I’ve been going here since the beginning of my recovery and still going and I’m now 4 years clean of methamphetamines, but I really have to give all the glory to god and everything else to my counselor Sabrina Stiles!!! She has made all the difference in my recovery because she has been there and done that and learned her lesson the hard way, the very painful way and therefore she can relate and that itself makes a world of difference. Thank you Sabrina for being yourself all these years and also making yourself available no matter what for all of your patients. We are NOT just a number to you and you are very personable to each and very one of us that see you… thank you for everything you have given to your “counselor” position and to each and everyone of your patients. This is the best clinic I have been to so far and I've been in treatment for over 10 years. Highly recommend this place to anyone look to start.The dr and counselors are very nice and willing to help you with your problems and really care. I switched because they offer split dosing because I was getting sick later in the day and all the other place didn't want to help but it is really going to be a big improvement for me.

I’ve been with this Talbert House location for a couple of years after being placed into court ordered therapy for an ILC program. There are some things that I’d like to state. The very first therapist I had, an Asian woman, was awful. I do not think she is currently with the company, I don’t know if that had anything to do with her awfulness. She was very callous, judgmental, and constantly made me feel like a P.O.S and like my appointments were a burden to her. I didn’t feel like any of my therapy sessions helped because she was, for lack of better word, a see you next Tuesday who clearly didn’t like anyone that had a run in with substances in their past (despite me being clean since May 21 on opioids, and only smoking a little weed here and there and minor alcohol). However, my therapist now, Kaitlyn, has made up for that. I’m able to be open and honest with her about everything. I had a recent DV incident with my ex that completely changed my life and flipped everything upside down. With Kaitlyn, I’ve been able to stay sober from marijuana and alcohol, and feel satisfied doing so. Not that your therapists are supposed to feel like your “friends” but now that Kaitlyn will be going to a different facility to help even more people, I do not know if my next therapist will be as good as Kaitlyn. My therapy sessions with Kaitlyn have me believing in the mental health institution and in therapy itself. Before, I only came because I had to. Now, I WANT to come because it’s healing me. This Talbert House will be losing an amazing employee and I only hope the next practitioners are even half the therapist of her. After some thought I wanted to add something else. When my ex strangled me and went to jail, this Talbert House absolutely saved me and my sons lives. I was homeless and living in my car and a shelter, and went into preterm labor at 30 weeks pregnant from the assault. Kaitlyn, Amanda, and the others at the team here at Talbert House found me somewhere to live, had it furnished, and had so many donations for me and my son in less than a week. Without them, I don’t know if me and my child would still be together or if I’d even be alive. When you read these reviews please consider that maybe they aren’t giving therapy or this location a fair chance. Turnovers happen everywhere, therapists get new and better jobs. They find new opportunities, they grow and change within their lives. However it doesn’t mean that this Talbert isn’t doing their best. If you give yourself a fair and fighting chance, you will absolutely succeed at this Talbert House.

It can be a scary and painful process going through any program I suspect. But The Ridge staff and their support program made it a very compassionate, Informative, and a truly helpful process. The accommodations were excellent. From counseling through the course work and group work, the program Is a fine balance of healing, education and preparation. Every member of the staff from the cooks and the counselors to the doctors and administration, all were genuinely concerned with my overall well-being and recovery. I highly recommend The Ridge for anyone seriously considering changing their future for the better.

There is alot more freedom here than other places. I think more personal counseling would be beneficial with trauma. No caffeine and no sugar took some getting used to but i got so healthy while being there, I felt great when I left! I had a medical emergency while in residential treatment and the input i got from Dr.Soto was completely wrong, i can count on one hand how many times i interacted her, she had no idea what she was talking about but the rest of the staff made up for that. Overall I had a great experience at the Ridge. I would recommend this to everyone. The staff is amazing and they genuinely care about what's going on in your life ❤️

