Don't see Dr. Terminus unless you're a Gogan, they deserve it after what they did to Pete. Otherwise, Passamaquoddy Health Center is a great place, especially how well they handled Lampie during his recovery when he got to the final stages of alcoholism. I travel three hours to be seen here. The Dentist and Dental Assistants really care about their patients on a exceptional level. Even the Receptionist is outgoing and helpful. I have always preferred IHS clinics to regular dental and health clinics, but this one is a hidden gem! They’ve saved my teeth after 10 years of not going to a dentist.

Don't think for ONE SECOND that you're going to help the day you call, you won't. Getting into a state sanctioned program takes time and there are hoops to go through, for a reason. They give you an appointment to come back and they make sure that you have NO open scripts for opiates, paperwork, paperwork, see a doctor, see a nurse, see a counselor, and this is all at 6am. You may be going through withdrawals by the time you dose, around 1pm. YOU WILL NOT GET HELP THE DAY YOU CALL!!!!! Don't think you will. If you need help NOW, go to the hospital or try Kratom. Cap is awesome but you have to put your recovery ahead of the people and the counselors. Not gonna sugar coat this subject at all.

When I walked through the doors at Crossroads for residential treatment, I was dying—inside and out. Addiction and an eating disorder had taken everything from me. I was exhausted, hopeless, and scared. I didn’t know who I was anymore, and I didn’t believe I could be saved.
But slowly, with the unwavering support of the clinicians, psychiatrist, nurse, dietitian, and every member of the staff, something inside me began to shift. For the first time in a long time, I felt seen. I felt cared for. And I started to believe that healing was actually possible.
Residential treatment gave me what I needed most: safety, stability, and space to breathe. I was taught the foundations of DBT and CBT, and I was given healthy, practical coping skills—tools that I still carry with me every day. My 1:1 sessions with my clinician and dietitian helped me uncover pieces of myself I’d buried for years. I was met with kindness, not judgment. Compassion, not shame. And that changed everything.
When I moved into PHP, I continued learning how to live again. I started facing my trauma head-on and finally began to understand just how deeply it had shaped my relationship with substances, food, and myself. That insight was painful—but it was also freeing.
IOP supported me as I began stepping back into the world. It was scary, but I wasn’t alone. Crossroads gave me a soft place to land while I figured out how to walk through life on new, steadier legs. Even now, I continue to meet with my clinician weekly, still learning, still growing.
The truth is, Crossroads gave me more than treatment—they gave me my life back. In the year since I arrived, I’ve changed in ways I never thought were possible. I’ve discovered who I am beyond my pain. I’ve built a new identity, one that’s no longer defined by alcoholism and anorexia. For the first time in my life, I feel safe in my body and in the world.
I am endlessly grateful. Crossroads didn’t just help me recover—they helped me come home to myself. And I truly mean it when I say: this program saved my life.

I’ve been coming to groups for. A few years. They have changed a lot to keep up with the times. They were one of the first in the area. It use to be a lot different years ago. You wanted to get sober it may have taken weeks to get in for your initial appointment Nowadays with everything on the app/online it’s a blessing as you can be using today and be sober tomorrow. You have to do your part. I’m grateful for the program. They will work with you and your schedual. My only gripe is they don’t offer a long term option for people who are stuck on suboxone for pain management. And that the turn over rate for counselors is super high. They will work with you and do anything they can to help you as long as you’re doing your part and even help you with anything else you may need housing finding a dr, anything you just got to ask. - E . I had to complete a zoom class for something that happened over 7 years ago and was dreading it as I finally had the time to with two small children at home one with autism—Amy Kimball made the process tolerable. She didn’t just treat me like another patient and seemed to be able to understand the changes I had made in my life since having children and made the process less painful but I also felt like I wasn’t wasting my life and self reflecting for the future. They are forever canceling and changing my appointments. I hear 5 different things from 3 different people so I don’t know what is going on either. I waited a year to get myself in as a patient and had appointments cancelled 3 times in a row before they even got me in for my intake appointment. I have also been trying to get my daughter in for two years and they just cancelled her intake appointment for a second time in a row. Not only that, but once she’s done her intake appointment, she still has to wait up to 9 months before she can have her psych evaluation. This is getting ridiculous. I wouldn’t use them at all if they weren’t the only place even relatively close by.

My experience was back in November. My husband was brought in with an appendix which burst. The Dr Noursfar said I should call the family. I knew then it was a very serious situation. My husband has undying condition that complicated things. The nurses on that night was beyond expectation. They were so attentive. They knew once he went upstairs I didn't know who was taking him from the emergency room. They called the nurse upstairs and they introduced her to me. I felt so comfortable and eased my fears a little bit more. The surgery took 5 hours. Every time I went upstairs to the surgery unit the girls met me with a smile. Finally, they sent him downstairs. The nurses, Dr Noursfar deserve a gold star! My husband came out that surgery but the Dr saw something he thought we should get checked out and again. He was right. My husband had lung cancer and is in remission. He's not 100% out of the woods. We are doing immunotherapy. Again, I'm proud of our hospital and the people who work there! Thank you!

I've been going to main behavioral health for 8 years. I've had different providers but I've always been treated with respect. My daughter started at Davenport may, 2019. When my daughter first went to Davenport she was in poor health, and didn't do well in school. She also had a very hard time at home. Since she has been at Davenport, her health is great, awesome grades in school, home visits aare pleasant and follows through with counseling and she actually listens to mom and dad. She loves her counselor and equine therapy. She is also getting life skills. My daughter was a hard kid, since she's been at Davenport she's kind and caring. I would like you all know my daughter is still at Davenport and not sure when she's going home, but I trust the staff at Davenport.

My experience at Green Mountain treatment centers was absolutely incredible, I had been searching for the right place to finally conquer this monster inside me for a very long time. From the very star green Mountain was just what I needed and all aspects as far as guidelines support And the tools to be successful afterwards. Since graduating the program, I have been very involved in the alumni program which shockingly extends just as far As the Php program does, which is rare at most treatment centers once you leave it’s over but I have stayed connected Thankfully, to the alumni program. I love green Mountain and everything it did for me.
