I think this place is absolutely amazing... A bed, food, shower, a safe place to get clean and healthy, AMAZING staff who truly care about what they do and help in any way they can, a great stepping stone for integration back into the world after inpatient rehab. I'm so blessed, honored, and grateful to have been accepted here and have the wonderful team I have on my side and all the wonderful woman I'm here with helping each other this way.. MCCA mcdonough was my 4th rehab and probably my last chance to get sober. It was the best place for me to come to in the state I was in and honestly Jenni, Heather, and Michelle are THE best counselors I’ve ever met and worked with out of all the rehabs I’ve been to. They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. And they all go above and beyond to help any client with whatever they can. They are the reason I have remained so connected to the program, as well as helping me get back on my feet and in sober living and building a community and network in recovery. I have seen some positive reviews here but I’ve also seen some negative, and it’s a shame those people didn’t have the experience I did because these counselors not only saved my life but they have changed it and me for the better. I don’t know where I would be right now without their help, guidance, and assistance, and I fully plan on doing everything in my power to stay clean so I can come back one day, share my story for their groups to show that recovery is possible, the program works, and if you allow these amazingly generous women to help you that you too can have a life beyond your wildest dreams.

I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. This place completely saved my life, it taught me a new way to live and that I am a man, worthy of love and respect. Since there, in 2017, I had one slip up about a year after I graduated, but that was almost 8 years ago now. Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. I have worked in the welding industry and slowly worked my way to where now I run a million dollar welding training program and I try pass along the same message I learned there. You are a Man, or Woman, worthy of love and respect, with hard work and dedication you can have anything you set your mind to.

I was mandated by a judge to go there for 3 months. I spent 7 1/2 months there and it was the best thing to happen to me. I am clean and sober since 12/3/23 . I am indebted to all the staff and fellow Brothers Christopher for the sobriety I now enjoy. I haven't had this much sober time since 1986.

The counseling center staff are truly dedicated at providing excellent rehabilitation services. I have been to an inpatient facility where this was not the case, and have nothing but positive things to say about the counseling center. Dair, Tim, Kristen and Kristine helped me build strong mental habits and skills for managing the emotional stress that led to my use. Wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars

Wanted to take a moment to dote on counselor Richelle Atkins. She has been instrumental in helping me change my life and work through my addiction. When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. I am a disabled veteran and have been seen at the Goshen VA Clinic regularly since 2016. The care there has always been excellent. It is a small clinic, so you have to adapt to their resources, like, that the lab work is only done in the mornings, and the My Healthy Vet self-service kiosk doesn't work, but the reception staff have always been very good.

I gotta say … I went to Arm Acres in early 2000 I was 17 going to 18 years old …. I’m so thankful for them they help me I wish I can see the stuff in my time again and tell them thank you .. Also I was inpatient for 90 day .. I had the choice to go back home or go to another program for longer term .. cause the choice I make in that time in my life went to the other program I can say I’m alive clean for many years now .. Love Lexington!! Started on 412 Main Street, they got me into the methadone clinic and both places saved my life! I’ve been sober for 3 1/2 years thanks to this program. The groups are great, the counselors are the absolute best in the area, the doctors and nurses care about not only your dose, but how your feeling and if you have any issues they bring you right to the doctor! Been going here 3 years. Some of these bad reviews are ridiculous. My whole first year I gave dirty drug test every single time with no consequences other the. Being checked on in a compassionate manner. This is the only reason I am clean today. I was able to do it on my own terms. And I have been to dozens of other treatment facility’s and clinics. Not a single one worked. I owe my life to the people as well as my gf who has about three years clean from these people. Addicts don’t need to be in a cage just a hand to hold as we figure out life.

When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.

I felt I had to write this review because the negative ones don’t reflect the truth of my experience. From the moment I arrived, every single person—from security and the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors—was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. The hospital itself was spotless, and I never once felt like “just another patient.” Instead, I was cared for as if I were a family member. My surgery went smoothly, and I was supported every step of the way. I am overjoyed with the level of care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need.
