I've been going to mental health places all my life. Most I've had bad experiences at. I recently moved here and gave them a call on a bad day asking for services. I was greeted with kind and calming voices and some awesome ladies who understood the help I needed. This place has out done all of the places I've been too.

Gallatin, Tennessee | Volunteer Behavioral Health - Gallatin Campus offers comprehensive treatment and recovery services for substance use and co-occurring disorders in Gallatin, Tennessee. Their major goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to maintain a recovery focused and healthy lifestyle. Phone appointments are available to accommodate your needs. Both in | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I highly recommend Cumberland Mental Health as your health care provider for your mental health needs or whatever type of services you're seeking help with. I myself have been a patient of Cumberland Mental Health for quite some time.. years.. I started off going to the Hendersonville location yrs bk when I lived out that way,, which I also have nothing but great things to say about that location as well. I've also been to the Gallatin location. Their staff is amazing!! Always SO fiendly, informative, helpful, & there to greet you with a smile as you walk in... There's nothing worse then going into a Dr.s office (where post people would rather go/be anywhere else but the doctors.. lol) & not being greeted at all, or being given the stare down face that gives the look of the ole "Who are you? Why are you here? What do you want..?!" kinda face... lol!🙃 Ugh that's the worst! No worries for that when you walk into any of the Cumberland Mental Health offices! I can assure you of that!😉 Front desk staff are always so sweet, helpful, & get you checked in in a timely organized fashion.. No chaos, confusion , or waiting to be seen for hours past your appointment time.. I can say in all honesty I've never had to wait longer then 10 to 15mins at the most to be called back. That's a huge deal for us mommy's, working moms (& dads), or all humans in general.. We all have things to do, & places to be.. So sitting in a doctor's office waiting room is never ideal for anyone. At the same time, things do happen & I always understand when a Dr. or therapist is running behind one day or overflowed with patients/appts.. I get it. They're doing their jobs & they're doing it to the best of their ability to help all of us. So for me personally. So to wrap this up... I personally love Cumberland Mental Health & all their staff. Not just my provider... the secatorial ladies, the nurse, the therapist/case workers who never fail to always take a few minutes to tlk with me, ask me if I'm doing well, or if I need anything! Not only in the office, but they call periodically through the month to check up on me and that's so important and kind in my opinion!😉
They're a solid 5 star doctor's office in my book! 😉👍

I have been to several different mental health facilities and this by far is the best. One of the office worker came and personally apologize because everything was taking so long. Which I told them was okay because I understood. Because they are honestly doing their best to get everything done. They have so many task to do and they are handling it very professionally.

I have nothing but good things to say about this operation. The staff is always courteous and kind, very flexible with scheduling, and the case workers really do their jobs by finding you the best care options for your budget, insured or not, which I am not.
When I arrived in TN last year I was technically unemployed and homeless for the most part. They have managed my medications, provided CBT ( cognitive behavioral therapy) bi-weekly, and arranged for UBER/Lyft rides to get me to and from scheduled appointments. I am very grateful for the entire staff and establishment. Thank you for all of your help!

This is a place where you do 5-6 years of therapy in 6 weeks (if you decide to stay the full amount of phases). It is intense, kind of a drag and depressing. Definitely not for the weak. I am so blessed to have completed four weeks at The Bridge to Recovery. It was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life. The therapists here are absolutely outstanding. I learned so much about my trauma and how to connect and nurture my inner child again.
My phase mates were some of the most loving and supportive people I’ve ever met. We grew so close that it felt like family. I will forever be grateful for each of them.
The healing energy at the Bridge is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I am incredibly grateful for this place, the staff, the therapists, and all the phase mates who attended. You have made my life brighter, and my heart whole again. ❤️🙏

The Bridge to Recovery shows you how to live your life after trauma. I had been to so many treatments where I re-lived the trauma and processed it. The Bridge has the beginnings of something great. However, what they are doing there is actually quite dangerous and clinically irresponsible. They are not licensed by the state of Kentucky. They do not have a psychiatrist on staff. They have little if any precautions or screening for discharging someone who is suicidal and/or high risk for relapse. The Bridge unravels you and doesn't put you back together, unless of course you are able to afford staying at least 12 weeks. I can't imagine what percent of patients are able to. The irony is they don't need to answer to anyone since they're not licensed.

Dr. Kavur's office stands out for its refusal to simply cater to patients' self-assumed medical needs. I wish more doctors embodied his commitment to challenging the misguided practice of patient-driven treatment decisions. If you're seeking validation for a self-diagnosis or unnecessary medication, this isn't the place for you. However, if genuine mental health support and tangible results are what you seek, Dr. Kavur is unparalleled. Personally, after enduring a futile cycle of ineffective medications elsewhere, I am optimistic that the expertise and dedication of Dr. Kavur and his team will soon guide me off this revolving medication merry-go-round.

You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment.
They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything.
I'd recommend it to anyone except individuals literally rendered unable to care for themselves by addiction. Don't know where I'd be without them.
Thank you, Buffalo Valley.
