The clinicians and staff are excellent! I would highly recommend Palmer Lake Recovery. Their multi faceted approach to help those struggling with addiction is amazing. My only complaint would be about the facilities, there are definitely some issues that need to be addressed in that regard. Having said that, I can t speak highly enough about the treatment provided at Palmer Lake.

Levels of care include medical detox, residential, partial hospita | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I m writing this as a parent. After researching several residential facilities it became apparent Peaks in Colorado Springs stood out from the others. We were specifically looking for mental health treatment. From start to finish at their facility there was always involvement in what was going on, (with my adult daughter s permission of course). Having caring and knowledgeable people to help through an incredibly hard time was needed and so appreciated. Through different stages of her care there was visitation, phone calls and weekly Zoom type meetings where families of clients could talk together with a therapist about highs, lows or concerns. The hardest thing to do was feeling like you are handing over your loved one at such a vulnerable time and not knowing what s going on. Peaks has so much compassion in knowing that. Thank you to all who went above and beyond. From inquiring to admissions to all the financial stuff to treatment to food.Thank you for your tenderness and kindness.

IT'S A YES. JUST GO.Unfortunately, an issue at home meant my stay ended early - there was a tragic miscommunication amongst staff the day before as well, which they handled with the utmost integrity. It was certainly the only snafu in my experience, and it rightfully belongs in the "sh*t happens" category. Staff had the humility and courage to own the mistake, and that willingness alone was enough to know that I had come to a place full of people who are truly the real deal when it comes to mental health.I left because I had to - not because I wanted to. In fact, I was planning on extending 30 days to complete their PHP, but life called me back home.Make no mistake - were it not for having to leave to handle something horrific back home (I'm from the other side of the country), I would still be there. I woke up this morning aching to go back to the safety, the compassion, the grace, and the mercy of Peaks. The staff are beyond wonderful. They sat with me through the darkest day of my life, and did nothing but love me. I can't describe how supported I felt. I could literally *feel* the empathy of the clinicians, nurses, and medical providers who sat with me and held space through the worst two panic attacks I've ever had.My housemates and I, and especially my roommate, wove a web of support and belonging I had never experienced. (Prior to admission, I literally could not get out of bed or do anything remotely social - I was even finding it hard to leave the house). I had the BEST time being part of a community, which gave me new confidence, and reassurance that I could get back into the game of life.I'm a therapist myself and I would 100% recommend Peaks as a committed, compassionate, caring healing space of the very highest quality. These people have their sh*t together.I have never encountered a place full of people who truly WANT to be there for you. Imagine being asked multiple times per day by staff if there is anything you need to feel supported. Being surrounded by people who know and care whether you've eaten that day, how you slept last night, and whether you need anything else to feel safe was pretty mind-boggling.I would trust Peaks to treat my nearest and dearest with zero hesitation. It will be the only mental health treatment center to which I refer my clients. Thank God for Peaks.Certainly I will forget to name some of the incredible staff, but Faith, Kinnley, Clint, Kara, Holly, Angela, Dr. Nichols, Sasha, JUDY, Cindy, Kyle, Pema, Julia, Chef, Taylor, Tara, Logan (x2), Heather, Eric, Marissa, the various therapists who led group, Bobby, Max in admissions, and Rachel - thank you for giving me a home, and at long last, an accurate mirror. Thank you also for tolerating my dirty blue hair and my massive disco fruit snuggie. I miss everyone already.Although I only got to stay for 10(ish) of the 30 days I had planned, the changes in me are real. I came into Peaks as a 47 year-old adult child, and left as a grown-up.Thank you, Peaks, for turning me back into me. Thank you for restoring my dignity. I will carry a piece of you in my heart always with immense gratitude. There is something spiritual in the particles and energy at this place that truly brought me back to life.

