out. Debra and Susan are two of the most powerful and compassionate women I’ve ever met. They gave me space to feel all of my emotions, to cry, to break down, and to begin putting the pieces back together. They helped me connect with my inner child the little girl who never got the chance but deserves the world. That is something I never thought I’d be able to do, and it has changed me forever. Even on the days when I still bawl my eyes out, I feel peace now, because I know that’s part of healing. But it wasn’t just them. Every single person at The Bridge has left an imprint on me. Cassie is incredible she holds her boundaries so firmly, yet does it in such a loving way that you always feel safe with her. Anthony has a way of making your heart melt just by being himself his kindness and warmth shine through in everything he does. And Shane instantly makes you feel welcomed, like you belong there from the moment you meet him. The entire staff carries a mix of strength, love, and authenticity that makes The Bridge unlike any other place. They don’t just teach you tools they walk beside you, support you, and remind you that you’re not alone. I left The Bridge lighter, stronger, and filled with more hope than I ever imagined possible. I am so grateful for every single person there. The Bridge didn’t just help me heal—it gave me a new beginning.

The Bridge to Recovery opened my eyes to what needs to be put in place to live a happy, meaningful and positive life. The group interaction, is one that I’ve never experienced before in therapy, I felt “a part of” instead of “a part from”. Upon arriving, I never have felt so welcomed and a peace of knowing this is exactly where I need to be and where I want to be. Each day opened up new ways to understand self care, trauma, just life in general and how to operate effectively through it. Now I’m on my way to becoming a “whole person.” I will forever be thankful for my experience there, it’s quite unforgettable and would recommend to absolutely everyone.

I'm honestly surprised at the reviews my stay at rivendell was nothing like what some of these say. I loved the food always made sure we had enough. My bed was comfortable and I had all the hygiene supplies I needed deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, and a shower every morning. Been going since Oct 29, 2020, and am SO thankful they started taking TennCare. That was my last "excuse" I couldn't pay for both(drugs and the weekly fee), so I promised my family when they started taking my insurance I would go. Now, they do start you on a low dose, but it's for your safety and they move you up decently fast. They have gotten so much better in the 4 years I have been going. The staff now is much more caring than when I first started. Without them, I would probably be dead. I have been able to go on several vacations, do things with my family I wasn't able to do while on drugs, and enrolled in college to obtain my Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I send everyone I can there, and the ones that want to change have thanked me for sending them. If you truly want to get clean, they will help you. It's not easy, it is a process, and you have to put in the work, but BHG will do everything within the laws and statutes to assist you!
