When I first arrived at ABC Addiction Treatment Center, I wasn’t sure if I could really change. The first few days were tough, but the progress came faster than I expected. Each week brought a new step forward better sleep, clearer thoughts, and more confidence. The counselors guided me patiently through every stage, helping me see how far I’d come. Looking back, the difference is huge. I left stronger, more aware, and ready to keep moving forward. This place gave me real progress and the tools to keep it going.

I was drowning. Seriously, every single day felt like I was sinking deeper into a cold, dark abyss, and no one seemed to notice, or even could help. I'd tried everything, or so I thought, clinging to fleeting hopes that always seemed to disappear. Then, out of nowhere, a lifeline appeared. This center wasn't just another place I'd heard about; it was the only place that truly pulled me out of that crushing current. They saw me, really saw me, beyond the addiction, and gave me the unyielding strength to fight my way back to shore. They didn't just save my life; they gave me a second chance, a real shot at living, that I never thought I'd get.

Aftermath is an incredible rehabilitation program that is run by truly incredible people that care for each and every one of their clients. This program has provided me with the tools needed to change my life in the best of ways. I write this review 82 days free from the pain and suffering that drugs and alcohol have wreaked havoc on my life for as long as I can remember - I just hope that if any one else is struggling to get clean and sober that they please consider Aftermath as a resource to help them build a better life for themselves. I am incredibly grateful to Matt & Jenna for being there each and every day as beacons of hope - this place is a miracle and so am I, and so are you.

Aftermath Addiction Treatment Center truly changed my life. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported, respected, and understood. The staff genuinely care about every individual who comes through their doors — they don’t just treat addiction, they help heal the person as a whole. The therapists and counselors are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, and the personalized treatment plans make a huge difference. The environment is positive, safe, and focused on real recovery and long-term success. I can honestly say that Aftermath gave me the tools, confidence, and hope I needed to rebuild my life. I’ll forever be grateful for their dedication and support. If you or a loved one is looking for help, this is the place to go.

I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious. So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them. I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are. Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down. That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder. Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

My experience at Mayflower Recovery was exceptional from start to finish. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping people begin their journey to recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and cared for on a personal level. The facility is clean, comfortable, and designed to create a peaceful environment that makes healing feel possible. The clinical team provides individualized treatment plans, and the counselors genuinely listen and help you work through the underlying issues—not just the symptoms. The group sessions were meaningful, the one-on-one support was outstanding, and the medical staff was attentive and professional. What stood out the most was the sense of community. You never feel alone here—everyone works together to lift each other up. I left Mayflower with tools, confidence, and hope for the future. I came to Bedrock on 28 April 2025 after struggling with addiction and alcohol abuse for many years. It was my third recovery. I didn’t have much hope that this one would work. I arrived. high sick and with a hangover. The intake process was simple enough and as soon as I got to the detox unit nurse Linda gave me medication to help with the detox. I was in detox for six days. it was bearable. Not enjoyable but bearable. After six days, I moved upstairs into a beautiful room. I shared a bathroom with two other girls and it was no problem. I stayed there for a total of 30 days. Those 30 days completely changed my life. At first, I didn’t believe in and didn’t trust my counselors or me. But with every day, my mind got clearer and some of what they said made sense. The medication’s helped. I’m not sure when or how but I started following the program and started doing the work and I got better. My counselor Jack was always available and I actually Started listening to him. I started trusting him.I started paying attention in group. I didn’t like what I heard -that this is lifelong and that I’ll have to do the hard work of recovery every day. But it got a little easier with every day and I started feeling better about life, about me , About a sober life. I made friends with some of the people in my group and found that I wasn’t alone with my pain, my doubts my disease. Playing ping-pong became a highlight of my days and painting became a place of peace for me. I had never painted before. I slept better and I woke up feeling good instead of guilty and ashamed. The cravings were manageable.. I cannot say enough about the techs at Bedrock. They were always available and went above and beyond to help us through difficult times and they also shared our successes with us. For real. The nurses were professional and supportive. My counselor Jack, and counselor math gave me concrete steps to follow to work my way out of a lifelong struggle. I followed those steps. Stacy and Nicole did fun activities with us and having fun sober was a new thing for me. They were wonderful. Arranging for my aftercare was not easy, but it got done. When I left after 36 days sober I started a PHP program the day after discharge. Now I’m in an IOP program once a week and I have 181 days sober and clean. Life is pretty damn beautiful. My marriage is better than it has ever been . The relationship with my children has been restored. I’m on step five and have a Sponsor in AA. I have a home group on Tuesday evenings and I look forward seeing them. The recovery work has become a natural part of my life. I live in a house now instead of a camper, and my stomach problems and headaches are gone. Bedrock saved my life my soul, my mind and I feel healthier than I have in decades. My name is Nergis and I’m an alcoholic (P.S. the food was amazing ! and Zoe’s pound class was awesome)

I came to this hospital with my husband, who has a heart condition. His surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, but I don't know how to thank everyone I've met here. They were wonderful, professional, and humble. Even Dr. Stanley is fantastic; he's so patient and takes the time to talk to his patients and explain their condition so they feel reassured and completely at ease. I thank God that we are in this hospital; it's like being in a five-star hotel. Even the food and the people who serve it are excellent. As for Emily, what a loss! She said goodbye to me like a loving sister, saying she had finished her work here. She is a real loss to the hospital; she left a wonderful impression on me. Her care for us was exceptional. I wish her continued success and may God protect her and her family. Thank you very much to everyone.

