I feel like after seeing all of the one star reviews, it's my responsibility to share my experience. I have not posted a public review until this point because of the stigma of having mental health issues, but if it helps someone choose to get the help they need, it's worth it. Denver Springs positively improved my quality of life, twice. I have always felt cared for on a personal level, I have learned coping skills unique to my diagnosis, and the therapists and nurses are highly skilled. Please remember, to be successful at someplace like Denver Springs, you get out of it what you put into it. If you do the bare minimum in therapy or don't dig deep into what's causing certain behaviors you can't expect to improve. DS gave me so many skills, in a safe and positive environment. I am forever grateful.

I lived here back in about 2021-22 famously in the sprout house, moved around there twice- made good friends and adhered to a lot of rules. Their system for medication might be a bit flawed, and they are located in- not always the safest of places, but- it works. And it is a higher lockdown group home than just a typical one.

The best detox i have been too. Im surprised they take medicaid. All of staff are exceptional, they treat you like a human, and are willing to go out of the way to help you. Conor, your the man! The facility is a bit small and laid out kind of funky, but you get essentially a hotel room with a TV. Private bathroom and good shower. Yes, you may share the room with someone, but most of us i'm sure have been bunked up with a lot more than one other. Food was good, snacks when ever you want. You may smoke outside and vape indoors. If in the Springs or Pueblo it's definitely worth the drive. I'll definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know that is thinking of a detox facility. Thank you very much to all that helped.

This place is absolutely awful. My mother developed a severe bed sore while staying here — it got so bad that the infection spread to her bone. The level of neglect and unprofessionalism was shocking. The staff constantly complained about being understaffed, and it was obvious that residents were not getting the care they needed or deserved. The worst decision we ever made was trusting this facility to take care of her. I would never recommend this place to anyone — please look elsewhere for your loved one’s safety and well-being.

Things I loved Sandstone Care 1) Group therapy, and learning new skills. 2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy. 3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions. I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. I could comfortably talk about my state of mind without being judged. This place needs its praises. If you're struggling, please go here.

the people here, most definitely care. & if anyone says otherwise, i question them, not the staff. even when id get aggressive, they never retaliated. they also trusted me and gave me another chance after being suicidal. and their trust for me caused me to do better. they would calm me down, & reassured me. they made it very memorable in here. they’re very helpful. Michael Jeremy Justin Ebonny Trent & Brandon are my favorite Michael is very attentive & pretty monotone . when i was having bad moments and times, he never returned it with disrespect. instead, with kindness, respect, & maturity. no wonder he’s a manager here. he’s good at what he does. he understands how to say the perfect thing at the perfect time. he’s never said anything to rub me the wrong way or make me uncomfortable. he’s a people person whether he likes to admit to it or not. he’s also pretty funny. Michael saved my life many times, & helped me stay away from self harm. so did Ashley & so did Justin. Justin helped keep me from self harming. he’d always notice the signs, & immediately stepped in to make me feel better. he prevented me from self harming. Justin when he was working there, made sure i was always safe, & made me laugh in times i was anxious. he’s an angel. he’s pretty patient, & protected me when a girl threatened to assault me and tried getting close to me. he calmed her down and also checked in on me. Trent is very patient and reassuring Josh is very friendly interactive and funny Ben he is super sweet, & very kind. he doesn’t shame people for being themselves. Jeremy is able to calm people down , and he’s just a vibe. he does what he can to help people. he’s insanely intelligent, & always says the right things. you can tell he’s been through things to be so mature. Jeremy came to help me during a vanilla code. he literally helped me so much. i felt heard, validated, understood, but most importantly, he helped calm me down because that’s the person he is. kind and loving. he understands people’s needs before they say a word. that is his gift. Brooke is highly sweet, & a good predictor. her intuition is to the max, it’s impressive. Hidie is so so sweet and beautiful . i could tell she’s smart by the way she talks. Trevor the tall one is very helpful . when i had a seizure, he was there calming me down and he actually cared. Ebonnie is such a kind person and i like the way she acts/talks. she has a young side to her that she’s not afraid to show. she’s also pretty gangster. u can tell she’s not the type of woman you’d want to mess with. her kindness does not equal weakness. Brandon is very interactive, and is able to touch people in a unique way. he tries his best, i could tell. Ashley is super supportive, & amazing . she’s always smiling and is upbeat. Kim is super nice, & forgiving. she’s the light. Alicia is very intelligent and encouraging . Cris is super sweet, & a natural.💕

