RAC set me up to have a highly successful recovery from my addiction to alcohol. They truly saved my life. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for relief from their addictions. The facility was extremely clean and top of the line. The staff are extremely empathetic, kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. They go out of their way to check on you and make sure that you have what you need. They will love you back to life. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the food was amazing. The group facilitators, counselors, and case workers are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have zero complaints from my time spent there. They also offer aftercare options and I highly encourage anyone that completes their treatment at RAC to take the advantage of these programs. They will set you up for a successful journey to sobriety. I’d like to personally shout out Kurstey, Wes, Christina, Marcus, Kimberly, Eric the Therapist, and Isabella the case manager.

From top to bottom this has been the best program I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Phenomenal counselors, all extremely passionate. They make sure you don’t just complete treatment, but are set up for success after leaving. The amenities are unmatched. Massage therapy, an amazing gym, beautiful scenery, 24/7 nursing, private chef. There is no other detox I’m aware of that does as much to keep you comfortable, healthy and cared for as they do.

Avenues Recovery Center in Clarksville, Indiana, is an inpatient drug and alcohol detox and rehab center. They strive to provide individuals receiving treatment with a loving environment and attentive medical care. You’ll be away from toxic environments and triggers and have the opportunity to focus on developing life skills that will support you
I came to Avenues in Clarksville, Indiana, coming off a cocaine bender — and the love and support I received from the staff truly helped me begin rebuilding my life. Jessica and Shelby, the intake coordinators, were exceptional. They supported me every single step of the way with genuine care and compassion. Chantel is my favorite BHT — I love her! She has such a kind heart and always shows up with consistency and grace. She’s a valuable asset to the recovery center. Starr is a powerhouse. She busts her tail every shift she works and gives 100% to her job and the clients. She’s one of the hardest workers in the building, and it shows. Joe is exceptional as well — supportive, dependable, and real. Sunshine, my case manager (for the second time!), is amazing. She supports you through everything but still holds you accountable, and that balance is exactly what recovery requires. Jordan and Samantha bring life and light into the facility. Jordan brings the peace and presence of the Lord that so many of us in recovery need — I personally value every conversation I’ve had with her. Stefany is wonderful too — she knows how to lighten the mood and make people smile, even on the tough days. Jenna works hard every single day making sure clients get to group and stay on track — her dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Gonza is the most valuable asset in group facilitation. He taught me to truly understand the problem and how to face it. He’s cool as a fan and knows how to connect with people. Crystal and the entire nursing staff, including Danielle, are exceptional. They keep everything running smoothly and make you feel cared for — their energy keeps everyone grounded. If I could give one suggestion, it would be to review the leadership on second shift — there are other staff members who show real diligence and could make a strong impact in that role. Overall, I’m deeply grateful to Avenues Recovery for bringing me closer to my family, my higher power, and my sobriety. This place — and these people — have truly changed my life. Starr will always stand out in my mind as one of the best.

UPDATE***. You see the original comment, they stood over my shoulder as I typed it. Landmark recovery on fern valley rd is a JOKE!!! The comments you see about the CEO not giving a crap about what goes on in her facility is true!! Let’s just say there was a survey that went around and baby I filled it from front to back, corners and all! I had so much to say that I got to sit down with the CEO & Co-CEO to get a fill for the new things & better opportunities that were getting ready to be put into place. As I read the comments I see that was a lie. Also the whole paper thing was suppose to be anonymous but they matched my hand writing to the daily check ins we did. YOU WILL BE TAKING COLD SHOWERS WITH SEWER FLIES!!! The water supply is a 5-gallon igloo bucket thing with the spout at the bottom which is very important bc when it’s time to be refilled, guess what, it’s rolled into the bathroom & filled with sink water. For the amount of money spent here, things could go be sooooo much better & still be the bare minimum experience. They’ll answer the phone to get you in the door, sell you a bunch of lies about the “the state of art facility” and it’ll sound good. & look good to upon first entry and where the family meetings and public eyes can see. But once you cross that wooden door, it’s a all a lie. Welcome to hell! I would never recommend anyone to go here. I will say, the names mentioned were definitely great people, I would reconnect with again. But that place, is one of the reason I have remained sober. I refuse to go back, please go with a different facility if you can. This place will definitely be investigated one day!! Best wishes to you all. First time going to rehab and landmark was a great experience. The staff are welcoming and the patients here are very welcoming as well. Made me feel love and supported as soon as I stepped onto the wing. They definitely feed you so be prepared to gain a few pounds. Also huge shoutout to Gary A, Jackie F, & the PES Britney, Randy, and Matthew they are all amazing. There are plethora of different backgrounds here so if you find yourself here please take the opportunity to get to know them and use the knowledge that they give you. Overall a great experience and I recommend.

Place isn't the worst and isn't the best, but alot better than most other places in Louisville. People get mad because they constantly still get high or get in trouble for taking benzos with their methadone. So they get on here and talk bad. This place has helped me more than anything, now I'm going on 9 months sober from opiates for the first time since I've been an addict from the age of 18.

I believe that this place offers a great service to the Louisville Community. They have been opening their doors to people with substance abuse problems, the homeless, and armed forces veterans for decades now. And I think it's great that they were able to open their new and bigger facility recently. That just means they are able to help more people. Keep up the good work THP, And God Bless...

