Nothing but great things to say about this facility. You can feel the energy when you walk in the room the employees there I want more than greatness for you and if you pay attention and you look around and watch you can change your life. I salute pastor Ross absolute sister Ross they went out of the way to help me I had a horrible benzo addiction severe seizure and disorder and also have a crazy dietary regimen is where I can't meet and just rough after all that's why I went out of her way to make sure I had special protein shakes to get me through and then lose my sleeping they want to know me the greatest to do it respect on a level that I came to get into describe I love them all and it's family!

This place is great! Excellent staff, regular appointments. However, if you need to cancel and reschedule, you are looking at long dates. They are always on time or early. I have never had a long wait in 4 years.

In way it sucked (at first) but believe it or not it actually ended up being a great place for me. Were there some bumps on the road yes. Were there times I wanted to run home yes (I actually tried and didn't make it far) but at the same time nothing that you could go through there was any worse that being home in fact I think I maybe wouldn't be here today if not for good Ole dessie. I met some of the best people in my life here. I had some really good experiences. I finished high-school I am 29 and am married with 3 kids and a homeowner. I can honestly say none of those things would be true if not for them. I actually am a 2 timer I went for 6 months when I was 15 and it wasn't long enough. Got home and didn't make it 3 months had to come right back. Well anyway I guess my point is you don't make it there by accident or by bad luck and there are a thousand worse places they could send you I promise you.

My son was admitted for psychiatric treatment which was great.. i sent in his medicine, clothes, etc. only problem is during discharge i was given back a spilled bottle that can't be refilled yet!. There's no way my son took 1 full bottle of medication that is prescribed by an outside doctor when he was only there for a week!!! It's impossible!!! But overall, anything else that went on with him i was always updated!

This is the best treatment center I have ever been to and I have been to many. Besides the scenic location and the beautiful, clean house, the staff are incredible. They're awesome. They are life savers.
Chris Mills (therapist) sets the tone - he ensures that the atmosphere of recovery is maintained. Without that we would all just be 'doing time' there. He is the de facto spiritual leader and I thank God that I have had the oppurtunity to learn from his demonstration.
Ashleigh (therapist) has extensive experience of staying clean no matter what and transforming her life into something beautiful. She radiates that.
I wish we all would see Rich (administrator) more as he is a spiritual master. Incredibley accessible spiritual wisdom he has. He can make difficult concepts about recovery easily digestible.

I graduated from this program and went on to the Stepworks sober living and I now have 1 year clean. The therapists are probably the best part about the place, but all of the staff genuinely want to help you. It's in a very secluded place so it's nearly impossible to leave to use. Unlike most other places it's a big mansion with half the people upstairs and half downstairs. I stayed upstairs and the A/C was almost too good in the summer. It probably stayed 62 degrees up there. Would definitely recommend this if you are serious about getting sober.

Literally the best rehab center I’ve ever attended. Had intensive group therapy multiple times a day, and it help me with all my issues. They had a full blown gym, and I made actual brothers there. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE.

Compassionate staff, all of whom are recovering addicts. If you stick and stay for the 11 month program, the statistics against you lessen. I'll be graduating in September. I just hope all the Medicaid cuts won't affect the program

Isaiah house saved me! I was at the Shelley Center during the most difficult times of my life as I had breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on both sides. I hated myself. My appearance seemed awful in my eyes. Shelley Center staff helped me work on fear and they went above and beyond to make sure I loved myself again. They went as far as to buy me my prosthetics so I could start loving myself again and feeling like a normal human being. They're not just an organization, they're a family. I couldn't have made it through the toughest time in my life without their love and support!

I’m not sure what else to say. The staff here including the entire treatment team, has taken a personal interest in my development in a way that no other organization ever has. The services here are outstanding, and the curriculum is second to none. It’s rare that you find an organization that LIVES & BREATHES its mission statement, in every single thing that they do.
After years of struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder, I now feel more free than ever, and best of all, I have the skills, knowledge, and positive habits to STAY free.

