They care for my husband very well. They put the Veteran first. The nurse at vitals check-in saved my husband's life by finding an issue while checking his vitals before an appointment. He was totally asymptomatic and his rates were fluctuating. She just happen to catch it at the lowest, 35 bpm. We had no idea his heart rate was below the danger zone. He was admitted, taken to ICU, transfered to our local Heart Institute and a pacemaker installed. Yes, he fussed the entire time. God sent an Angel and we call her Nurse!

Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

| Landmark Recovery of Louisville provides addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment in Louisville, Kentucky. As one of the top addiction rehab centers in Kentucky, they strive to provide comprehensive care to help adults build happier, healthier lives. You’ll benefit from a safe, stable environment with ongoing emotional and medical support, c | Treatments Programs Payment Options | UPDATE***. You see the original comment, they stood over my shoulder as I typed it. Landmark recovery on fern valley rd is a JOKE!!! The comments you see about the CEO not giving a crap about what goes on in her facility is true!! Let’s just say there was a survey that went around and baby I filled it from front to back, corners and all! I had so much to say that I got to sit down with the CEO & Co-CEO to get a fill for the new things & better opportunities that were getting ready to be put into place. As I read the comments I see that was a lie. Also the whole paper thing was suppose to be anonymous but they matched my hand writing to the daily check ins we did. YOU WILL BE TAKING COLD SHOWERS WITH SEWER FLIES!!! The water supply is a 5-gallon igloo bucket thing with the spout at the bottom which is very important bc when it’s time to be refilled, guess what, it’s rolled into the bathroom & filled with sink water. For the amount of money spent here, things could go be sooooo much better & still be the bare minimum experience. They’ll answer the phone to get you in the door, sell you a bunch of lies about the “the state of art facility” and it’ll sound good. & look good to upon first entry and where the family meetings and public eyes can see. But once you cross that wooden door, it’s a all a lie. Welcome to hell! I would never recommend anyone to go here. I will say, the names mentioned were definitely great people, I would reconnect with again. But that place, is one of the reason I have remained sober. I refuse to go back, please go with a different facility if you can. This place will definitely be investigated one day!! Best wishes to you all.
First time going to rehab and landmark was a great experience. The staff are welcoming and the patients here are very welcoming as well. Made me feel love and supported as soon as I stepped onto the wing. They definitely feed you so be prepared to gain a few pounds. Also huge shoutout to Gary A, Jackie F, & the PES Britney, Randy, and Matthew they are all amazing. There are plethora of different backgrounds here so if you find yourself here please take the opportunity to get to know them and use the knowledge that they give you. Overall a great experience and I recommend.

The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. Journey Pure has definitely been an essential part of my recovery journey… I was fresh out of a 30 day treatment center and knew I needed to do more to ensure the success of my recovery. I was referred to Journey Pure… the first few months were more intensive, which helped set a foundation for the mental health maintenance I do today.
I loved my initial therapy sessions with Bri, and my current therapist, Alexy, is just as good. I highly recommend Journey Pure if you are serious about wanting what’s best for your mental health and wellbeing! There’s no time like the present (:

Honestly when I walked in this place I thought it was gonna be like the multiple other places I've been. And as I expected the 1st communication was with my 1st therapist who didn't work for me. The office manager Megan immediately got me switched over to another therapist who is better. Megan has gone above and beyond for myself and multiple other people that I have spoke with since starting there in April. I also would like to say that the lab technician Desiree is always a bright spot in my day when I come in. And finally the doctor Chris has been always willing to listen when needed and speak wisdom to me when needed
Over all I would recommend this place to anyone who is completely ready to live a better life and have the support necessary to achieve this.

So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don’t want to truly get clean it’ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that’s not true. I didn’t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. It was a safe healing place and if you’re needing help this is the place to go ❤️🩹
