My son has been working with Morris, a Recovery Coach at Mountainside for the past eight months and the experience has been exceptional for us both! Morris truly understands how to support recovery in a real world, day to day way. The coaching goes further than check-ins. It includes accountability, life skills, emotional support, and sometimes honest hard conversations. My son has learned how to manage challenges, make healthier choices and is learning how to stay focused on his long-term goals. The progress he’s made has been remarkable and I credit much of that to the consistent well informed coaching he receives. Not only does Morris provide coaching to my son, his expertise extends to me as well. He is highly responsive and always follows through. Mountainside’s Recovery coaching is more than a service. It feels like it’s a true partnership. As a mom navigating this process, I am grateful for the guidance, structure, the encouragement and situational advice Morris provides. I would recommend their coaching without hesitation to any family who’s looking for meaningful sustained support around sobriety. This has made a significant difference for my family. Early recovery, albeit exciting, can be fragile, and I cannot imagine having gone through this experience without the coaching Morris provides.

Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.

You can tell that the staff genuinely cares about the people they work with and wants to see them do well. I’ve seen firsthand how much effort everyone puts in, and it really makes a difference. NJRC is genuinely one of my favorite places on Earth. I've been to three other treatment centers and none of them compare to NJRC. The group leaders, therapists, supervisors, case managers, clients, and everyone else are amazing. Jeremy and Rachel Kornmann are especially special to me. Jeremy is a supervisor (I think) and Rachel is my therapist. They contribute to making NJRC feel like a safe and comfortable space. Therapists' doors are always open when they aren't in session so that clients can talk to them whenever they need. I know every single therapist at NJRC personally and they are all exceptional. NJRC has helped keep me sober, which is the greatest gift. I thought for the longest time that nothing would help my addiction, but NJRC pulled through. I could not be more grateful.

The reason I’m giving this place a 5-star review is because of the amazing people I met while I was staying there. First, I want to give a big shout-out to a few of the PCCs and staff members who truly made a difference. Stacy—thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness. I truly hope you achieve everything you’re working toward. You would make an incredible counselor. The way you treated us with respect, compassion, and genuine care says so much about your work ethic and your character. Ash and Mike S - thank you for your patience and for always treating us with love, kindness, and respect. You made us feel like human beings, and that means more than you know. Stephan, Johnny, Gary, and Antwo—thank you for everything. The list of people I appreciate could honestly go on. Joe—you’re the man! Thank you for helping me even when you didn’t have to. And to my counselor, James—I’m truly grateful that our paths crossed. Thank you for your guidance and support. To anyone considering coming here: if you’re serious about getting help, staying focused on your goals, and working on your sobriety, you can absolutely succeed here. One thing I learned is that treating others with respect goes a long way. This isn’t a resort, so don’t expect a different meal every day or luxury accommodations. Like any program, there are some downsides, but for me, there were far more positives than negatives. I left with valuable lessons, support, and hope. An amazing group of individuals helping those of us who not only want or need help, but are there helping us work through not only our addictions but emotions. 10 out of 10 Would recommend if you’re in need… pretty much anything that will make you feel better about yourself by helping you… understand yourself. And it’s nice to sit in a group of peers judgement free. There is nothing but love pouring out of this place. And as a side note after reading lower rated posts. I have no insurance and they have done absolutely nothing more than help me and be there for me. Please if you feel you need some help, give them a call. It’s worth it.

This place saved my life. Full stop. Incredibly caring professionals across all functions and disciplines. I am so grateful we found them. Their care and attention towards me was constant, deep, and real. They really provide the peace and atmosphere that allowed the Doctors and I to do incredible amounts of work and healing. The Doctors too were incredible, talented, and providing a very high standard of care. Food was amazing (yes it's hospital food, adjust your expectations a bit). I had steak, burritos, pho, Thai, lasagna, pasta, bbq, burgers, and more. Across 6 weeks I think they only repeated a dish 4-6 times. And there's a salad bar and panetta/sandwich bar every meal. Many kids ate grilled cheese every meal instead of grown-up food and vegetables, so I would take their complaints with a pinch of salt, hah. Reading the other reviews is amusing. Bear in mind the complaints are coming from sick people, and it is frustrating to not find a silver bullet for very real and severe illnesses. Some people enter thinking this is a spa vacation. It is not. Your healing will require you to do work on yourself as well. The more you invest in the process the more long term success you will realize (I am not a Doctor, but my peers who invested in recovery had similar progress to myself)

Silver Hill took me in when I was at the lowest point in my life. I went to several different programs during my stay and was treated with respect and care the whole time. There were the usual tiny wrinkles that comes with being in a hospital system but overall it was a wonderful hospital that has a lot of different specialties. I would highly recommend if you can afford it or have insurance coverage. I worked with Dr. Emily Haas and Micaela Scully and would also recommend them for trauma care.

Ascendant rehab truly exceeded my expectations. The amount of support given for growth is unmeasured. I did both detox and rehab, and in a matter of week the growth I experienced afforded me the potential to live a healthy, sober life in longevity. Clean and well run. No bad smells. Saw a dinner meal. Looked good. Servers were attentive. No one wants to be there, but if you had to be there, this is a good option.

Originally at Longview CH after a small stroke and Longview could not have any better. A second more severe stroke happened and now transferred to HeritageCH. Only 2nd day in Heritage but again everyone had been very helpful,friendly and helping with new adjustments.
