SHOUT OUT ONCE AGAIN FOR THE LEAVENWORTH VA.I have been experiencing severe lower left back pain since Wednesday. When it hits, a sunami! Can't move fast, sit easy, walk , without severe pain. Pain meds, TENS Unit, heating pad. Helps some.Decided to go the the VA Emergency Room for the first time ever. In and out in 60 minutes.From reception to pharmacy, they were outstanding. Definite 10 on a 1 low to 10 high scale!My ER Nurse was Debbie. Very personable and experienced. The Doctor was Dr. Glen Georger. Diagnosed quickly and prescribed a shot of my favorite- MORPHINE BABY! And a steroid shot. Gave me a RX for prednisone too.The pharmacist and tech were awesome.I am thankful we have a VA hospital as Dwight D. Eisenhower Eastern Kansas VA that is clean, orderly and great service. THANK YOU VHA.

I was recently hospitalized for a relatively minor medical condition. The company I work for has an arduous process for returning to work after being laid off for medical reasons.I desperately needed to be seen on short notice so that I could return to work. The staff at the Lincoln V.A. worked with me diligently. My primary care physician, Sasha Grantski, went above and beyond her normal duties to "squeeze" me in for an appointment.Thanks to her and the Lincoln V.A. staff, I am back to work. I am extremely grateful.

I have to transport a young man that goes there quite a bit

I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

Great place if you have an alcohol or drug problem to help you with getting back to your old self

This Center is the best in Omaha probably the best in the country from the staff to the guest or clients that reside there I'm from California and I have never experienced such kindness, humbleness people with good hearts that are willing to help you overcome what challenges you may have. If u surrender follow the suggestions they will meet u more than half the way, if u truly want a better life or u know someone who wants recovery this is the place,I can love, I'm employed,my attitude and relationships with other humans vastly improved,come live sober and come enjoy the journey of life

Effective treatment center with decades of successful alumni who help the residents succeed. Omaha is also a great place that has plenty of 2nd chance careers and affordable living. I refer anyone that is having a tough go at giving up the alcohol/drug addiction to here.

The staff does care very much about what they do

I ve been coming here for almost 4 years. It s helped me so much, it s a clean and well maintained establishment , the staff is amazing and nonjudgmental. Wouldn t pick any other place, highly recommend.

I've tried a few methadone clinics, this one is the best I've seen. They do have a few rules that seem rather stupid, but they have gov oversight, so ya have to deal with that kind of BS anywhere you go. They are definitely the nicest and the friendliest out of all the ones T have been to.Update... the staff that you interact with i.e. the counclers and the nurses are definitely very nice and appear to be honestly intrested in the clients wellbeing, however it took a few months...like 6 or 8 months for the office staff to get my VA insurance worked out and I had to pay cash in the meantime. That was over 2 years ago and they still have not re-embersed a single Penney however I verified with the Va the were paid twice once by me and once by the Va. Should be a law against that sort of thing. I believe it is called fraudulent billing.... If they end up owning you money don't expect to see it soon...however if you owe them and can not pay the will start detoxing you, they did to me when I told them I get paid in 3 days ... they detoxed me for those 3 days. Good luck if you have no other options.

Great place. Great counclers. Clean. They have clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. They have the new check in mobile system so it saves your spot in line. They are fair. Some of the rules are a little silky but they don't set those, Corporate does. So it's not the staffs fault at this location. They probably saved my life. The doctors is very helpful and understanding. She listens. The nurse is a godsend. And the counclers are top of the line.

Everyone at Blue Valley is so amazingly kind and helpful. I have been going there for years and still, find it to be wonderfully helpful every time I go there. This is the place to go if you need any mental health help, they will get you on the right track.

My child going here for counseling with Jen. She is wonderful, very supportive , and encouraging. My child has made great progress over the last year, and looks forward to going. I'm very happy with there services!.

I meet with Sarah every week, she is a delight and always listens, talks to me with patience and understanding. We get on very well and I would recommend Blue Valley to anyone that needs a hand.

BAART is an incredible place that helped me turn my life around. Thanks to my counselor, Wayne, I am now four years sober. I have a successful career, and each day gets better! Jody is incredible. She has a huge work load and still manages to always have a smile on her face and somehow ALWAYS be attentive and available. She definitely made me feel comfortable and not ashamed. And because of her support, I remain sober today. Thank you Jody : )

I was extremely hesitant to seek help, as most men are. We have a push through attitude, however I was at my last break where I decided to drive up to Baart and let down my walls. They helped me immediately that very morning and ever since my life has completely changed for the better. Thank you so much, the staff deserves a raise every chance they get!

I was there in 201--2015.. I absolutely loved it there. The groups the staff. They made recovery fun. I'm currently 7 years clean and now I work at a treatment facility also.
