About Mary Hall Freedom House

Mary Hall Freedom House uses a gender-specific approach to transforming women’s lives. Their programs include residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP).

Residential Treatment
The residential program offers 24/7 supervision in a highly structured environment designed to support women who are working through trauma, anger, and addiction issues. Clients learn new coping skills, address mental health concerns, and participate in group activities. The length of stay is dependent on each person’s needs.

Partial Hospitalization Program
This is a day-treatment program where clients participate in therapy and case management services. Clients meet five days per week for six hours at a time.

Intensive Outpatient Program
The intensive outpatient program meets three days per week for three hours at a time. Clients engage in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and skills-building classes.

As a occupant veteran at mary hall, I was discharged, I was accused of being guilty of an assault towards another veteran, the people I trusted immediately accused me of being guilty, I was arrested, and only thing I did, was mind my own business waiting to move in my apartment, and upon being released from jail, my mother told me Nicole Cox told her, I broke a chair, and had alcohol bottles in my room, that's true, but why would you tell my mother' that? She was already upset, I can tell u, I violated, but assaulting someone, not me, the chair, or chairs broke, was when, I was told I had to leave, I got angry, yes wrong for drinking totally, but I did not start the attack, that veteran did, i thought u are innocent until proven guilty, not there

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

amazing LGBTQ program

This center gave me the space I desperately needed. I felt totally seen and respected for who I am, both in my identity and my experience with addiction. The therapy was trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming, which made all the difference for me. Creative expression was a hug ... Read More

Great support & staff

This place really helped me get back on my feet after struggling with opioids due to a work injury. The medication-assisted treatment, like Suboxone, was key in keeping me stable. I could also stay in touch with my family, which was a big relief. The physical therapy session ... Read More

I Needed This

After years of hiding my use behind a fast-paced startup life, this place gave me space to actually breathe. Discreet and calm setting, which I needed. I could still check in with my team occasionally, which helped ease the transition. The CBT sessions were honestly life-cha ... Read More
