About Launch Pad

Launch Pad is a recovery housing provider in Wilmington, North Carolina that helps working toward long term recovery from substance use.

Its residences are certified sober living homes with live in house managers, random drug screening, individualized goal plans and 12 Step participation.

I think what sets it apart is a required orientation onramp paired with a large sober community calendar that keeps you engaged in recovery.

Onboarding New Members

Launch Pad does not simply place accepted members into a house.

Your admission begins with a phone call to determine the right track followed by five Saturday orientation sessions that everyone completes.

You’re expected to attend 12 Step meetings, and recovery groups run five days a week for people who are not working.

This structure makes Launch Pad a strong fit for people who want built in accountability and a defined daily routine rather than an unstructured sober living arrangement.

Sober Community Calendar

Launch Pad operates a network of more than 15 recovery residences that includes Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

The shared social calendar is central to how the community functions.

You can take part in softball leagues, golf, yoga, an annual awards banquet, a family reunion and holiday events including a Halloween costume party and Memorial Day gatherings.

For someone rebuilding a life in early recovery, this replaces isolation with a standing peer network.

You can request a phone screening and pricing details from admissions to make the process even easier.

A sober living home in North Carolina offers structure and support to help individuals maintain sobriety. The home is free from substances and offers 12-step programs, individual responsibilities, and mutual support with others in recovery. This setting can provide a lifeline as individuals strengthen recovery skills and prepare to reenter mainstream society. Most residents remain in a men's or women's sober living home for six months or more.

Treatments

Alcohol use disorder, commonly called alcoholism, involves an inability to control the amount or frequency you drink and feeling withdrawal symptoms when you don't drink. Treatment for alcohol addiction may involve residential or outpatient alcohol rehab in North Carolina, counseling, or 12-step programs. Typically, some form of professional treatment and support is necessary to achieve long-term recovery.

There are many types of drug rehab in North Carolina. To receive treatment for addiction, you can choose from many inpatient and outpatient programs. Often, participants start with detox and work through a full continuum of care that continues with ongoing support for long-term recovery.
