About Sun County Wellness

Sun County is a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program that treats women struggling from both mental health symptoms as well as substance abuse issues. We treat ages 18 and up and offer programming hours Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Each client is offered various group counseling sessions, along with individual sessions throughout the week by qualified and licensed professionals. This program is also life skills based,so each client will learn the fundamentals of living life on their own in order to acclimate them back into society. Each client will titrate down in programming which will be individualized based on a treatment plan, and eventually be graduated from the program once the treatment team has solidified an exit plan.

The team here tailors care to your individual needs and ensures you feel heard, valued, and respected every step of the way. At Sun County, you have a voice and more than that, you build real, healing relationships. I’m beyond grateful for my time here; it genuinely saved my life.

Sun county wellness is an amazing program! Our clients at Montare BH who have completed our women’s trauma house have gone here and said that it was exactly what they needed. There is no other female outpatient that I’ve seen in Southern California that is this caliber, they focus solely on women and make it a safe haven for them to go to, feel supported. They offer all forms of trauma therapy modalities including a self defense class. This is program to empower women and break them free from the chains of which people in the past may have placed them in. I would highly recommend this program to anyone, my family, my friends, anyone in need.

Sun County Wellness is THE BEST PLACE IN CALIFORNIA they offer outpatient, sober living residency, after care and treatment plans , Family support , individual and group therapy and they strive to see patients like me as active as possible in their recovery wether emotional or physical health. They cover your housing and will house you based on the area you suggest and work with you until you get a job and car . I’ve been in the program 3 months and my program participation covers my sober living expenses. Stephanie is a GREAT director and she is hands on and wants the best for everyone. She checks in on you and make sure you get individual counseling session . This places is good for EVERYONE not just addiction patients is good for anger management, trauma related experiences, depression, mental illness and anxiety, ptsd disorders and for ALL women civilian's or Veterans . 5 stars ! Thankyou guys

Could not have had a better experience! Everything from a beautiful, safe home to recover in, and an amazing team to support my recovery couldn’t have made me more grateful for the time I spent at this program. Coming out of a 7 year drug addiction to Fentanyl and heroin, my recovery wouldn’t be what it is today without this program and their genuine care and support. Thank you to all!

I am having a great experience here at Sun County. The atmosphere is quite relaxing and I am well taking care of. I get the one on one care that I need to support my mental health. I get to participate in live group which allow me to integrate with the others. I would recommend Sun County to anyone who are in need of mental health services
