About The OCD Anxiety Center

The center doesn’t submit insurance claims and is not in network with any insurance companies. They’ll provide you with statements so that you can submit claims to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

The intensity of treatment varies by individual. If you need maximum intensive treatment, you can receive therapy every day of the week.

Specialized Therapy for Co-occurring Disorder

Although the center does focus on co-occurring mental health disorders, they use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to treat those with substance use disorder. If you need detox or residential treatment for substance use, the center can refer you to a local facility.

For those of us who’ve experienced trauma, have anxiety, or even have obsessive compulsive disorder, we can be tempted to self medicate to relieve ourselves of these life altering symptoms. These disorders must be treated in conjunction with your substance use disorder.

DBT will teach you the “dialect” that allows you to recognize your own strengths and learn to cope with unpleasant situations. DBT is effective in treating depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, substance use, anger, and relationship conflicts.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Modules

The center uses four DBT modules to treat clients. Mindfulness will allow you to become centered while being hyperaware of what is going on inside and outside of yourself.

Interpersonal effectiveness skills training teaches you how to communicate with others such as dealing with conflict and saying no when a request alters your self respect. Distress tolerance skills allow you to accept and deal with crises without making the crisis worse.

Emotional regulation skills focus on your emotions. You will name your emotions and learn how to manage and reduce the intensity of difficult emotions

The OCD and Anxiety Center is at the top of my referral list. As a local therapist, I find solace knowing that they are only a call away. Maha is a very knowledgeable clinician who provides the proper training, and she’s always willing to consult on cases. I’m grateful to have them as a resource.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
