Lots of caring professionals. I'd single out Lois, a nurse in the surgery department (or recovery room), who went way beyond what I'm pretty sure her job description required to help me out, Dani, good at explaining what was happening, Megan, also a soothing and knowledgable voice and the male nurse (sorry, I didn't get his name but he was pretty tall) in the recovery room the evening of the 29th who stayed with us until our shuttle arraived and provided insite as to what had happened
I was admitted to sky Ridge medical Center on August 11, 2025 with hypertension. I ultimately was admitted because they were having trouble getting it down. I also had an infection in my eye that turned to cellulitis in my face and stayed there for a day and a half receiving antibiotics. Anyway, my nurses were so helpful and very nice compared to any other hospital I’ve ever been in my entire life. They were not judgmental They were. Understanding and empathetic to all my needs. I definitely recommend this hospital or health one because they really do care about their patients well-being. MT

Came in for basic blood work on 6/12/2025 and Left with not being able to use my left arm for 2+ months that I’m finally building back from this injury. (Please note, I was still and did not make a single move while getting the blood drawn).
It’s August 21st and I’m still experiencing nerve pain and intermittent numbness in my left arm.
$203,000 dollars later to figure this out(still going ) and I’m still experiencing pain. Never will be able to trust someone taking my blood ever again. Didn’t even think this could happen from a blood draw.
Had to take short term disability and leave my beloved job just to attend to PCP appointments, mental health appt for what my pcp says is ptsd, along with neuro science and neurologists appt.
On top of that, I will never forget the nurse laughing at me for blowing my vein and jamming that needle right into my nerves.
You have caused so much agony, anxiety, stress, and PTSD that resulted in loss of trust in health care at UChealth.
I will never be able to go into a hospital with trust. Who knows how much longer I have to deal with this.

Outpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
Medically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
Intensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
Inpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. The main principle of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Colorado is that substance use disorders are based on faulty thinking and behavior patterns. The goal of this treatment is to help the individual learn better ways of coping with challenges, which will lead to changes in thinking and behavior.
