The psychiatrist we found is a gem, who shares her professional advice after listening to our experiences and concerns. Dr. Kaitlyn Pollack is professional, understanding and friendly.
However, finding a therapist that you trust and respect is a process, because you likely will have to try a few before finding the right person to help you. We went through six therapists in six months at the Xenia location, because they shuffled us from one to another regardless of the fact that my daughter was there for help with *separation anxiety*.

I've been a client on and off for multiple years for Substance Use Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I've always been pleased with the care I receive. I've participated in their IOP, PHP, After-care, individual therapy, and psychiatric programs. I've received medical help including the Vivitrol shot. The counselors are great (I've had at least seven different ones) and care about their clients. They are able to refer to higher levels of care if needed. They accept Caresource.
And, as always with mental health facilities, you usually get out of it what you put into it.

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

Med Mart I would give an A+ for all the staff . A few bad apples but for the most part staff deserve praise . Doc B. Is a 1 in a million ! He listens and hears you . And does the best with your dosage ! I am 68 yrs old , an have been to quite a few treatment facilities but Med Mart tops my list. As the Best in Dayton ! Med-Mart does have an issue with keeping staff and that’s really the only thing I don’t understand . The turn over in people who work there . Skylight was my one and only time I'm hoping to get treatment for my addiction! I have been told this place is the most luxurious detox facility ever, compared to other that have been in treatment more than once. I highly recommend coming here and requesting Racheal as your Case Manager!! She's very prompt and knows her shit! I'm gonna miss everyone and the friends I got close to!

I think this is my kids account but oh well. this is the best place for recovery. The front staff are so nice and they don't judge. They watch my son if he comes with me while I see the doc. but oh MAN Dr B is amazing. She has this office that is relaxing and cool, and she sees me. She really understands what my life has been like. I never had adoctor like her before. I wish she was my family doctor. She just makes it seem better when I tell her what is going on and how stressed out I am. Go to Clean Slate!

I really love the staff here they genuinely have your recovery in mind first. Very supportive and helpful in providing you with everything you need to remain sober. Nice rooms with new remodeled bathrooms. I was very comfortable and they made sure I was. Alot of staff are recovering addicts themselves and that makes it even better. I see a lot of mixed reviews and this is a personal preference. But my experience here has been more than satisfactory. Everyone has been more than helpful. Also not have I gone in and seen anyone in a bad mood.

I was there on own free will, among 2 other people out 15. Those who wanted help, got more out of the program. If you just had to be there because of court and didn’t care then your time is gonna suck. Most if not all staff cared about their job, and the patients. I got a lot out of it. And a lot of phone numbers . STAFF is awesome !

First off, let me divulge that I was in treatment from beginning of July 2021 to September 2021 for alcohol addiction and I received more than adequate treatment! It is incredibly disheartening to see that the reviews for this place aren't looking the best! At my time of treatment, I can't say enough good about the substance abuse education as well as the other education they provided that has proven helpful in my journey ! The staff at the time went above and beyond for all of us and not a single soul was left unattended to. God bless all who do their jobs exceptionally and if you're still struggling with recovery just know that you are worth helping and that nothing lasts forever! One foot in front of the other♡

I must commend the exceptional quality of this facility. The mental health services offered, combined with the substance use education, are truly outstanding. The staff demonstrates a high level of attentiveness and compassion. Additionally, the food provided is quite delicious.

This place saved my life,I've been in and out of treatment for 20+years and in the php 45 day program I learned a lot about my self and my addiction.The staff was great and really cares,the food is great and they have a gym and a basketball court to work on your physical part of growing and remaining clean,because of this place I'm very excited to live my life now...clean!!..God bless Ethan's family for opening this place so we can all live life clean in God's, Ethans and yourselfs name,thank you Ethans Crossing..Justin R

Woodhaven was a great experience. I have been in other treatment centers, but this was definitely the nicest one by far. The food was ok, the only complaint I heard was when people wanted more. I didnt go there for food, I didnt go there for tv or phone calls. I went there because my life was in shambles and Woodhaven helped me put the pieces back together. Emily was one of my counselors and probably had the most impact on me during my time there.

When I entered Woodhaven I was unsure what to expect. I went through 3 levels and graduated from PHP (partial hospitalization). In the beginning I was in shock both physically and mentally. They did a perfect job tapering me off opiates, benzo's, and alcohol. It was hard to adjust to the schedule at first because we had to get up at 6:30 am and be in bed by 10pm. The counselors really do care and do their best to keep you focused on your recovery. I hated Ms.Crystal at first but with time I came to really respect her. There are a lot of rules to keep things in order but that's life fr, when I transitioned to level 2 things got better. The programming was easier. I learned more about myself. finally at 48 days I moved to level 3 and had a lot of freedom. I made friends and learned so much about my ism's. Kyle Zinc was my counselor and what a privilege that was. He is an amazing counselor. I am grateful beyond words for Woodhaven and the lessons I learned there.

Woodhaven’s outpatient program is the best thing I have ever been through. After residential treatment I decided to go through the outpatient treatment to continue working on my sobriety. It is a very nice comfortable place with great people. They helped me work on things that I had been ignoring like my legal problem and my drivers license. The case manager helped me get a job and figure out a budget. She was encouraging and supportive and taught me a lot. The counselors are both amazing and fun. They are really like family. I am happy I am living a good life thanks to everyone at Woodhaven. It’s the most wonderful feeling to walk in and everyone to be happy to see me and they really mean what they say they do care.

I've been going to spero health clinic for about 5 years now,they are absolutely amazing,I went to spero health in Chillicothe for about 3 years they're amazing and we moved to Dayton and I started going to spero health clinic on main Street in trotwood Ohio and they are also amazing,they treat you like family never judge you they make sure your taking care of,get your medicine and they also work on tapering you down when your ready. All the nurses, doctor's and counselor's are all loving caring nonjudging and do all they can for you to succeed in your journey of sobriety.. spero is by far the best Suboxone treatment clinic of all places,I would highly recommend going to this place if you need help on becoming sober and changing your line around,they go out of they're way to help you even if you need a place to live, a job medical, mental health and anything else you may need help with... I absolutely love everyone who has helped me thru this live changing sober life I'm living for the past 6 1/2 years.... Thank you spero health for all you guy's have done and still continue to do for me... I started out on 2 subs a day 8mg now I'm down to 3/4 of 4-1mg a day.... Reading these reviews is crazy MVR is the absolute best place you can go to for recovery if you truly want to recover. EVERY person working there is amazing and will help you with anything they can. Sad to see Brittany go she was a great counselor. I’ve read the few negative reviews and without question can tell you they aren’t true. I was one of their first clients and they definitely worked with my work schedule and whatever else i had come up in life. Honestly no bs there isn’t a single thing i can say bad about them at all. I am very grateful for everything they have done for me and the big part they played in changing my life. MVR gives you all the tools you need to succeed and if you can’t succeed here then you don’t want recovery simple as that.
