Staff are friendly and competent. I like how this place has snacks available for most of the day, with drink options. Most other places don't have that. My only complaint is that there's currently a woman in my ward experiencing major psychosis and she's really annoying. I feel like she should be in a more intensive unit. But other than that this place is fine.

We integrate structured and comprehensive medical, clinical, and p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery.
Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care.
Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

| Sandstone Care Denver is an outpatient rehab facility in Denver, Colorado, that offers support to teens, young adults and their families in order to help them get over drug and alcohol addiction. An intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a partial hospitalization program (PHP) are two of their addiction treatment options. These programs offer evide | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Aspen Ridge Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. What stood out the most was the integrity and authenticity of the team—every therapist, counselor, and staff member truly cares about the people they’re serving.
This isn’t just a place that goes through the motions. The staff takes time to get to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis or a case file. They’re consistent, honest, and deeply committed to helping you heal. Even when things got tough, they showed up with compassion and accountability, which helped me trust the process and stick with it.
If you’re looking for a place where people actually care, and where your recovery is taken seriously in a safe and respectful environment, Aspen Ridge is that place. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and the people who helped me through it.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care
1) Group therapy, and learning new skills.
2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.
3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.
I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

This place is not what they advertise. I checked into the Foundry in March of 2022. While it’s on around 80 acres the house itself is small. I witnessed staff smoking weed and nicotine vapes, staff getting in my face and threatening me, staff coming into our space eating our food that we paid for, staff discussing private information with clients, and just a general disrespect for anyone who is a client there. The amount of money you pay is insane from the product given. I can say I’m happy and healthy now but not because of this place.
There is also never a doctor on sight and rarely a nurse there. I couldn’t check in for two days because they were not properly staffed.

Absolutely blown away by this facility. Detoxing IS intimidating!
I was not ready for what I was walking into, in a good way! The staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I felt welcomed, never judged, cared for and about! The staff was AMAZING... (in the order of appearance because I loved them all so much!) Wanda, Darian, Tess, Sadie, Paige, Shante, Frances & Kiki!! LOVE THEM! They made sure I had everything I needed to come down comfortably! The pictures of the rooms, that's what you get! A queen sized bed with a TV in your private room. Beds are comfy and the great lighting for whatever mood you're in! The entire facility is clean, really clean! The staff here really takes pride in what they do! The food, was amazing! They order in Door Dash for lunch and dinner from good places! Plus, they have things to eat in the kitchen as well as coffee, hot tea, Gold Peak teas, Gatorade, and way more! Fruits, toast, bagels! I could go on! I appreciated that they kept everything stocked. While there, they also helped me to line up what my next steps were, provided me resources on places/providers/therapists that were in network for me. I didn't expect that, but really appreciate not having to leave without a plan! Thank you lovely therapist Ali for all your hard work on that! I can't forget Dr. Welcher, she clearly knows what she's doing and how to handle this process! To barely feel any symptoms is unheard of! This is the way to go! No reason to be scared anymore!
One more shout out to the staff! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of them! I've been going through it pretty bad (like most people), but they were so kind, compassionate, attentive and truly have the biggest hearts! They also were fun to be around which made the time there so much easier! Thank you so much!!! I'm gonna send a card when I'm a year clean and enjoying life!
Not sure I need to say this, but I 10/10 recommend this place!

I went here several years ago for day school. I've suffered from bad anger issues and anxiety. This school definitely has its bad and good just like any other place. I can't say I've lived here to give review on that but for day school they treated me fairly well. I did struggle but they compromised allot especially when I bonded with multiple people one big one being Brooke houchens. I love her and she was the best thing for me. They never put their hands on me cause I never gave them a reason to.
Atleast from my experience they won't put their hands on a kid until there is a good enough reason and from a kid that suffers from problems herself can say and vouch for this.
I will be frank the food is terrible and I can see why residential doesn't want to eat it, but if your day you can bring your own lunch which does suck for residential, I do know for a fact if you buy lunch for your kid they can still eat it and have better lunch like day time.
But that being said I can see both sides of why residential has had bad experiences cause they had no control what so ever in their situation. But as a person who's been a long time here and almost became residential I can vouch that there is good and bad to every place.
As long as the kids behave and do what they need to do they won't be treated any other way, just like law if you mess up as an adult with law Involved consequences are deemed to happen for you.
I will be a great mother so my kid will never experience the things I did, but I just know that this place isn't so bad. It's better then jail, the streets, mental hospitals, actual group homes ect. The reasoning is cause they do care about their job and what the kids experience. If the kid was bad, myself would take the situation in action. Especially kids that take it further then it needs to be.
And just like law if you compromise and you listen they to will compromise and listen. They are stricked but lower down the rules to the kids that aren't as bad as others, I wouldn't call it favoritism I'd call it a break cause this job is hard. I can't imagine myself taking on a job with kids that are 1. Unpredictable 2. Have a past not anyone can understand or help to the extent they need especially if I have never experienced the stuff they have. 3. They risk their body, mind, mental health, and Livly hood for the kids here. Ans as far as I understand they had a choice to get into the career and they have a choice to leave especially if they felt a negative impact on them. But instead they dedicate to helping these kids that don't appreciate them or life or even the food given on their table inside denver children home or not. And I know kids there that have been in for such bad stuff it's crazy. So for kids that are already ungreatful they have so much trauma they haven't processed themselves I can see why they see this place as a "bad place" I have changed and I have the motivation to keep thriving not everyone can and you have to understand that and give that person grace and understand their reality cause if not then your gonna let yourself continue to be effected by their own hurt they are putting on you.
Which the professionals here truly understand that having them sacrifice so much of themselves for these kids that they are just ungrateful shyts that try and harm themselves 95% of the time. So please understand this place does have bad and good but also understand the staff try and make it a better environment to their best of ability.
Trust me if you aren't built for this environment you'll leave the first day cause there isn't one day a kid does something crazy and disturbing.
Definitely takes a strong human being handling these kids.
Agree, disagree I don't care. I do support this place and giving it atleast 4 stars since the food is trash is really the main thing that won't change for a very long time. 😂

| Cambridge Care Center, located in Lakewood, Colorado is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions including co-occurring mental health disorders. They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery, as well as flexible outpatient addiction therapy allowing patients | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My 94 year old mom just stayed for 5 days at Cambridge Care Center. It was actually because I’m her caregiver and needed a few days of respite.
When she came home she said that she really liked it and would like to go back sometime!
She said the staff was wonderful and caring and the food was good. Since she is on hospice, Medicare paid for the 5 days.
If she needs to go for a longer stay I would definitely have her go to Cambridge again!

I had a hard time finding the office I was looking for in the building. Overall the whole building is very nice, would like a better directory inside the building. The specific office I was looking for was nice and very well kept, service was quick and staff was friendly.

Great office space options. And you can share amenities at the other Regus locations. The problem for me is that you cannot have an individual address. But that also works for many people.
