I just talked to this Mental Health facility because I was curious as to why 2 people left 1 Stat reviews and the rest were 5 star reviews. I spoke with a very nice lady that explained there services clearly. I've come to the conclusion that that 2 bad reviews were somewhat out of line.

I've been going to mental health places all my life. Most I've had bad experiences at. I recently moved here and gave them a call on a bad day asking for services. I was greeted with kind and calming voices and some awesome ladies who understood the help I needed. This place has out done all of the places I've been too.

We were camping near this hospital. When my brother in law started having complications from his low sodium and raised white blood cells. And Shane instantly makes you feel welcomed, like you belong there from the moment you meet him.
The entire staff carries a mix of strength, love, and authenticity that makes The Bridge unlike any other place. They don’t just teach you tools they walk beside you, support you, and remind you that you’re not alone.

The Bridge to Recovery opened my eyes to what needs to be put in place to live a happy, meaningful and positive life. The group interaction, is one that I’ve never experienced before in therapy, I felt “a part of” instead of “a part from”. Upon arriving, I never have felt so welcomed and a peace of knowing this is exactly where I need to be and where I want to be. Each day opened up new ways to understand self care, trauma, just life in general and how to operate effectively through it. I'm honestly surprised at the reviews my stay at rivendell was nothing like what some of these say. I loved the food always made sure we had enough. Loved most of if not all of the staff shout-out Mr Bennett the nights where a little rough but the flashlights didn't bother me as much as you'd think and they were just checking on us. My bed was comfortable and I had all the hygiene supplies I needed deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, and a shower every morning. Snacks twice a day and hygiene breaks as needed and two 5 minute phone calls. Rivendell thought me skills that are helping me in the real world and I will forever be grateful.

I have been coming to the Bowling Green, KY office since before they were taken over by AppleGate. The core group of people has been the same since I started attending, 6 years ago. They are all great! I cannot express just how nice it is to have this group of people in my corner. They are an important piece of my recovery, allowing me to lead a normal, fulfilling life. Myself and my family are forever grateful that we found such a great group of people to walk through my recovery with. This place will always hold a special place in my heart for giving me a second chance at life when I didn't think I was worth one. If you aren't ready to take a program seriously, it will not be an easy time. They're going to show you life how it really is and situations you're going to have to learn to deal with sober. There's no sugarcoating to it. Be ready to put in the work. Nothing but professionalism. I've never had a problem that they couldn't explain or point me in the right direction. The VA client in Bowling Green deserves our upmost support. You have to remember they are totally dependent on the powers that be in Washington. That has to be a tough row to hoe these days. As far as to the negative reviews about the wait time. I did the online visit it was fast smooth. meds helped me get through some detox and bs but the appointment was very easy they were all very nice. So far so good here.

I've been seeing a therapist for a long time and she's great! She listens and genuinely cares. The other office staff is super nice and helpful too. I've been in therapy for quite a bit of my teenage and adult life and can honestly say that Adanta has been the best out of all.
