About Sun County Wellness

Sun County is a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program that treats women struggling from both mental health symptoms as well as substance abuse issues.

Based in San Juan Capistrano, we treat ages 18 and up and offer programming hours Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Each client is offered various group counseling sessions, along with individual sessions throughout the week by qualified and licensed professionals. This program is also life skills based, so each client will learn the fundamentals of living life on their own in order to acclimate them back into society. Each client will titrate down in programming which will be individualized based on a treatment plan, and eventually be graduated from the program once the treatment team has solidified an exit plan.

After working in the treatment space for a decade, it was hard to find a place where I could heal personally. I know every program with a good website, but few have substance. I’m also a bit strong willed at times. Everyone met me where I was at and never pushed anything on me. Stephanie - I’ve known you for a long time and admire the team you have put together and your commitment to creating a place where women can heal. Danelle - You are one of those people that just gets me. You know what I’m thinking and I don’t even have to say it. Rev - You helped me find my God and my light again. Christina - You helped me find my voice again. To everyone else, thank you for being part of my healing journey. Each group, each session, each component played a part in my journey. I know the work is not done, AND I honor the work that has been done. I would send a friend or family member here in a second and I truly believe this is the best women’s mental health program in Southern California. ❤️