If you are ready to accept help & want to make a positive change in your life you should definitely call them. I go to the Peabody clinic & it has been a great experience. Honestly I had no expectations I think except maybe I was just another number walking through the door & that has been the furthest thing from the truth. Everyone, I mean Everyone has been amazing. They care, I honestly believe that. They want to see you succeed in your recovery. When you walk in they remember you name, they are all very pleasant, which helps me so much going to a place that have a great staff. The security staff always smile & remember peoples names (incredible), the front desk are great, they are welcoming & funny, the nurses are always very pleasant & interact with you. I have the best counselor. She is amazing & so easy to talk to. She has been a rock for me in my recovery, I can’t say enough about her. I have interacted a bit with the head counselor too & she has gone out of her way to help me when she was slammed with work & it’s when I was new to the clinic. I really appreciated that. I just want to mention the director. She has been wonderful wherever I have interacted when her. She has been pleasant, calls me by my name which is impressive to me anyway because I don’t see her much, but she remembers my name just the same. That says a lot to me about the type of person that leads the clinic. As you can tell I am a big fan of the place. They have helped me tremendously in getting over this mountain that I have been struggling with for a decade or so. When I see some of these negative reviews I don’t think it’s how 99.99% of the people going there feel. Most people only write reviews to complain. This clinic has i believe over 600 patients. Honestly if you are having a bad situation where you are not happy it’s most likely because you messed up and are paying the consequences for your own actions. We are in this clinic to begin with because of bad decisions, bad roads we chose to take. The rules won’t change from the day you decide to join to your last day after you complete the program. If you take care of your end of the deal they will live up to their end. Even if you relapse they will be there to pick you back up, encourage you and stick by you as long as it takes. I give a ton of credit & really appreciate the work that these people do. If you want help, call .. they will help you like they have everyone else.

Grateful for High Focus—18 years sober and counting. High Focus was my introduction to the 12-step program back in 2003 when I attended IOP. I’m grateful for all I learned there—it set the foundation for my recovery. When I graduated, I received a High Focus keychain, which I still have today. I’m now approaching 19 years of continuous sobriety, and I credit High Focus for giving me the tools to begin this journey. What you teach truly stays with us, and I pray everyone finds recovery sooner rather than later.

META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! The DBT approach was more helpful to me than any 1:1 therapy I had tried before. Building community and support in the group model was also very powerful. If you’re not sure about going, I’m here to say you should give it a try. You won’t regret it! -R!

I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started. Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen. I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

I came to Elevate in April of 2023, and it was such a good experience, I stuck around for another 20 months to get better at emotional regulation. Good news! Now I am better at it! This is a great place to get better if you’re the mood to get better, and it’s even a great place if you’re not. The staff here genuinely cares about you, and if you’re willing to open up, they’ll do whatever they can to make things better. So give it a try if you’re on the fence! It sure worked for me.

Came from Canada to have spine surgery with Dr Jay Zampini. It was an excellent experience. Dr Zampini is a consummate professional as are all of his staff. The hospital was immaculate and the staff are all very eager to please. Of special note is Alice Robert my International Patient Coordinator. Alice is a rockstar. She was incredibly helpful throughout the process and was always ready to assist.

Two Years Later — With Love and Gratitude, My name is Samantha Garcia—though Sam was always just fine with me. It’s been almost two years since I last saw your faces, and while I only remember one name—Kristin—that’s beside the point. I’m writing this as if I’m speaking to each and every one of you individually, because that’s how you treated me: personally, patiently, and with kindness. I imagine you hear comeback stories often, so consider this another chapter in the book. I never fell again. After I left you, I didn’t slip back into old routines like everyone expected. I stood brave—just like you taught me. I came out here and gave it everything I had. And I did it. It started with small victories: waking up without feeling like a piece of shit, showing up to work on time with no excuses. Then life threw me a curveball: my mom was diagnosed with early-onset dementia. I won’t lie—it was tempting to pick up a bottle of whiskey and take it to the face. But I knew if I did, I wouldn’t get back up. Not like I had now. And she needed me. Still does. You taught me how to sit with silence, how to breathe through shame, how to speak gently to the parts of me I used to drown. You gave me back my name. And with a heart that now knows how to hold pain without absorbing it— I enrolled in an accelerated nursing program at the New England Institute of Technology. I turned pain into knowledge, anger into conviction, and grief into love. I left you with a plan—and now I return with the result. In 4 months, come February 2026—my two-year mark—I will be Samantha Garcia, RN. I wanted you to know that your work matters. That I carry your kindness with me. That every time I chose peace over chaos, I think of those that steadied me when I couldn’t stand. And Kristin—if you see this, you did your job. And you did it well. Sending you all blessings, and warm holiday wishes from your former alumni. With love, Sam

my youngest son who is 20 months old saw Dr. Semmes and her amazing team yesterday for his first well child appt at this office and wow we had such an amazing experience! we booked it a few months ago when we first moved back to MA and it was definitely worth the wait! My son has in recent months (after several ear infections) become very fearful of doctors and dentists however it ended up being a really positive, FUN experience for him, his dad & i. they had a “child life specialist” who provided our son with toys to play with during the visit and had amazing techniques to distract him while he received his immunizations (the nurse who administered the immunizations also had great techniques!!) They both were so sweet and understanding. great communication from everyone, clean office and friendly front desk staff! very grateful and relieved! i definitely plan on bringing my next baby here who i am having in feb 🤍 thank you!

New Horizons saved my life. The staff at NH believed in me and cared for me before I was able to truly believe in myself. They are the only outside agency that has NEVER let me down. If you let them help you they will be all the love and support you need until you are living your best life and have learned how to love yourself. You are not alone and there are wonderful humans in this world and those at NH will give you the true hope we all have been searching for in humanity.