Healing Pines was our fourth attempt at rehab for a loved one, and to be honest, I came in worn down, skeptical, and guarded. From the very first call with Paul, something felt different. He gave me over an hour of his time across two conversations. In a space that often feels transactional, speaking directly with the founder instead of a sales rep made all the difference. Paul s patience, clarity, and steady confidence set a new tone for me right out of the gate. What sets Healing Pines apart for us is their Dual-Diagnosis approach. Their tailored, thoughtful program focuses on healing the underlying pain, not just managing the surface behavior. And just as importantly, they actively involve families in the process. Sunday visits to the ranch and Monday virtual support sessions helped me feel connected and supported in ways I hadn t before. The ranch's setting is beautiful, the facilities are top-notch, and the staff are genuine. Everything you find online from Paul s intro video, to the reviews and resources listed on their website accurately reflects what you ll experience here: care, intention, and real hope.I wouldn t wish the journey of addiction on anyone, but if you or someone you love is facing it, I can wholeheartedly say Healing Pines is a place of real possibility and healing.Thank you, Paul and the entire Healing Pines team. Your work matters, and we are deeply grateful. One Love

When we decided to send my son to Sandstone it was by far the hardest decision of my life. With that said, in our case it was the correct decision. It was a hard experience for both him and us, but he said the staff truly cared for the kids and their recovery. It showed upon his return and we got our son back. It s been a year since he was sent to Sandstone. It hasn t always been easy, we have had setbacks, but they have been rare. He is currently in a leadership role in his sobriety group and is doing well in school. He has also been part of several panels about teen substance abuse. I am very proud of where my son is currently, but this journey back started a year ago in Sandstone.

Their residential program ranges from 30 days to 90 days, depending on the severity of symptoms. Mountain Springs Recovery provides substance abuse treatment in Monum | Treatments Programs | Hands down an incredible, comfortable, and supporting facility. I checked myself into MSR in December for a 30 day rehab rehabilitation visit. I have struggled with drugs and alcohol for 21 years, and I can now proudly say after my treatment at MSR that I am six months clean and sober and have the best life I could imagine. starting from the director, John, to the front staff like Tawny and Celine, to Ashley and Teresa, who all helped the stay there feel like home and enjoyable. I cannot say this without any more honest truth that this facility helped me get my life back. The director John Aicher runs a very smooth and accommodating program where he personally speaks to each individual resident and ensuring the fulfillment in their stay. If you or a loved one are in need of recovery. I highly suggest Mountain Springs Recovery.

I recently completed my treatment at Mountain Springs Recovery, and it was wonderful. The facility is a short drive from the mountains, and the range is visible from multiple areas which makes for a great backdrop for anyone seeking recovery.
My flight was delayed the day of my intake, so I didn't get into Colorado Springs airport until after midnight. The staff still happily picked me up from the airport and was very prompt about completing documentation necessary. Every one of the BHTs were so kind and helpful. I had only positive experiences with all of the BHTs, and all of them are very kind. Not just from a professional standpoint, but also just good company in case I was waiting for meds, provider, etc. I will give special shoutout to Ashley and Zach, for they both have incredible energy and always stay positive.
The facility is what it is described as, and the only downfall is that in the winter months, you do need to pack accordingly because a lot of the walkways in between buildings are outside and uncovered. All in all, it's a very easy place to navigate because the buildings travel in a circle from the front desk area.
I also really love this place because I didn't have to disconnect. I work remotely, and I couldn't find a good time to take a good length of time out of my schedule without feeling completely halted in my business. And while I understand some other treatment centers restrict internet and phone access to "make clients fully immerse in the program," I do not believe that to have been the case at MSR. With keeping the connection to the outside world both professionally and personally, it actually made my experience better because it prevented me from getting stir-crazy and made communications and planning aftercare a lot easier. IOP was planned with my case manager there, but determining specific groups, locations, and other personal plans for recovery and support, I liked having the available internet access to be able to structure my life after leaving.
I cannot recommend this place enough. John, the director, is always so on top of operations and was very prompt about addressing any concerns or tasks that needed to be completed. If I brought something up to staff, they all helped where they could, even if it was keeping proficient communication between staff turn-overs. If it wasn't being addressed as quickly as was necessary or I had further questions, it was a well-known statement that you could always bring it up at the community meeting, or above all else, "Talk to John." I've never had this level of interaction with someone in that high of a position, whether it be a dean, a boss, etc. To have him be so amicable and helpful was a great resource.
I could give an individual shoutout to all of the facilitators for different reasons, but there are two that really stand out to me. Both Al and Xavier are incredible facilitators, have their own experiences, and have a lot of wisdom about what they are teaching outside of the material/topic that they were discussing on any given day. I've talked to both of them by interacting in groups and outside of groups. Their energies are so consistent, so it's easy to see their genuineness of character.

