Recovery Unplugged truly felt like my home away from home. I went through both residential and PHP, and I can honestly say I’d highly recommend this program over any other in Tennessee. From day one, I felt so welcomed by the techs and the alumni community—it made a world of difference in my recovery. The beds were super comfortable, the food was amazing, and best of all, I was allowed to bring my pup, which made the whole experience so much easier and more comforting. I’ll always be grateful for the love and support I found here.

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025. It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program. The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative. Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen. I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery . The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise. The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience. Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage. It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me . The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7. All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety. They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together. Samaritan also has full Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady. Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan. I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs. And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library. Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit. My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff. If your curious how it happened - My story went like this…. I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery. .

I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience at this rehab facility. This place was more than just a treatment center. It was the beginning of a brand new chapter in my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. The staff, the environment, the activities… everything played such a fundamental role in helping me kickstart my sobriety journey. The activities we got to do were incredible, not just fun, but truly meaningful. The maze and the pole jumping weren’t just exciting or different. They were powerful, grounding experiences that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Those moments helped me reconnect with myself in ways I didn’t know I needed. One of the most moving parts of my stay was the equine therapy. Working with the horses was such a healing experience. They have a way of showing you parts of yourself that words can’t always reach. But it wasn’t just the horses that made it so special. The director of the equine program brought so much insight and compassion into every session. The way he taught, the messages he shared, and the life lessons he tied into each activity were absolutely life-changing for me. Those classes helped me reflect, grow, and begin to rebuild myself with intention and grace. I also want to recognize some of the incredible staff who made my time there so special. Michelle, one of the house moms, was absolutely my favorite. She was always there when I needed someone to talk to or when I just needed a break from the chaos that can come with communal living. Katie, another house mom, was also a huge support for me. She was someone I could always go to if I needed help, advice, or just someone to listen. Their presence meant everything to me during the hardest parts of this journey. I was also lucky enough to have Allen for the majority of my stay, and I was truly sad to hear he’s no longer working there. His classes were something I looked forward to every week, and his way of teaching and connecting with us left a huge impact on me. And Ken. I can’t forget to mention how much I appreciated his classes as well. They were insightful, engaging, and often exactly what I needed to hear. This place gave me the tools, the space, and the support I needed to begin my recovery in a real and lasting way. I honestly don’t think I could ever put into words how grateful I am for everything this program gave me. I felt safe, accepted, and understood. For anyone who’s struggling with addiction, I would recommend this facility without hesitation. It changed my life.

Great therapists at Journey Pure. It's different in that they go beyond just getting and staying clean and sober. They go deeper so you're able to understand why you do what you do, and to correct unwanted behaviors. The equine therapy was really interesting, as I couldn't fathom how working with horses could help...but it did. The houses you stay in are great, big wide open kitchen and living room. Plenty of good food to eat, and for the smokers, you can pretty well smoke when you want. I know smoking rules can be a big thing for someone detoxing. If your looking for a place to get help, I would recommend Journey Pure!

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

EXCELLENT care received in the ER today. I had to have a "bump" checked out and from the first moment until I was discharged I received nothing but professional compassionate care. From the kind woman who checked me in and got me a wheelchair, to the gentleman who wheeled me around in the wheelchair, I felt cared for. The RN who took over made me feel completely at ease about what I thought was a very embarrassing area to have assessed, so by the time the Doctor and Nurse who treated me, I was very relaxed. The Nurse was kind enough to let me know what Lidocaine was going to feel like (and she was completely spot on!) The Doctor was sooo professional and drained my cyst within no time. I didn't even know he was finished! All and all and completely wonderful visit and I'm so glad the Nashville VA is going to help me in the future.

This place has made some positive changes throughout the years here in Nashville, the establisment has had plenty of renovations, focusing drastically in providing veterans with indispensable service towards honrable men. In 10 years of service I've gotten nothing but positive result from this establishment as much as any sub unit that is operated under VA services here in nashville and truly have found what it means to be a Veteran. I hold a lot of painful memories in this place with injuries and medical concerns, and yet it's still pleasant walking in this wholesome place. Touching, to say the least, watching torn up men left and right but rewarding in everyday possible knowing you had the same guts as every one of them. Thank you for 10 years of the up-most quality of service!

