They have helped me with absolutely everything! And I mean absolutely everything! they were a godsend for me! From therapy to medication to a case manager to helping me with rides and doctors they even found a way for me to get my medication delivered. You can also do all this over the phone on zoom so you don't have to worry about getting there if you don't have a ride. Everyone is so kind and friendly! And they take Medicaid which made everything free to me and it pretty much saved my life! I have nothing but positive thoughts and love for Step Seven. I have been apart of the community for 15 months now and I can honestly say God and Step Seven saved my life. I was in a bad place and bad shape and didn’t think help existed. I gave the director a call when I got out of prison and was in a home that night. Over the 15 months I have watched my life transform. I have restored relationships, I have built a true foundation, I have real brothers who have my back, I am a brand new man. It’s not only me that this change has happened too. I’ve seen handfuls of men change their lives for the best here and I can say firsthand God loves Step Seven cause the stories I’ve witnessed of where people were to where they are now is nothing short of amazing. If you want to change your life it’s not too late and you can be freed from your addictions through the help of Step Seven.

Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points.
Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own.
The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist.
Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment.
Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients.
If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet.

I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!

WOW!!! > Healing Pines Recovery is truly something special. I’ve been through other programs before, but nothing compares to the level of care, knowledge, and compassion I experienced here. From day one, I felt like more than just another client — I was part of a small, supportive community where every person, staff and client alike, genuinely cares about your recovery.
Because of the small client number, there’s so much one-on-one time with counselors and staff. Each team member is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of recovery — many have walked this path themselves, which makes their insight and empathy feel real and grounded. The program isn’t “one size fits all” — it’s completely tailored to you, blending clinical therapy, spiritual work, and 12-step approaches in whatever way fits your journey best.
The property itself is breathtaking — 40 acres of peace, with trails that feel designed for sunrises and sunsets. The living spaces are comfortable and spacious, and you never feel cramped or overlooked. And then there are the animals — three miniature donkeys (Kiwi, Andy, and Quill!) who are genuinely therapeutic and always seem to know when you need a moment of quiet connection. Plus, a few amazing dogs and cats that add a comforting sense of home.
The curriculum is top-notch — both challenging and deeply healing. I especially loved the weekly music and art therapy sessions that gave us a creative way to process the tougher parts of recovery. Physical fitness is also a big focus here — we went to the gym five days a week, and Zach helped design personalized workout plans to rebuild strength and confidence. On top of that, there’s an indoor and outdoor pickleball court (yes, two!) and even a frisbee golf course, which we used for group therapy. There’s something powerful about talking through life while throwing a frisbee under the Colorado sky.
Evenings often ended with fireside chats — open, judgment-free conversations where we could just be ourselves, laugh, and remember what real connection feels like. For me, those moments redefined what it means to have fun and feel safe in sobriety.
What really sets Healing Pines apart, though, is the staff. Paul, the founder, has built an incredible team of people who radiate love, knowledge, and kindness. You can tell they’re here for the right reasons — their dedication and selflessness shine through in everything they do.
Healing Pines Recovery changed my life. If you’re questioning whether it’s the right fit for you, it probably is. Give Paul a call — and if you need to talk to someone who’s been there, tell him to pass along my number. This place is pure magic, and I’ll be forever grateful for what it gave me. 100/10!

This place is the best thing since Color Television! 😁 Seriously though, this place in and of itself.. was a contributing factor to which saved my life in the sense that when I knew ‘I was done’.. I had the BEST support & amazing championing from some amazing people sharing a common goal of maintaining their sobriety while putting their focus on their physical wellbeing and self esteem in their bodies and minds rather than just the ‘mumbo-jumbo’ of traditional, socially-conditioned methods of recovery in addiction and, having said being championed; I’d like to pay a respectable nod to a specific person, Carson.. whom by all accounts went out of the ordinary to see me thru a rather unorthodox necessity for assistance at a time when I was on the right path, yet.. just simply needed a hand-up and a simple ‘break’ and was obliged to help make a difference in my path and how I launched into my life of recovery and fitness! As a result of continuity and perseverance in this said path.. I now have the privilege and utmost pleasure of saying I’m a volunteer & will be soon be of service to the community within, and look forward to continuing my journey in my own recovery and the journey of others in their journey of growth and success within their lives as they pursue their fitness goals and aspirations as well! I had the opportunity to help with some service work and lent my time to clean some of the workout equipment, specifically the medicine balls, to which are highly utilized by many, and after approximately 32 hours of deep cleaning.. many more are using this equipment more often as they look brand new now! You can see the picture attached! ENJOY USING THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU COME IN TO WORKOUT 🏋️♂️ & MAY YOUR BODIES BE WELL & WITH YOU!

From a parent perspective-
I am so incredibly grateful to Supervisor Kevin Cullen for his compassion, understanding and expertise in the field. I really appreciate the time Kevin took to gather all the detailed information needed in order for authorization for admittance. His understanding of the complexities that were present in our specific situation shows his ability to provide the best possible support and services that UC Health is known for in Colorado. Kevin Cullen is a great representation of CeDar and UC Health as a whole. I am hopeful that this is the beginning of an amazing journey to a healthy path for my adult child.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about providing excellent patient care. The level of care and support I received was exceptional, and it was clear that patient well-being is a top priority here. The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained.
One thing that really stood out was the convenience of having a great cafeteria and a Starbucks right inside the building. It made a stressful situation much more comfortable for both patients and visitors.
I highly recommend HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge to anyone looking for high-quality healthcare and outstanding customer service.

I could write a novel about how amazing my experience was at Gallus but instead I will provide the cliffnotes. I have been drinking every day (a lot) for the past 25 years. I finally hit rock bottom and knew it was time to stop getting my ass kicked by alcohol and fight back. My nephew went to Healing Pines for rehab and I decided to do the same even though I live in NC. My support system did comprehensive research on the best place to detox in the vicinity before going to rehab and found this place. I checked in for a 7 day rehab with extreme anxiety and apprehensiveness but within the first few hours of being there I felt so welcomed and knew this was the right place to be.
The next 7 days will always be a week I will never forget and one of the best of my life. Gallus only cares for a maximum of 7 individuals at a time and during my visit the most patients there were 3 so the care you get is constant and they will provide you anything you need to heal before moving on to rehab. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable and truly care about the well being of their patients. I became close friends with them all and will always be grateful for how they helped me to move on with the next and best phase of my life. Prior to my visit I had dozens of hours of therapy, none of which helped. I can unequivocally say I was given over $3K worth of effective therapy in the short time I was there. When I left it was bittersweet and I cried half way to rehab knowing I will not see the staff again, whom I consider some of my new closest friends. Obviously I highly recommend this place and guarantee you won't find somewhere better. Thank you to everyone at Gallus for giving me another chance in life.
