Went to this place for the first time ever Today and have never tried methadone before Today.The doctor and staff were extremely knowledgeable about everything and truly care and made very easy and a fantastic first experience long lines so keep that in mind but overall was really shocked at how cool and caring they were and pretty fast as well so will be going back every day now for sure.If it's your first time or 5th time this place is definitely something I would truly recommend and that's being completely honest no BS.

I ve been here for a week now and it s great, it s just like a house, but with trained staff in a central hub 24/7. They re all really nice, and fairly relaxed. The bedrooms are private, so no worries about a roommate, there s 2x bathrooms that are shared, but everyone cleans up after themselves so it s always tidy. There s an open kitchen that you can use the food they buy, and/or food you bring. You re allowed to bring and keep your phone as well as a laptop/tablet. They even said I could bring my desktop gaming pc if I wanted to, they say as long as it s therapeutic and not dangerous, then it s allowed. There s an art room, and living room that make up the common space along with the kitchen. They have tv with basic cable and a Roku stick with all the streaming staples like Netflix, prime, and Disney+. Breakfast and lunch you re on your own for, but they prepare a dinner every night.Staff will pick up prescriptions and drive you to and from appointments, they offer group outings so you can shop for personal supplies if needed.I have no idea what the other reviewers are complaining about. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that s mentally/emotionally exhausted and needs a break from life, to ask your doctor for a referral here.

Don't think for ONE SECOND that you're going to help the day you call, you won't. Getting into a state sanctioned program takes time and there are hoops to go through, for a reason. They give you an appointment to come back and they make sure that you have NO open scripts for opiates, paperwork, paperwork, see a doctor, see a nurse, see a counselor, and this is all at 6am. You may be going through withdrawals by the time you dose, around 1pm. YOU WILL NOT GET HELP THE DAY YOU CALL!!!!! Don't think you will. If you need help NOW, go to the hospital or try Kratom. Cap is awesome but you have to put your recovery ahead of the people and the counselors. Not gonna sugar coat this subject at all.

Got my life together here some people just don t understand life is not a choice and it s not guaranteed If u get opportunities in life it can be a hit or miss and they offer a lot of benefits that s most shelters don t have and half the kids in there don t want anything good they just want a spoon in there mouth the whole way I for one learned my first month there how people come and go and typically spend 2 years tops if They can t find someone to stay with here and there. Overall good service food showers clothing towels basic things any human would need.

Pine Tree Recovery basically saved my life. I had tried contacting other rehabilitation centers seeking help to battle my addiction and was met with complicated processes just to get someone on the phone. With Pine Tree within seconds of dialing I was talking to one of their technicians, within minutes I was doing my pre-screening and insurance check, by the end of the phone call I had an arrival date set. Each day before my arrival I would receive a phone call from one of the technicians, just to see how I was doing and to prepare me for stay. I arrived at the establishment and was greeted by very welcoming and understanding staff even though I was in rough shape and terrified about being away from home, they made sure I felt safe. The detox staff were extremely thorough and attentive, the food is well prepared and delicious. During my 28 day stay I got to participate in well structured group therapy, received individual attention from a therapist and was given the tools to combat my addiction. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for help in fight alcoholism or substance abuse.

This place was really able to help me when I had a break down a few years back after my dad died. Its not a bad place if you follow the rules and focus on your treatment. If you don't and act up and fight others or staff you get put in seclusion, then they get out and leave bad ratings on the hospital and staff that tried to help them .

I was in a really low place in my life and struggled heavily with my mental health, primarily depression. I came here and they were able to get me situated with my meds, outside providers and get me on my way.

I was here in January/February of 2012. It was awesome. We watched Dirty Dancing and ate popcorn and Coke. Just a great environment. I really liked the doctors and staff. Maine has best facilities.