The staff was very professional and kind 99% of them, of course is always that one percent that doesn’t fit into this category! Food was delicious! And as a vegetarian when I realized how to figure out the system, they brought my food upstairs to the horizon unit for me because I have IBS and I’m 66 years old and to jam that food in my mouth in less than 15 minutes by the time you walk downstairs and go through the line Was outrageous! Another thing that really bothered me is, I have severe neuropathy and they refuse to provide me with ice packs until I threw a fit yelled and screamed and cried. Did they finally provide me with ice packs this is unacceptable!!! Joey, the mad nurse was one of my favorites. Matthew and I kinda had a rough start and then I really enjoyed him. The gentleman who came from the teenager or kids unit who gave the art history lesson about Turner the artist in the late 1700s early 1800s from the UK was amazing. We need to have him on the floor every day teaching classes to the adult unit because he was amazing!!!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Equinox. The staff is not only caring but goes above and beyond to create a supportive environment for our child who is in the young adult program. The positive direction in which my child is heading is noticeable, after only a few months. It's clear that the EQ team is dedicated to fostering growth and well-being. It is a family-focused approach. The support doesn't end with the individual; it extends to the entire family. This holistic perspective has strengthened our family bonds and contributed to the positive direction in which my child is heading. When looking for a counseling and wellness organization, every child and family has different needs. Finding the right match can be challenging and is a crucial part of the success for the families. For our family, I believe we have found the right match in Equinox. Thank you to the entire team for the incredible work you do!

I believe EQ saved our family. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and empowering. It is a hard space to be in when your child needs this level of care and EQ was the best space for not only our daughter to heal, and become a successful young adult, but a place for our family to heal. We endured 14 months at an RTC before finding our “unicorn” with EQ.

And for once it’s looking like we will have him home soon! We couldn’t have made a better decision than to walk through that door and ask for help. These people are not only great at what they do… they are genuinely good people, with integrity, and are really there to actually help with the recovery process. I hate to think where our lives would be if we never walked into BAART That day. We thank all of you guys for what you do! You guys don’t receive enough credit!!! Thank you

The outpatient program offers individual and group therapy via Zoom. Clients can join groups with a variety of focuses, such as interlock counseling, DMV classes, domestic violence, anger management, parenting, and substance use relapse prevention. They also offer group treatment using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive restructure and Mor
Extremely understaffed unable to provide care that was meaningful in any capacity. The supervisor is also quick to shift blame for not receiving care onto clients not taking responsibility for their own treatment. A terrible way to try to receive even a bare minimum of help. update: I have terminated care here for months and am officially not a client yet still receive weekly emails containing information about one of their classes all links to join included despite calling on multiple occasions to have the emails stopped so just be aware that you have no idea who is joining that online class with you because not even clinica family health and wellness knows GO ELSEWHERE ----- look for peer led organizations Clinica health does not care about you as more then a datapoint

Just wonderful, they made my experience with the whole DUI process less scary and more comfortable. Some friends talked me into coming here a few months ago, but now I am actually happy with the program and everything.

Anything good written about this horrible facility is fake. STUDENTS teach their mental health classes, and most unfortunately it shows that they have no idea what they are doing!! Physiatrist are clearly the worst in state, or they would not be working there due to the pay being so low. I have had nothing but negative and inappropriate dealings with this JOKE of a place telling people they are a mental health facility. Sad, and honestly a disturbing experience.

Dropped in on a 7:30pm Thursday night meeting. This is 100 Alibi's, NOT AA. I repeat, this is NOT an AA meeting. 100 Alibi's is an AA off-white that passes themselves off as AA but is known to overstep the bounda and give their members inappropriate and potentially dangerous advice (such as "stop taking your doctor prescribed medications," or "quit your job). It has even been removed from the Denver Area AA website.

I came into Arid 12+ yrs ago; this club has "lost its AA." This whole thing could've been settled with the Big Book, but you don't practice what you preach (ANYMORE). Change the name to "Sharon's house of lies and manipulation" then it will all be closer to speaking the truth. I do not give up my God Given rights to any entity. Sharon you are abusing your power as so called "manager."

I've been receiving services here for about half a year now, and I truly can't praise the entire staff highly enough. Every single person I've dealt with, from the therapists and psychiatrists to the social workers and front desk individuals (special shout out to Arnolfo 🤙), has been of the highest character and full of kindness. I would recommend MHP to any and everyone - can truly be a life changing experience ❤️
