Amazing place, you will be treated by a small staff that is friendly and you are treated like a person. In the short time I have been here I feel like family. Doctor and staff are all super laid back and nice and you are not labeled an addict like other places you are labeled by your name and treat same if not better than your family doctor. Please keep doing what your doing, you have helped me so much after an awful experience at st Elizabeth Journeys’; that place is a joke to mental health.

It can be a scary and painful process going through any program I suspect. But The Ridge staff and their support program made it a very compassionate, Informative, and a truly helpful process. The accommodations were excellent. From counseling through the course work and group work, the program Is a fine balance of healing, education and preparation. Every member of the staff from the cooks and the counselors to the doctors and administration, all were genuinely concerned with my overall well-being and recovery. I highly recommend The Ridge for anyone seriously considering changing their future for the better.

There is alot more freedom here than other places. I think more personal counseling would be beneficial with trauma. No caffeine and no sugar took some getting used to but i got so healthy while being there, I felt great when I left! I had a medical emergency while in residential treatment and the input i got from Dr.Soto was completely wrong, i can count on one hand how many times i interacted her, she had no idea what she was talking about but the rest of the staff made up for that. Overall I had a great experience at the Ridge. I would recommend this to everyone. The staff is amazing and they genuinely care about what's going on in your life ❤️

I went through Prospect House as a client in 2012, and it was the first place where I was able to begin connecting the dots about what was going on inside of me. That experience became foundational — not just for my recovery, but for the direction my life ultimately took. I later built a career in behavioral health, and I often say I learned more during my time at Prospect House than in all my years of schooling. That’s not meant to diminish my education — it was valuable in its own right — but the insight and growth I gained there were unmatched. I wasn’t ready when I arrived, but they helped me become ready. I’m deeply grateful for the role they played in my journey.

I've been a prospector for a long time, it's something special that works in this house, I don't know if it's the residence the staff the structure of the program, it's full of care and love it's spiritual and it forces you to change. I can’t say enough about CAT! The simple facts are that this place and all of the kind souls who make it operate have helped me through the darkest times of my life. With a host of resources I was not only able to work on my recovery, court services worked by my side every step of the way to resolve my legal obligations as well. Talbert House has truly helped me. The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. Christmas, although sad, was truly fun. One of the clinical staff came in and played some games with us. Although the program can be hard, I believe it can truly help you. The program can be stressful at times, but the staff are there to try and help you. My favorite staff, Ms. Beth, always had the newest shoes on. She, along with all the staff, truly helped me. I am forever thankful for them.

Talbert House on Gelnway Ave has been taking care of me since 2012. I was in a really bad way and they go above and beyond for my care. It's easy getting in with a therapist and their psychiatrist Dr. Pelnick is the best doctor I've ever had. They listen to you here and find what can help you most. I received prompt and attentive care for a medical emergency. During my hospital stay my nurses, Anita and Josh, were great and did their best to make me comfortable. The team of doctors saw me multiple times a day, starting promptly every morning, and took the time to call and communicate daily with my wife at home. This hospital is very caring and most of the staff cares as well. They try and help everyone they encounter but you have to use the tools they give you to succeed. They have an excellent mix of therapists, case managers, doctors, and nurses who makes sure your stay is not too unbearable. No one wants to be in a psych hospital but if you do have to go this place should be your choice compared to some other inpatient places in Cincinnati.

I was torn, but ultimately decide I would wait a month to post this to ensure my progress was sustainable, rather than just a temporary, positive boost from just finishing the program. The care in PHP is exceptional. I worked with a phenomenal, deeply passionate therapist, and the content we learned was genuinely revolutionary for me. The nursing education sessions were highly informative, and the psychiatric staff was incredibly understanding and helpful in identifying my specific needs. They provide fantastic strategies and tools that (when put into practice) have transformed by how I go about my life. My only concern involves some of the front desk and auxiliary staff. Interactions with them sometimes made it feel like patient needs were being disregarded. This was never personally; but anecdotally I noticed issues around accessibility needs not being met. Ultimately, the core program and clinical team are outstanding and deliver an experience that creates lasting, positive change. If you are seeking help, Beckett Springs is the place to support you in changing for the better.

I went into the emergency room mental health center at the VA in Georgia I told them the truth about what I was feeling. I had suicidal thoughts it was like I wanted to give up. The VA and the therapist have helped me focus on the present not the pass trauma like I was doing every day. Focusing on today and the present moment is important and what you give your attention too is also vital in this process. I know the VA ain’t perfect but this score goes to my team of doctors and everyone at VA Ft.Thomas. I appreciate the help. I attend the MAT program at Crossroads. The building has numerous programs geared at assisting individuals with substance abuse issues from smoking cessesstion to heroin addiction. I have had interactions with numerous staff at multiple programs. I have been attending groups and individuals counseling as far back as 2013. I would highly recommend this place for people who are convinced they have a problem to people who believe they just need a little support to get over it. Give them a call. What could it hurt.
