About Recovery Unlimited

Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Recovery Unlimited offers addiction treatment options to those who are battling drug and alcohol addictions. They offer detox services that’re still medically supervised and require medication, but don’t use methadone in their actual treatment. They also offer intensive outpatient and standard outpatient care. I was impressed with how organized their website was and how much detail went into each treatment offering.

Once you’ve successfully detoxed and want to step down to outpatient care, you can take on their intensive outpatient program in order to beat tougher forms of addiction. That’s because their program is twelve weeks long and requires nine hours of treatment per week. It’s more intensive than standard outpatient programs.

They also provide medication management, DUI therapy, trauma treatment, and eye movement desensitization reprocessing, or EMDR. One important thing to note as well is that they do treat those individuals who suffer from co-occurring mental health issues that are coupled with their addiction. If you require residential care, however, you’ll need to be referred to another clinic.

I have to retract my earlier review. After talking to Mrs. Dawn and Mrs. Tina I realized I may have over reacted, these two ladies are the best. If you ever need someone to listen those are the two you wanna talk to. As far as Mrs. Jessica goes, I'll have to talk to her🤔🥴🤨😡

Accepted Insurance

Recovery Unlimited works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Men and women in Colorado have access to customized individual therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. These sessions explore your life experiences and patterns of substance abuse. Your therapist helps you recognize harmful behaviors and thoughts that empower you to make positive changes for lasting recovery.

During trauma therapy, you explore the impact that a traumatic event has had on your life. Your therapist can help you develop strategies to manage the emotional and physical symptoms while improving emotional regulation. This improves your overall quality of life.

Based on the couple's needs, couples therapy may take different forms. Your therapist will probably take an integrated approach, using techniques from several methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic couple's therapy. The goal is to work through challenges and strengthen your relationship.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing

During family therapy sessions, family members in Colorado work with therapists to understand addiction as a disease that has affected the entire family. This approach fosters empathy and reduces blame on any one member. Promoting this collective effort helps to support the recovery process.

Caroline at front desk has been extremely helpful and informative both, along side professional and friendly, helping me with a otherwise scattered and unruly schedule, get the appointments and changes needed accomplished...

Id give it negative stars if I could. Completely unprofessional, they have the audacity to think they have the authority to trump an elected judge's rulings, unreal. Most definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. they don't understand that their unprofessionalism completely messes up some ones RECOVERY

I was first registered and started involvement here in early-mid 2015. The clinicians have changed but the drive of all of the ones I have met here since has been the same. As to say, the drive of the place has been the same. I worked more exclusively with the clinicians on my first attempt to start my recovery in 2015 and involvement was spotty in between then and now, but only up to the point when I chose to start recovering. Even then, I was attending other places primarily for treatment, but the problems associated with provisions of this sort of health maintenance runs together for me. I don't hold back on speaking my problem to anyone useful in providing care toward them and so I tend to make the care of them the job of any professional coming close what would typically certify someone in this area, but I only really expect thought from the individuals certified to provide me answers. Ironically, you should really only expect answers from any you are contracted with at such explicitly stated time of the contract, but being as how I have little-no humility I actually EXPECT people to go outside the guidelines as my friend, if nothing else. This is a complex area of study... PEOPLE, and so results are not the same for anybody to the next and therefore it's not a simple job keeping up, however this business, I believe, will never fall behind. They offer primary care now and peer support as well as the standardized outpatient substance abuse treatment and let me say that those additions are a major improvement considering the small allowance for variance in the state guidelines in ability to tailor this type of care aimed at the issues associated with substance abuse treatment and so id have to say that these people, and practically all associated with this type of work within this region do as good a job as can be expected. The truth is, recovery comes down to your own participation within it and is not something you can turn off as walking out the building. Values are of the utmost importance to focus on and so it becomes paramount to follow through with any task as your most recent outspoken developments obligate us to, just as we have claimed the commitment. There is ALWAYS room for exception but only behind solid reason. The most sound reasons tend to come with a decent balance of rationale and logic. Privacy helps us hide our inconsistencies but should never be relied upon for that so self-exposure is best done readily and defense is ok to have (moderately). Seek FIRST to understand and if not fully grasping, don't proceed, keep working and exercising the methods of learning until communication with "people" presents sound understanding and because numerus response it is not only yielded from numerus people, but numerus attempts, expect to find it beneficial to present and represent to the same people as well as others less attached to your goals. It's surprising what you'll find when you are looking, so look for the best in others as you hope for yourself. Yeah, I trust them.
