My detox here was great. The staff was attentive to everyone's needs and the food was excellent. The handoff to rehab was seamless afterwards. Definitely recommend if you're at a bad spot in life and want to start making good decisions for your future!

Pine Tree Recovery basically saved my life. I had tried contacting other rehabilitation centers seeking help to battle my addiction and was met with complicated processes just to get someone on the phone. With Pine Tree within seconds of dialing I was talking to one of their technicians, within minutes I was doing my pre-screening and insurance check, by the end of the phone call I had an arrival date set. Each day before my arrival I would receive a phone call from one of the technicians, just to see how I was doing and to prepare me for stay. I arrived at the establishment and was greeted by very welcoming and understanding staff even though I was in rough shape and terrified about being away from home, they made sure I felt safe. The detox staff were extremely thorough and attentive, the food is well prepared and delicious. During my 28 day stay I got to participate in well structured group therapy, received individual attention from a therapist and was given the tools to combat my addiction. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for help in fight alcoholism or substance abuse.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

If I could give less than one star I would. I spoke over the course of 2 days and was informed that I’d have access to my phone within the residential program, as well as calls via their phone at the facility. Yes I understand I can’t just walk around with mine during the program. I was also informed that I could have visitors after a period of time. All seemed great, non lock down environment, and supportive. The moment the screening process began they not only took my phone and other belongings, but I had to plead to make one last phone call out. A disclosure stating Doctors consent to give me medication as “they deemed”. I was told zero visitation allowed. And only 2 phone calls a week under their terms on their phone. Then told that if I left the program they would hold my belongings for 48 hours until it was returned to me. I asked to speak with a supervisor about the situation and they seemed to have no clue why someone would tell me that I would be allowed such privileges. When I have witnesses on speaker phone listening to exactly what was presented for the program. They’ll lie and mislead you on the phone just to get you in the door. A great way to break trust when you are attempting to get help overcoming an alcohol addiction.

I couldn’t have asked for a more safer and well-organized environment when I suddenly had to find help. The staff had me feeling that I had all the right tools I needed once I left. I was treated, and seen, as an equal which made all the difference. I am still in contact with my fellow peers and I’m so grateful I started out my recovery journey here.

What an incredible accomplishment. I have felt so seen and heard here. The staff is absolutely incredible, shout out to Jenn, Greg, Alex and Maggie. You get out of this what you put into it, I was very vulnerable, uncomfortable at times but I felt relief after letting things out that kept me high for so long. I couldn’t recommend this program enough. The other clients also made this so enjoyable, their personalities and common struggles helped me to feel safe and confident in being myself. Thank you so much Pine Tree. You also helped my family in this process and I appreciate that.

I unfortunately have had the misfortune of visiting most (if not all) the recovery/detox centers in the Portland area and Pinetree recovery has been my best experience. The staff is kind and well educated in the field of recovery (most are in recovery themselves). The facilities are clean, well kempt, which makes the experience that much more comfortable while going through difficult and emotional times. Not to mention the food is better than most restaurants in downtown Portland. I would recommend and have recommended Pinetree Recovery to many friends and loved ones who have had struggles with addiction. All of them have come out with positive experiences as well. If you are ready to make a change in your life, give Pinetree a shot.

PTRC provides empathetic and effective care. I have benefitted from their IOP program, it was a really great way to continue care after completing a 30 day treatment program. I would recommend to any and all who are interested in bettering their lives and recovering from substance use disorder.