The healing place is a wonderful center for recovery serving men of every walk of life during and after recovery and / or displacement. They offer a myriad of program to assist those in need as well as access to many other program outside of their own that they are partnered with. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, lunch being open to the public, while the others are for residential clientele. Nightly shelter available upon request, as well as long term residential services to those who qualify. The facility also offers a program for specifically for military veterans on the second floor that works in conjunction with the VA to help veterans in need gain access to the benefits they require. I personally appreciate the VA program at the healing place immensely, and have been fortunate enough to have received their assistance in the past. One day at a time…

I had been at another treatment facility for years. I felt like I was just another invoice. Policies constantly changing, no support or compassion. I felt the difference the first time I called Crossroads and Josh answered. I felt heard and welcomed. I’m so happy I made the change to Crossroads Treatment facility. From the time I walk through the door and saw Alexis’ smiling bright face, to Josh’s open and caring personality. CJ and Renee are amazing and never look or talk down to me. Craig always speaks and has a smile. I never have felt less than or felt like I was being judged for being an addict. I appreciate the care and support I receive from Crossroads staff. I have 19 years sobriety today and know that I have the team behind to continue to remain sober.

Journey Pure has definitely been an essential part of my recovery journey… I was fresh out of a 30 day treatment center and knew I needed to do more to ensure the success of my recovery. I was referred to Journey Pure… the first few months were more intensive, which helped set a foundation for the mental health maintenance I do today. I loved my initial therapy sessions with Bri, and my current therapist, Alexy, is just as good. I highly recommend Journey Pure if you are serious about wanting what’s best for your mental health and wellbeing! There’s no time like the present (:

Honestly when I walked in this place I thought it was gonna be like the multiple other places I've been. And as I expected the 1st communication was with my 1st therapist who didn't work for me. The office manager Megan immediately got me switched over to another therapist who is better. Megan has gone above and beyond for myself and multiple other people that I have spoke with since starting there in April. I also would like to say that the lab technician Desiree is always a bright spot in my day when I come in. And finally the doctor Chris has been always willing to listen when needed and speak wisdom to me when needed Over all I would recommend this place to anyone who is completely ready to live a better life and have the support necessary to achieve this.

I've been listed, among the homeless, since 2006. The Healing Place, from when it was on Broadway, always made space for us, the homeless. I will have 20yrs, among the homeless, 2026, & I, continue, to be blessed by the discipline, & "No B.S.!" practices. Some, among the homeless, seem to struggle with what The Healing Place helps - anyone, in need, get away from, yet, it's up to an individual to sign-up. On the other hand, I'm struggling to keep what, little income I'm allowed to have, as housing wants a percentage - no matter how small, & I can't afford any housing agreement. The Healing Place give us space to figure things out...in a safe space. Thank you. 🙏🏿☺️

So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don’t want to truly get clean it’ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that’s not true. I didn’t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. It was a safe healing place and if you’re needing help this is the place to go ❤️‍🩹

Had a great time getting sober here and I miss the staff. This is a good place to get sober with great staff that really care about their patients and many of them are addicts themselves in active recovery. Made a lot of great friends there. Fun times!

This review is for the pediatric brook hospital in DuPont. I have two boys who have been in and out of every psychiatric hospital in Louisville (and one terrible one in Indiana.) They have been to these places since they were 5-6 until now (8-10) because of mobile assessments being requested from their schools (because JCPS can’t seem to teach special needs children without psychiatric intervention.) This is the ONLY hospital I will agree to send them back to. The second best hospital was Our Lady Of Peace, but it still doesn’t come close to this one. At this hospital, we met with the entire care team, including the doctors, once a week. This is huge, because every other hospital I’ve been to, I have never been “allowed” to even speak to the doctor treating my child (they were always too busy to speak with the parents.) I would usually only be allowed to meet with the social worker once a week. In contrast, The Brook’s doctor and care team seemed really interested in my children and very clearly just wanted the best outcome for them. They were not too quick to put them on some kind of sedative or medication. By comparison, a hospital in Indiana called me within 5 hours of admission to get approval for a heavy tranquilizer on my 8 year old. Another hospital put both sons on exactly the same dose/same sedative medication, even though they have *completely* different behavioral problems and different diagnoses. The brook didn’t want to put my sons on just any medication. They waited until they had all of the information and ultimately decided that they didn’t actually need any medication, which I agreed with. This has never happened in ANY of the five or six other hospitals they have been to. To clarify, if they had said that they DID need mediations, I would have still appreciated the fact that they waited to really evaluate them. When I would drop things off for my kids-clothes, toys, books, etc. my sons would get them the very same night or the next day, without fail. Didn’t lose anything! Again, by comparison, the hospital in New Albany kept my son’s shoes and sent him home barefoot!! We still haven’t gotten those back. The New Albany hospital also never gave him the books and comfort items that had already been approved-I dropped them off on his second day. They never gave my son any of it during his entire 4 week stay. When he was discharged from the Indy hospital (again, barefoot as they couldn’t find his shoes) and the things I dropped off were returned, half the stuff was missing. This never happened when he stayed at the Brook-they were very careful with the kid’s comfort items and made sure the kids got them right away or they were returned to me right away if not allowed. I really appreciated this. I would absolutely recommend this hospital to other parents. I know leaving your child in a hospital is absolutely terrifying. I know. This is a great hospital that really put me at ease and made my children comfortable. Hopefully we won’t need to go back, but if we do, I would ONLY agree to the Brook. I’m confident that my children (and yours) would be very well taken care of here.
