About The Evergreen at NorthPoint

The Evergreen at NorthPoint has been renamed and is now Imagine by Northpoint Bellevue. This is an outpatient clinic that operates out of Bellevue, Washington. This clinic provides services to teens ages 12 to 17 in an outpatient setting.

Among the services available are evidence based practices for behavioral health struggles, ongoing mental health struggles, and at risk behaviors. There’s also support if you or your teen is experiencing a co occurring substance use disorder as well.

The Bellevue location has recently undergone a renovation, providing a more modern and welcoming atmosphere to receive supportive care. The clinic is east of Seattle and is easy to get to with public transportation services.

Dedicated Mental Health Support

The counseling services in their outpatient program recognize the unique struggles that adolescents face during these developmentally critical years. You’ll find that the outpatient program focuses heavily on addressing mental health recovery needs.

Counselors can help you work through many different mental health needs including addressing disorders like anxiety and depression as well as at risk behaviors like self harm or suicidal ideations.

Addressing these mental health struggles is critical for teens because often these struggles can lead to substance use, bringing a new set of complications and health challenges.

Flexible Counseling Support

Counseling is at the heart of their substance use recovery program. Individual and group therapy sessions allow you to reflect on triggers that have led to your addiction struggles. This will allow you to reflect on your recovery in a way that motivates you to make healthier life choices by engaging in healthy everyday activities.

Their outpatient counseling program is rather flexible too. You’ll typically meet with a counselor once a week or twice a month if your recovery needs are not as intensive. While you’ll primarily work with a mental health or addiction counselor, other health professionals can be brought in to address your recovery needs.

I have been through four rehabs. I came to ATA because my attorney sent me to them. I was arrested for DUI. My checkered past with rehabs came from jobs or family members pressuring me. I ignored everything until I was arrested. I had a blackout and drove. I could have killed people. Everyday I see the news and read about people who drive drunk and killed people. I am blessed not to be in the news. My assessment from ATA opened my eyes. I have had a lot of violence and trauma in my life, but I have to take responsibility for my choices in life. I am grateful for the compassion and guidelines i got from the relapse prevention program. ATA did everything to make me grow. They did not lock me into a never ending program for their own profit.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