Diversus stands alone as the most awesome mental health and substance abuse treatment in the springs because the staff is friendly and professional, they offer a multitude of services, they have a range of professionals with various levels of licensing (anyone can find the right professional for for them), they take many insurances including Medicaid, they have several facilities around town, and their facilities are clean and well staffed. The staff possess just the right amount of caring about the client and knowledge of the wide variety of mental health, substance abuse, and court ordered education and therapy services they offer for their clients. The staff are absolutely a breath of fresh air to the 4 other places I tried to get services at before i found Diversus. The therapists and professionals of all levels are licensed by the state.I highly recommend Diversus over the other mental health and substance abuse treatment places I've tried. At Diversus you can walk in at some of their locations in Colorado Springs and get an Intake the same-day. My Intake was completed within a couple hours of arriving & started the services I needed the same day.For some services they even have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you home!I have only heard positive feedback from clients I've talked with. The clinicians have changed but the drive of all of the ones I have met here since has been the same. As to say, the drive of the place has been the same. I worked more exclusively with the clinicians on my first attempt to start my recovery in 2015 and involvement was spotty in between then and now, but only up to the point when I chose to start recovering. Even then, I was attending other places primarily for treatment, but the problems associated with provisions of this sort of health maintenance runs together for me. I don't hold back on speaking my problem to anyone useful in providing care toward them and so I tend to make the care of them the job of any professional coming close what would typically certify someone in this area, but I only really expect thought from the individuals certified to provide me answers. Ironically, you should really only expect answers from any you are contracted with at such explicitly stated time of the contract, but being as how I have little-no humility I actually EXPECT people to go outside the guidelines as my friend, if nothing else. This is a complex area of study... PEOPLE, and so results are not the same for anybody to the next and therefore it's not a simple job keeping up, however this business, I believe, will never fall behind. They offer primary care now and peer support as well as the standardized outpatient substance abuse treatment and let me say that those additions are a major improvement considering the small allowance for variance in the state guidelines in ability to tailor this type of care aimed at the issues associated with substance abuse treatment and so id have to say that these people, and practically all associated with this type of work within this region do as good a job as can be expected. The truth is, recovery comes down to your own participation within it and is not something you can turn off as walking out the building. Values are of the utmost importance to focus on and so it becomes paramount to follow through with any task as your most recent outspoken developments obligate us to, just as we have claimed the commitment. There is ALWAYS room for exception but only behind solid reason. The most sound reasons tend to come with a decent balance of rationale and logic. Privacy helps us hide our inconsistencies but should never be relied upon for that so self-exposure is best done readily and defense is ok to have (moderately). Seek FIRST to understand and if not fully grasping, don't proceed, keep working and exercising the methods of learning until communication with "people" presents sound understanding and because numerus response it is not only yielded from numerus people, but numerus attempts, expect to find it beneficial to present and represent to the same people as well as others less attached to your goals. It's surprising what you'll find when you are looking, so look for the best in others as you hope for yourself.Yeah, I trust them.

Heart to Heart Counseling Center has been a true source of healing and support for me after experiencing betrayal trauma.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and understood by the counselors. They provided a safe and compassionate space for me to share openly and without judgment.

I came to the hospital voluntarily because I needed help. From day one at the unit I was treated with respect. There was one individual that stood out during my stay, her name was Tiece (not sure on the spelling). She introduced herself to me within the first few days and always said Hi when she came to the unit. She answered my questions and was very attentive. I decided that I needed more after being inpatient and decided to try PHP. She handled everything and even came and walked me over. I can also say that the food was good, the nurses were amazing especially Stacy. I have nothing but good things to say about the facility. If you are struggling with mental health issues, reach out and the hospital will help you. Thank you for saving my life. I am forever grateful.

Started at new hope counseling over a year ago. During that time me and leeann have grown to be good friends. Leeann (counselor) is super respectful and she doesn't treat you like you have a problem. She is very understanding and try her best to help you in anyway she can, you just have to ask. My last day is 6/2/22 and I will miss attending her class I may pop back in sometimes. I recommend A new hope Counseling to anyone if you want to learn, talk, have fun and most importantly be yourself. She makes sure that everyone is respected and being respectful no negative talk its all positive and good vibes. Five stars ALL DAY!