Five stars to an amazing nurse who went ridiculously above and beyond to be kind to our daughter!!! Our 11 year old stayed for a week and accidentally forgot their plush kitty cat. An angel of a nurse saved it from who knows what and took the personal time to send it in the mail to our daughter. This is the difference that the staff at Trustpoint can make in the life of a struggling youth. We are without transportation and live an hour away. This nurse saved our family over a $100 Lyft/Uber roundtrip and restored a little girl their most favorite and treasured plushy. We've had to make some difficult decisions financially and this act of kindness was unexpected but ridiculously appreciated!

I have been there twice wants to get a EMG for my nerves the second to see the neurologist. Got there an hour early after making a 2-hour trip. And I was told that the window by the receptionist that the doctor had emergency surgery and that would be a few hours late I explained to him that I had drove 2 hours to get there I was an hour early could they not help me some way. The receptionist went to the nurse the nurse talked to me the nurse took me to the resident Doctor who had spoke to previously and he addressed my issues prescribed me some medications and told me my primary doctor would have to prescribe them. He sent that to the primary care doctor after 2 weeks of running around talking to the nurse the nurse the doctor or whatever I don't think I still had a prescription wrote yet I'm absolutely upset that I had to wait this long being in pain for 5 weeks I've had one procedure at the pain management in community care and I got another one tomorrow the 10th of November I hope to get some relief. Again let me get back to the Nashville VA I went down the patient advocate and highly recommended that everyone that I was talking to that morning be recognized for the outstanding abilities I even advised the patient advocate he should get something while at the same time saying that I had went to the Murfreesboro VA emergency room urgent care and while there the nurse did not do his job and told him today and they know the day that I was there to go back and look at the video camera that was in the room and see what he did in order so that the 80 year old people will not get abused.

I'm a parent of a teen that has been to Rolling Hills. My daughter's very first visit to a psychiatrist led to her going that night to Rolling Hills. Her psychiatrist gave me two places to choose from and I didn't know which one to choose. I chose Rolling Hills and it was the best decision. I was so torn and scared to leave my child with strangers. I cried myself to sleep that night worried about her and if she was ok. If you are a parent and you are reading this, know that I am an overprotective parent and this experience at Rolling Hills has been a wonderful experience considering the circumstances, they really do put you at ease. Please don't hesitate to send your child here. From admissions, to therapists, to psychiatrists, to case workers, to nurses, to the staff during visitation and all the staff, they have all been exemplary. I wish we lived local so that my daughter could attend their outpatient therapy services. I could go on and on about how great Rolling Hills is and their staff. Please, if your child is having mental issues, don't second guess it, don't doubt, bring them here. My daughter even has the best things to say about Rolling Hills and that tells me a lot in itself. Thank you Rolling Hills for employing caring, loving and kind people. I will always be thankful for you all!

Rolling Hills is a great place to be. I came here for 3 months in 2017 and I am back in the program again now. Both times the staff has been very kind, helpful, nice, and supportive. They really care and want you to succeed! I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Foundations worked with my family and myself while I was in detox. They provided me with all the information I needed to get to a facility that would best fit my problems. Becuase they took the time to guide me and advise me in the right direction I will have 2 years of sobriety in March.

Been going since Oct 29, 2020, and am SO thankful they started taking TennCare. That was my last "excuse" I couldn't pay for both(drugs and the weekly fee), so I promised my family when they started taking my insurance I would go. Now, they do start you on a low dose, but it's for your safety and they move you up decently fast. They have gotten so much better in the 4 years I have been going. The staff now is much more caring than when I first started. Without them, I would probably be dead. I have been able to go on several vacations, do things with my family I wasn't able to do while on drugs, and enrolled in college to obtain my Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I send everyone I can there, and the ones that want to change have thanked me for sending them. If you truly want to get clean, they will help you. It's not easy, it is a process, and you have to put in the work, but BHG will do everything within the laws and statutes to assist you!