This is my second time at Roaring Brook, and honestly, when I relapsed after two years of sobriety, I refused to go anywhere else. I’m from Michigan, so choosing to come all the way back to Kentucky says a lot about how much I trust this place and the people here. I knew that if I was going to get serious about my recovery again, Roaring Brook was where I wanted to be.
Coming back a second time has only reinforced how grateful I am for this program. Relapse was incredibly difficult for me to accept after having two years of sobriety, but Roaring Brook gave me a place where I could be honest about where I was at, work through what happened, and actually focus on rebuilding my recovery instead of feeling judged for it.
This time around, I was also able to participate in TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program), and it has made such a huge difference in my recovery. TRP has given me the opportunity to work through traumas that I hadn’t fully dealt with and understand how those experiences have affected me and my recovery. I’ve also learned actual coping skills that I can use when things get difficult instead of turning back to old behaviors. It has been a really important part of my healing and has helped me understand myself on a much deeper level.
My experience with my therapist, Jarrod, has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve gotten so much out of treatment. He is genuinely one of the smartest and most thorough therapists I’ve ever worked with. He doesn’t just listen to respond — he really takes the time to understand what I’m saying, asks questions that make me think, and helps me connect the dots in ways I wouldn’t have been able to on my own. I’ve learned so much from working with him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the work he’s done with me.
I’m also incredibly grateful for Alison, who manages the sober living I’m in. She is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about the people in the house and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the support, structure, and accountability we need. Having that continued support outside of treatment has made a huge difference for me.
What stands out most about Roaring Brook is that I never feel like I’m just another person going through a program. There are people here who genuinely care about my recovery and want to see me succeed. Being willing to travel from Michigan back to Kentucky for treatment, especially after a relapse, was a huge decision, but I know I made the right one.
I’ll always be grateful that Roaring Brook was there for me not only the first time I got sober, but also when I needed help finding my way back. Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and I’m thankful to have found a place where I can keep growing, healing, learning, and becoming a better version of myself. I truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

The staff is great and my experience was beyond what I imagined. Food is great. Place is clean! Plenty of space! Visits on weekends . Movie nights with candy, popcorn, and pop once a week!! Therapists are great , and staff is there for you! I miss and love everyone I met here. They really care about you. We did many activities to remind us that there is life outside of the toxic substances we leaned on. I hope whoever is needing to hear this is reading. You can make a beautiful life for yourself. I learned so much while I was there and each and every staff member were there to help me. It has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. Since I have returned home I am still doing great. So I Went through Edgewater Which is now ARIA same staff it is a phenomenal program with phenomenal people. They introduced me to narcotics anonymous which is a program. I never had tried before and just recently got two years clean. They sent me up for the beginning to stay clean. It is the only place I’ve ever seen where when you get to go to meetings you’ll see the staff there and they treat you like family not a number. I also used to work for the same program, which is ARIA and both experiences were phenomenal. I highly recommend this if you want to change your life it changed mine. I went in broken with a backpack of dirty clothes and no options. They gave me resources and taught me a new way to live within that two years of me being clean, I’ve got my own place on car own tags on insurance living like an adult and it’s all thanks to the beginning from what you taught me

This place has saved my life. Not just my life but the lives of my daughters as well. Without the staff and my clean sisters here, they wouldn’t have a mother anymore.

The schwartz center was the second treatment center that I've been to, and despite some of the negative reviews here, I found it to be nothing but love.
All of the staff really cares about you and your recovery, like all rehabs there are some. Rules and structure that not all clients will agree with. But it's just how it goes, they are very simple. Rules.
They feed you well while there too.
And the case manager is amazing, she helped me out big time with some court stuff that I was dealing with.
It's also a smaller more intimate setting. Not one of these massive rehabs where you can't learn anything or get individualized treatment from a therapist.
Definitely recommend the team at Schwartz if you're wanting to better your life

My experience with this clinic has been nothing but fantastic. The staff here are very patient, respectful and friendly. I have had a few counselors. I would complain but I have really liked each one, and look forward to my sessions.
