About Sun County Wellness

Sun County is a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program that treats women struggling from both mental health symptoms as well as substance abuse issues. We treat ages 18 and up and offer programming hours Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Each client is offered various group counseling sessions, along with individual sessions throughout the week by qualified and licensed professionals. This program is also life skills based,so each client will learn the fundamentals of living life on their own in order to acclimate them back into society. Each client will titrate down in programming which will be individualized based on a treatment plan, and eventually be graduated from the program once the treatment team has solidified an exit plan.

I am extremely satisfied with the level of care I’ve received at Sun County wellness. I am originally from Boston and was in a very scary and dangerous place after a very long and drawn out drawn out divorce. I was forced into homelessness that caused severe depression and trauma. I did some research and found a great residential center in Laguna Niguel that lead me to Sun County Wellness and this place has truly saved my life. All of the facilitators have been wonderful and I have truly enjoyed working with my therapist Jen. It feels nice to feel so supported and I would highly recommend this place to any woman in need of treatment whether it’s for mental health or substance use or both.

This program is incredible. A very close friend of mine went here and the results were incredible. Immediately the staff was welcoming and it was clear that they care for their clients. She had been to multiple treatments before but this one truly changed her life. The quality of treatment is second to none, I can’t recommend this program enough.