today is August 30th 2022. I feel the need to leave a new review. this week I am moving from one state to another. top of the list for concerns; how do I continue with my MAT? how about there is a Brightview clinic less than 10 mi from my new home? another concern; how do I continue with my treatment until I can get my insurance transferred from one state to the other, how about Brightview will continue seeing me in the new state until my insurance is transferred and then they will bill them. in other words, there is absolutely no excuse to give up my sobriety because I am moving to a different state. if you have any questions or concerns the staff at every Brightview clinic have the answers! if you are really ready to leave your addiction in the past (where it belongs) moving is no excuse to let it take hold of you. love yourself, care for yourself, find a Brightview clinic and let them help you get on the road to the rest of your life. it is there for you to grab and move on. when you hear the words trust the process, you can really trust it with Brightview! i have been in so many recovery centers, and consider myself an "old timer". Nothing worked..... until BrightView! The level of care is phenomenal. From the moment I walked in I felt loved and understood, not judged. I recommend BrightView to anyone struggling with addiction. They have resources for rebuilding your life, that addiction has taken. My message to someone wanting help: go to BrightView, trust the suggestions they give you! Each and every member of the staff go above and beyond the highest of expectations! Thank you, BrightView, Wilmington, Ohio for believing in me and giving me a path to a better life!

Cedar Oaks Wellness Center is the most unique facility I have ever visited. I did the dual diagnosis route and overall spent maybe around 70 days there. I went in disgruntled, agitated and depressed. By the time my discharge date arrived I had done a 180°. The staff at this facility not only saved my life but fueled a new passion in me. I now want to become involved in this line of work and give back to those who were once in my shoes. THANK YOU COWC STAFF!

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

I highly recommend the PHP or partial hospitaliza program. It help a great deal because there is constant feedback between you and the doctor regarding medication changes. Also there classes that explain Dialectic Cognitive Therapy to change problem behaviors or reactions. I left feeling happy like my old self.

Not sure why VA Health gets a bad reputation with facilities like the Dayton VA Medical Center around. I have been using this facility for a year now and its been nothing but a positive experience. Staff and doctors have been helpful, understanding, and have provided top notch care. This facility provides care for everything possible and if they cant fit you in they will refer you out to community care. Only negative thing I can say is after the new system was in place messaging has become a little less effective. Hopefully that will get better after everyone gets better using it.

You hear lots of horror stories about vets being treated poorly by rude, entitled VA Staff! Let me assure you, not at this location! I have VA clinics closer to my home than this one, but I will continue to keep going back. This hospital is very caring and most of the staff cares as well. They try and help everyone they encounter but you have to use the tools they give you to succeed. They have an excellent mix of therapists, case managers, doctors, and nurses who makes sure your stay is not too unbearable. No one wants to be in a psych hospital but if you do have to go this place should be your choice compared to some other inpatient places in Cincinnati.

I was torn, but ultimately decide I would wait a month to post this to ensure my progress was sustainable, rather than just a temporary, positive boost from just finishing the program. The care in PHP is exceptional. I worked with a phenomenal, deeply passionate therapist, and the content we learned was genuinely revolutionary for me. The nursing education sessions were highly informative, and the psychiatric staff was incredibly understanding and helpful in identifying my specific needs. They provide fantastic strategies and tools that (when put into practice) have transformed by how I go about my life. My only concern involves some of the front desk and auxiliary staff. Interactions with them sometimes made it feel like patient needs were being disregarded. This was never personally; but anecdotally I noticed issues around accessibility needs not being met. Ultimately, the core program and clinical team are outstanding and deliver an experience that creates lasting, positive change. If you are seeking help, Beckett Springs is the place to support you in changing for the better.

I don't really understand where all of the negative reviews are coming from. This place is genuinely lifesaving. The PHP/IOP programs are group therapy in a class-like setting where you learn coping/emotional regulation skills. As long as you're willing to put in the effort then this place can really make a positive change. Most of the staff are very caring, and Madi in particular is genuinely one of the best people they could have had for the job here. I'd really recommend Beckett if you need a higher level of care than individual therapy, I have had a lot of success here.

I inherited Dr Alshami at access counseling in Middletown, Ohio, I had been through many many doctors many many facilities, and I will never go to another one. This doctor is compassionate, intelligent, and more than willing to go above and beyond for any needs you have.
